Now that I know what it's really all about, you have to appreciate both the clothing and the mission. :) Although I wish they had a few more styles, colors, and/or clothing options, I am not complaining. I bought a great shirt that fits well with a simple but tasteful Hawaiian design on it. My wife purchased a tank top that she really likes, too. The store, which is fairly small, nonetheless has two fitting rooms so that you can try things on. The staff was friendly enough, and the products are neat and well organized. Pricing isn't cheap, but it's not higher than you would expect either. Many of the T-shirts are marked as fitted shirts, but to me they are normal. I don't fit into fitted shirts too well, and even after a wash, the shirt fits perfectly fine, so you are unlikely to have to size up. If you're in the area and are on board with the mission and message, you'd be remiss not to stop in!

This store is in a high traffic tourist area, so providing friendly and welcoming customer service should be a priority. A simple greeting or offer of assistance goes a long way and can make a big difference in a customer's experience. I hope the staff receive additional customer service training, as a more positive and attentive approach would benefit both customers and the business.

Shirt shopping is always easy at any Kahala shop and this Hale'iwa Store Lots location is nice and open and spacious enough to browse was easy to scan and look for the particular print that made it easy so that it wouldn't be necessary to open it up and make a mess. The shop here is very nice and organized while the staff here is a delight helping with any questions that I had especially when I was asking for a specific size. We left with 5 or 6 shirts because they all looked great. Staff looked like they were constantly restocking the shirts so they were not lacking in inventory. Shirts were about $49 which was steep but it makes sense with how Patagonia is. I'm glad I was able to make it and its worth it if you're a big t-shirt collector.

There was road construction going on in front of the store, we were fortunate that the construction workers directed us into their parking lot . The owner came out to greet us and let us in (Note: Masks are required as is Social Distancing. All clothing is steamed before they put it back on the racks). It's a wonderful place run by the nicest people you'll ever meet. They treat everyone like family. It's very special to find a clothing store that feature boutique clothing. My wife found a few blouses and we were fortunate to get some of their wonderful Granola. The owner signed us up to get updates on new products and colors that were coming in. She let us know that when we get an update we can preorder before and pick up when it comes in. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back

The store wasn't the biggest or the busiest but the employees were pretty friendly. They have a decent sized selection here, nothing out of the ordinary. I was really here for location specific stuff so I bought a Honolulu Bait tee, a Harbor Vintage collab tee, and a Gremlins Bait tee. Definitely worth stopping by if you're a fan of the brand of if you're looking for some decent shoes.
