And one of the coolest things (and I've never seen this before) they will professionally sew one of their vintage patches to their cool jackets or even embroider them, making each piece so personal and one of a kind. The store, which is fairly small, nonetheless has two fitting rooms so that you can try things on. The staff was friendly enough, and the products are neat and well organized. Pricing isn't cheap, but it's not higher than you would expect either. Many of the T-shirts are marked as fitted shirts, but to me they are normal. I don't fit into fitted shirts too well, and even after a wash, the shirt fits perfectly fine, so you are unlikely to have to size up. If you're in the area and are on board with the mission and message, you'd be remiss not to stop in!

Shirt shopping is always easy at any Kahala shop and this Hale'iwa Store Lots location is nice and open and spacious enough to browse was easy to scan and look for the particular print that made it easy so that it wouldn't be necessary to open it up and make a mess. The shop here is very nice and organized while the staff here is a delight helping with any questions that I had especially when I was asking for a specific size. We left with 5 or 6 shirts because they all looked great. Staff looked like they were constantly restocking the shirts so they were not lacking in inventory. Shirts were about $49 which was steep but it makes sense with how Patagonia is. I'm glad I was able to make it and its worth it if you're a big t-shirt collector.

Since I had to go to Costco Waipio, decided to check this place out since it's located in Wahiawa...same side of the island which I rarely visit. I usually have a hard time finding casual tops that appeal to me because I want a certain type of sleeve, length of the blouse, fit has to be just right and comfortable. I rarely can find 2 that I like...I found 5 here! I actually found 3, paid for it and was about to leave but met a customer, Katie, who was wearing something I liked and found out she bought it from Duke's. Gail showed me 2 of the same style but different colors, tried it on and loved it so I bought both. All that I bought is 100% cotton, washable, no ironing and they met my needs.
