Do not buy the white logo t-shirts. They are garbage. The fabric used is the thinnest, cheapest material I have ever seen. I washed it one time and it is unwearable. Stopped here for some North Shore shirts. Smallish store jammed full with all kinds of merch. Plenty of shirts in stock and all different sizes. Plus shorts, bikinis, foot wear and beach going supplies. They got some surfing supplies covered too - I mean it is a surf shop. A couple of friendly teen (I assume) employees right there to make sure we found everything we were looking for. Bought a 2 shirts with nice graphics. Great products and great customer service. The shirts and shorts and hats are made from the highest materials. The raised on rice branding is very popular from the spam musubi, and two scoops rice, hold the mac are cool. We visited this location and also the bigger main store in Ala Moana Center. They sell yeti, oniell, billabong, and rvca products at the main stores on the island. We bought so much cool stuff we had to buy a yeti bag to bring back to Cali. Anyway, the Aloha and island spirit has been carried on since 1971 when Craig Sugihara opened his first store in Pear City. Mahalo!!! read more

This shop stands out amongst the many, many sea and surf stores on the North shore. They make a lot of their own designs that are bright, colorful and fun! Also carry tons of Yeti products. Whatever your size, shape or color preference, they have it! Men and women's bathing suits and casual attire, too. We stopped by the shop after lunch in the plaza and the staff were so welcome and nice. There were a few folks working and it appeared like one person was dedicated just to sanitizing which made the shopping experience much more comfortable even with Covid concerns. Oh how I miss the motherland! Every time I visit the island, I always stop by at this shop. They have an array of t-shirts, shorts, hydros, yeti, stickers and slippers (flip flops) and many more. They run sales/deals ALL the time or at least, every time I have visited. Location has become a major tourist attraction. Nestled in a quaint shopping plaza right next door to Matsumoto's. There is plenty of parking in the back, which does get full pretty quickly. Perfect gifts to bring back from your vacation. It never fails, I always walk out with something. Now that my daughter lives on the island, I know that I can ALWAYS count on her to bring something back for me when she comes home. Cute and quaint store. Most of the time, they are always stocked. Clean and organized merch. Folded clothes on tables ALL THE TIME, which I appreciate cause it makes it so much easier to find the sizes, colors, design. Friendly & helpful staff. LOVE this place!!! We came here while we were waiting for our kayak tour so I could get a UPF shirt prior to going out on the water. They have so much in this little shop but it is so well organized and they have so many options for swim suits, shirts, clothes, shoes, yetis, stickers, anything water related they have it! The staff here was amazing to and everyone was super nice and very helpful. The shirt I got is very comfortable and I wear it all the time when I go out onto the lake to fish or paddle board because it is such great quality. I was searching for the Hydro Flask limited edition Hawaiian version all throughout Waikiki and no such luck. My mom then tells me that she found it in this store (was standing in line for Matsumoto) so I went inside the store and lo-and-behold, there they were... I got one 32 oz and my Mom bought my sis-in-law the 20 oz. So if you're in the lookout for new water bottles... this is the place. If they don't have your size, they are eager to call another location to help you find it. Parking can be difficult when it gets super busy, but don't be discouraged because it is worth the wait. Great selection of brands- TC, Hurley, DaKine, Yeti, Hydroflask, etc... What I really loved is that they have a lot of Hawaii exclusive items here! REALLY cute t-shirts and Hydros... They also carry a good selection of Hydroskins (the silicone hydroflask protectors) that have an image of the Hawaiian Islands laser-cut out on one of the sides. This location is small but has tons of clothing options and even offers surf boards. If you buy a board you get free fins. EXCELLENT staff, never jerky whether you're a tourist or someone local. I came in to grab some shirts for me (live here) and people back home. I've only been there a few times, maybe 4 or 5, but the manager recognized me and that says a lot about how they take care of customers. I know it's not much, but when you get a nod and word from someone at any store, it feels good they remembered. Sidenote: My two boards are T&C (Tommy Tanaka and Pang) so I feel some connection to my Haleiwa T&C store =) It's not that this location is better than Ala Moana, but if you've ever been to North Shore, you know the vibe is way, way different. Great selection of products and some good deals! I made the mistake of ordering a shaved ice from Matsumoto's next door first before trying to browse in here. Before I could take two steps in the entryway one of the young guys from inside told me "no food in here!" They really ought to post a sign in their window if that's the case because I would've waited to order the shaved ice if I had known. Instead I ate as much of it as I could and then had to throw the last half of it out - I got brain freeze! The inside of this store is pretty small but they have all the basics you need. It was a little on the cold side when I was visiting so I decided to get a new rash guard. The manager was really friendly and asked if I needed help while I wandered around. I was able to try things on in the fitting room in the back before making my purchase. read more

My gf and I walked in about 10 minutes before closing and we're looking to get new hydro flasks. They had a great selection of colors and had the wide mouth straw cap that we wanted to get as well. Even though they were about to close, the employees didn't pressure us to hurry and one of the guys saw us grab the lids off the peg and grabbed two brand new ones from the back instead! I was pleased with the selection and price at T&C. They had a variety of cool shirts, hats and sunglasses with various bogo deals on different combinations. They had more than just clothes when I was there in early February 2015. Quite a variety of GoPro accessories, snorkel gear, body boards and other beach stuff. The ladies working were very nice and let us put a few shirts on hold until we got done walking around Haleiwa. It's nice they do a lot of their own T&C designs in addition to the name brand surf apparel, gives your purchase a little uniqueness in a very saturated t-shirt market across the Hawaiian Islands. You have much better odds at buying a print on a shirt, shorts or hat here than you do at a lot of the other souvenir shops that can be found everywhere. read more

Good Morning. I was at Haleiwa's T & C Store in January 2017. I bought some good quality men's t-shirts for me. My girlfriend chose a single sleeveless T-shirt with flower print, very beautiful, but with a high price for the product. I bought it to please her because it was the only thing she liked at the store. She had not yet worn the T-shirt, and what was our surprise when she found the closet drawer crammed with tiny ants, hundreds of them, all crowded around the T & C T-shirt, eating the print and making holes in the fabric. Even after washing, the print continues to mellow. What do you put in this print, sugar ??? We are very disappointed, sad and angry. What can you do to remedy this situation? read more

When we went to the shop, the guy told the girl,"A lot of Asians are coming. Take the 50% sign out!" (We are Asians but we are not foreigner, so we understood what he was trying to do). We already saw the sign, so my husband asked her if it's still on sale. She looked surprised (probably by him speaking perfect English) and reluctantly said, "yes".
