I'm about to bring the noise for Nonna's Very clean eatery. Feels upscale, romantically decorated, kids are welcome but if you get a night off, GO ALONE. Service was friendly and perfectly paced. It's quiet inside. Sorry, they do not have gender neutral bathrooms-hopefully they'll be one of the more progressive businesses in Huntsville and more people will dine in; relative to comfort. Food- they have all of the American Italian staples penne alla vodka, Branzino, fettuccine alfredo, chicken breast go on everything! But all of the WONDERFUL MORSELS we crave from Nono's hole in the wall like Stromboli, Grilled chicken salads, calzones and the big one PIZZA!!!! eats we crave from other Italian eateries are missing. (authentic). Maybe they'll upgrade that or add some new things. Most of the dishes, if not all, come with red sauce/pasta, melted cheese broiled on top, and bread. So it's the exact same dishes but different protein. I love the environment here. We were able to eat in peace. My Caesar dressing was sweet and I don't like sweet dressings. The calamari needed seasoning and to be brought out hot. I have no complaints other than the easily fixable stuff. Buddy scraped the eggplant parm plate YUM!! We plan on revisiting soon. Super delicious food! I had the meatball appetizer and cheese sticks. The meatball dish with extra cheese and sauce was fantastic! Tried this place today with some friends. It's in the location that Terry's Pizza used to be on Bailey Cove. We went for lunch and it was pretty busy. We were seated quickly. They brought fresh bread out when we were seated and it was tasty! I ordered the baked trio (Lasagna, manicotti & cannelloni) which was cheesy and delicious. My husband got the chicken murphy dish with jalapeño in it. Friends got chicken parm which looked amazing. Good was good. Came out quick. Cost us about $40 for 2 of us. Nonna's is a great Italian restaurant that has the best food choices, which are so very good! The service that we had when we went a couple of times actually has been wonderful. There isn't a whole lot of space in the restaurant so you have to get there early if you want to get a quick seat. It was a pizza place originally that went out of business so hopefully they will get a bigger place close to the same area so we have quick access to them! read more

Nonna's is owned by the folks that own Luigi's in Madison. I haven't eaten at the latter, but we were alright with Nonna's. They have clearly put some care into decorating (and had a 97 health score when we went), and we were there early but they still had several customers. Our server, Asa, was pleasant and checked in often. They offer gratis bread (or several other appetizer options) and it's good, if not amazing. Better half got a chicken and pasta dish (scarpariello, maybe?) and I went for the eggplant parm. Neither are going to win awards (the sauce refused to cling to the pasta, but at least the pasta wasn't overcooked) but everything was pleasantly seasoned and well prepared. I didn't notice a lot of noise, the TVs were on mute, and the restaurant was clean. I saw lots of takeout orders heading out, too. Overall, I'd put this into rotation as a quick--and not super expensive--dinner spot. Do not go here!! I saw it on TikTok and thought "wow that looks great" man was I wrong! The rolls came out and they looked great but zero flavor! Tasted like I was eating a loaf of bread. We then ordered the deep fried ravioli, and it was ok. For our main dish we had chicken ravioli, and it was HORRIBLE!! Tasted like it came out of the frozen section of the store. The chicken was flattened and just straight up breading. Also it was very stretchy, and chewy. Service was great, and the waiter was super nice. The portions are just right. Not your standard over-the-top portion the requires a to-go box for disappointing leftovers. Instead, you get the perfect amount to enjoy at the restaurant. The service is phenomenal. The food is beyond delicious. We had four different dishes - all of which were outstanding. I personally had the truffle ravioli which was to die for. I've been craving authentic homemade Italian for years. I've been to a couple places in town. They were ok but they didn't really live up to their hype in my opinion. I was looking for one of those small Italian restaurants, family owned, cozy decor, pasta cooked just right, fresh garlic pieces you can actually see, crispy bread that's warm and chewy in the middle, friendly staff that treats you like family or old friends. When we tried Nonna's for the first time yesterday, they checked all the boxes. We will be back. And since we live nearby, I hope this little restaurant becomes a neighborhood favorite for many years to come. read more

We have visited this restaurant many times with friends and family. The food is always prepared perfect and the portions are generous. Grandchildren always enjoy their visit to Nonna's and portions are perfect for the littles. No alcohol sales but you may bring your own bottle of wine if you wish. read more

I enjoyed my Fettuccine Alfredo, my girlfriend's Baked Ziti ( we did a 6ft cheese pull ), and my mother really liked her White Wine and Caper pasta dish (I forget the name of this). For starters, the calamari was terrible. Rubbery squid coated with absolutely flavorless breading. The arugula salad was about 30% arugula and 70% what looked like spinach. I have eaten here a couple of times in the past two months. It's a bit out of my way and I live in a part of the city where there are a lot of good recluse by. This is old style, home style Italian food. It's good. The portions are generous and well priced. I can generally get two meals out of a portion and my 16 year old son is satisfied. Service is good- especially considering that it's mostly teens. Owner is attentive. It's a great place for families. The ambience is fine- it's comfy and clean but nothing to write home about. Decor is cute. Service was mediocre. My husband ordered the meatball appetizer And salad as his dinner since he can't eat a lot of carbs. Waiter told my husband that there were 6 meatballs there were in fact only 8 tiny half meatballs. The salad was the most pathetic $5.50 salad ever a tiny bowl of lettuce with 2 slices of tomato. We let the waiter know about the meatballs and his response was "oh". No apology, no let me get you some more nothing. I wanted this place to be good so that we would have an Italian go to restaurant that was close instead of going to Madison, but we won't be back. read more

I am a Door Dash delivery person and was quite irked with the fact that they entered the restaurant name as Luigi's Restaurant and the address they used is a massage parlor next door to Nonna's Restaurant. Staff says, "Nonna's is a sister company." Who would know that? Many drivers come in from places like Boaz and Scottsboro to make money. I am not from Huntsville so how is anyone to know this information? If you want Door Dash to pick up orders, the proper restaurant name and address are important. People not familiar would see the massage parlor address, unassign and leave - no Luigi's in the vicinity - wrong name, wrong address. DD would pay 1/2 the cost because of the company's failure to use the correct address and restaurant name. They must not care about losing money, customers, orders or income. It is very unprofessional to use the massage parlor's address also. We do not manhandle customers. Massages aren't what we deliver and it is awful that is the place with the visible address while Nonna's hides from the IRS, which DD drivers could care less about Uncle Sam being owed any money. Because of the deception, I would never eat here. I would go to any other family-owned Italian restaurant that was honest, the address was correct and the company name matches on the DD app. Drivers are not illiterate and we don't have time for guessing games. read more
