I had mid-afternoon hunger pangs & was driving past the Mall. I had not visited this franchise location before. Their red umbrellas outside can be seen from the main road, so I did not have to navigate the cavernous tunnels of the mall to find the food court. The service was pleasant and prompt. I tried the Roasted Garlic Cream Tortelloni, which was pretty yummy. It was saltier than I would usually choose. A great choice for a quick meal. read more

Now through the changes of the pandemic, I do believe the quality of the food has decreased. Prices going up, portions going down. Are they still a "good" spot to go? As always, I'm always particular about reviewing big chains, because you have a certain expectation already, both with the food and the overall experience. But, I also think that experience can vary greatly from place to place for a number of different factors. That being said, I was pretty happy with our recent excursion to this location. It was during a busy shopping time, and the Mall was... relatively busy. I mean, it probably would have been jam-packed, but... pandemic. Still, they were doing a fair trade in to-go orders, which was a good sign. The guy taking our order was very clearly spoken (that is to say, loud... but in a good way), and he helped us make some decisions on our meal. We didn't have to wait too long, and the food was pretty decent. You can change things up pretty much however you like, so if you prefer X noodles with Y sauce, then just ask. It's pretty flexible. I got the Korean spicy beef noodles. I enjoyed them, but they weren't immensely different from my memory of the Japanese-style udon noodles. That's not my ignorant palette speaking either, btw, they really weren't all that different... and I've had amazing Korean AND Japanese food in the past. The other dishes were more in line with expectations, though, including the cheese tortellini. Nothing to write home about, but solid food, served piping hot, and totally satisfying a hunger and craving. Honestly, the service was what really earned the high marks here. I'd definitely go back, but I'd probably try a different dish. Don't get me wrong, my noodles were very good, but I was hoping for something a little more... different. Their mac-n-cheese... that's the ticket. Of note: Coca-Cola Freestyle machine for drinks here. So, it's self-service (no biggie), but you can make whatever flavors you like, basically. Overall: It's good for a N&C chain. I'd definitely return again. The store was clean, the food was good, the price wasn't TOO outrageous, and I definitely didn't leave there hungry. Been coming here for years. This place has its ups and downs. Ups: The chicken noodle soup Downs: This is a company wide thing - the Mac and cheese is always dry with not nearly enough cheese. How come Chick-fil-A has better Mac and cheese when it's Noodles & Company's specialty? My biggest pet peeve is when I walk into an empty restaurant to order just plain old soup (pre-made) pay, then wait. Online orders seem to come first as I wait and watch all these orders that need to be cooked, the soup I ordered is right behind the registers. Sometimes I wait 10 minutes for 2 scoops of soup, while the online orders food pile up with no other customers present. Ridiculous. read more

My daughter loves the Truffle Mac and Cheese. So I agreed to have dinner here with her. I had the Japanese Udon noodles with Steak. It came with carrots and broccoli, but I didn't want those veggies. I asked the cashier to instead add egg and Green Top Onions. He charged me an additional 75 cent for those two items. I am far from a cheap person but you would think that if I wasn't getting the broccoli and carrots, it would be an even exchange. Also, I ordered the pot stickers which seemed to be veggie base. The purpose of going was for my daughter and she enjoyed her food. So it wasn't a total waste . However, I won't be returning. I didn't enjoy my food and most of it ended up in the trash. I must say it was crowded in there, but just wasn't my cup of tea. Next time, I am choosing the restaurant. It was too pricey for a cheap meal that wasn't satisfactory. read more

Noodles & Company is delicious. No matter what I order, I end up with a great meal. They have different cuisines, from Asian pan noodles to American macaroni & cheese. The noodles are cooked well and seasoned properly. You can also get an order of cheesy garlic bread. Noodles & Company gives you the option of sticking to what's on the menu or switching out the normal noodles for zoodles (zucchini noodles) or whole wheat if you want something different. Ignores curbside orders. The Noodles and Company location at the Annapolis Mall has a tendency to ignore curbside order deliveries when customers arrive. This has happened to me multiple times and I've seen it happen to numerous other customers while waiting. One of the reasons why I choose certain take-out vendors is for their offered curbside services... when you have little kids, or are elderly, or have mobility difficulies, it is a life-saver, and I'd be willing to pay for it. This company offers curbside, but they often don't deliver, don't respond to the "I've arrived" button, and in at least one case - wouldn't answer the phone after waiting a significant amount of time. Each time, when I went inside, my order was sitting on the counter getting cold with the word "Curbside" written on it in large letters. The dining room was virtually empty, there were numerous workers behind the counter or in the dining room, but nobody running curbside. If the location is under-staffed, ok - but then don't offer optional services that you don't have the staffing to fulfill. Don't offer curbside service if you can't deliver. The food was delicious but the manager seemed pissed off. I don't know what she was mad at about but she should leave the attitude at the door and be friendly to customers. I am consistently impressed with the food quality and service at this Noodles and Co. The staff have always been friendly, efficient, and helpful and the restaurant has always been very clean any time I've dined in. Lately I've been ordering through food delivery services and my food today arrived quickly, piping hot, and with everything carefully packaged and labeled, they even tied a plastic bag around my soup cup just in case it leaked, even though it did not. This place is good in a pinch! Their noodles are served al dente and almost any way you like them. They have a find selection of beverages and seating is seat yourself. It's fast food without the fries. They do regular and small bowls and then you can add a meat or tofu to anything. The selection ranges from Asian, Med to American. I enjoyed a Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine. It was delicious but it has some spicy stuff in it, and I don't don't like spicy stuff. I hate when there is no warning. I can only imagine it came with someone's sauce from the previous meal (they stir fry up the meals, probably don't clean the wok in between plates). So there I had spicy stuff, eh. I only got three mushrooms too, which was a bummer - I like mushrooms. Hubby got a Indonesian Peanut Saute which he found average. So if you are going to go here, this place is fast food, it gets 5 stars for being some of the best fast food you can get, but as far as dinner goes, well, we thought it would have been more, and well it's just ok. Tho I don't understand why sometimes why a a drink will come with the meal and sometimes it's an extra charge. The 5 star is for the food tho the staff has sometimes has much to be desired. As their lit-up sign and decided to stop in; good decision! Ordering was easy as the menu was well laid out. I ordered a "Chicken Veracruz Salad" which is Mixed greens topped with Roma tomato, red onion, chili-lime chicken, naturally raised bacon crumbles, fresh-cut corn, tossed with jalapeño ranch dressing and crispy jalapeños, fresh California avocados and cilantro. Let me tell you, Delish! And the jalapeño ranch dressing was just enough to warm you up without going overboard. I'll be back! read more

Recently I visited the Annapolis Mall location and found it to be equally as satisfying as the other five or so locations I've visited. Here's how it works - You order at the counter and then they bring your fresh cooked pasta/noodle dish to you. It's very efficient. if you are vegetarian than you can enjoy your pasta/noodle dish as is. If you are a meat eater, then you can beat your chest and order it with various meats such as chicken, parmesan crusted chicken, pork, etc. The pesto cavatappi with parmesan crusted chicken is my favorite but I also love the richness of the Wisconsin mac and cheese. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable and warm making Noodles a great lunch time spot or ideal for a casual dinner. As a Diet Coke addict, I love their Coca-Cola "Freestyle" soda fountain which allows you to choose up to 100 different sodas. The restaurant was clean and service was adequate. read more

Service at this location was mostly polite and fast. Major issue we had was with the utensils being used. We asked for plastic utensils out of an abundance of caution and the first utensils we were served (not individually wrapped, stored open all together) looked to have a LOT of black hair on the forks. The plastic utensils themselves are black and it could have been plastic shavings. But after examining intensely we seriously just could not tell, and it was a lot. Looking like a crazy person to ask for new utensils at the counter I was helped without a word said to me and the next forks had less but the exact same thing. We honestly could not tell if it was hair or a plastic defect, it really ruined our experience and left us so grossed out. They have a meal from every country. Today I tried the Japanese pan noodles a low calorie lunch portion with chicken. This meal had the right amount of seasoning to the chicken and the noodles where thick and soy like. On the menu it says it supposed to be spicy. It wasn't spicy at all. The lunch portion was enough for the time. The place didn't look too clean ( the floor ) that is why I am giving this place a 4 star review. They have a policy that if you don't like the food you can bring your plate up and they will make you a different meal, specially if it's your first time there. read more

My family and I love this place! The staff is so great, service is unbeatable to be sure. The assistant manager even remembered my husband's usual addition of Parmesan chicken when he forgot to order it one day. My daughter and I are vegan, and they are more than willing to make changes for us. They will use different pans for us and anyone with any allergy concerns. We love the outdoor tables on a nice day, as well as the speed in which the food is delivered hot, fresh and delicious. Great meal for a good price, clean and very friendly. One of my not-so-fav parts of Noodles is their soups are more or less interchangeable. I would give this place a 4 or even a 5 if they would just get my order correct. My husband and I have gone there since it has open and some how they always forget one part of our meal. I would maybe understand if it was a huge order but we are talking about 2 or 3 items. Tonight I just got the med salad with chicken, med sub, and chicken noodle soup. We love Noodles to grab a quick bite when we're around the mall area. It has something for everyone - Asian, American, Italian and the prices are great as well. You can add on any protein to any dish. I normally get a salad while my son gets noodles. There are some healthy options here as well. The food comes out very quickly which is a plus for kids. There aren't too many tables inside and it does tend to get crowded during peak times but people move quickly in and out so it's not too much of an issue. Oh and I love the highchairs here! They have high backs and really contain the kiddos. They make eating with children a pleasure! read more

Today, my husband and I went to the Noodles & Company at Annapolis Mall for lunch. We were amazed by the quality of staffers who eagerly told my husband about all of the spicier choices on the menu (he likes that and he loved his Korean beef/noodle dish). I can't eat anything spicy or acidic, so I ordered a salad and they offered to swap out the tomatoes with broccoli and cucumbers and it was the most delicious salad I have ever ordered, anywhere! I'm not exaggerating, it was fresh and imaginatively put together. Every last bit of it seemed like it came from a farmer's market on that very day. I was astounded. I normally avoid restaurants because I can't eat anything in them these days, but this pretty little restaurant gets an A++ from me! Not a bad spot to grab something to eat at if you're down by the mall. I haven't been to any other location but the staff here is nice. They can get really crowded on weekends and around lunch time so it can take a bit of a wait. The food is decent and well price for what you get.
