Stopped here with my brother Hatt for a Thursday night meal while in Annapolis. I had a couple options carved to two and settled on this location. Set up to order at the counter and then it's brought out to you, there is no table service. There are red picnics table style table coverings, large areas for seating, and a casual atmosphere. Looking at the menu they have pasta dishes, Italian dishes, as well as made to order pizzas and pick and choose slices. We went with a couple of apps and shared a cheese pizza. For the apps we chose the burrata, as well as Hatt scooping an order of wings. The burrata was pretty vanilla - very small tomato slices, small amounts of balsamic on top, and the line of tomatoes and cheese sitting on top of random lettuce. Overall meh - cheese is hard to mess up. Especially when it's just out of packaging. The wings had an odd taste - not really Buffalo - or if so a different style? Wouldn't have again. Cheese pizza was your standard NY large slice pie - the sauce was very viney - very bright flavor and tasted freshly made. Overall good - thin on crust and the type you could eat forever. Clean restaurant with friendly service. This is not a super authentic Italian place, more fast casual. It's a good place for a quick bite especially with kids. Our food was hot and came out quick. I'd come here again and you should give it a try if you like basic Italian food. read more

Was very disappointed in the veggie calzone. Will not order again. A chunk of cheese, canned mushrooms, broccoli..I preordered online , called when I arrived and asked to have order brought out. BEST PASTA I had in awhile The chef's were awesome as well as friendliest staff. The pasta had artichoke heart's, mushrooms and more and anyone who knows knows I love canned artichokes from Whole food's ! Wine was great as well. Service was above and beyond and if you are traveling it is super close. They were so accommodating as well ! I love the feeling of a friendly environment so much more then ever in the little secluded area we sat in. Super close to walking distance from hotels like Courtyard and Sonesta. This is a chain in MD. It was close to my hotel and had good reviews. You can dine-in, carry out, or get it delivered. There is a large assortment of pizzas visible from where you order for dine-in. They all looked amazing, but I ordered mushroom and a chicken BBQ - one slice of each, and a side salad. They have an amazing sauce that comes thru regardless of your topping selections. Both were delicious, however my fav was the mushroom. The side salad was large, and I should have asked for no raw onion- there was quite a bit - but the greens were fresh and there were olives, cakes, and tomato slices dressed in a house Italian dressing. This location disappoints. The food is just bad. The pizza to go is old and stale. Theyll lie and say it's only been sitting for a few minutes. When it's been sitting for a long time. I came here with my fam and the food wasn't the best. My ordered calzones and first round it was hard. The dough was so hard and thick. Worse of all is that the bottom was burnt!! The second time was a little burnt. Red flag is when calzones came out quick like less than 8 minutes. Huge indicator that it's not made fresh. DP dough calzones takes 15 to 20 to make! After that fiasco he just settled on a sub. Not the best. The steak rolls were too hard. Though the meat portion was good. Its not tasty if it's on a bad bun. Employees are ok. Front line staff are ok but the chef tall lean latino man with dark hair is just arrogant and rude for no reason. If you plan to dine in you have to ask for everything upfront. They have a thing on the receipt for a tip line but why? You dont put out flatware or napkins and you dont refill the drinks. I hope the improve the food. Wow! First stop moving from Ohio to the east coast was PIZZA. My husband and I ordered based on the photos online. The photos looked delicious. So, we ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza and chicken parm. The pizza crust was cooked excellent!. Crispy bottom. Good sauce and cheese! It is just... perfect and I think I'm addicted. This used to be such a good place years ago it is a shame to see it decline so badly. I was in for a late business lunch today from the offices across the street. I will never make that mistake again and will warn coworkers as well. I've already heard people talking around the offices and will just add my opinion when I have the opportunity. The food: it is mediocre compared to what it used to be. Seems like the same recipes but preparation is careless and cuts corners. Before you question my qualifications to make that comment, I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. The drinking glass they handed me was dirty and the food was cold for some reason I guess while looking for someone to bring it out? They should have looked at the back booths. They probably could all use a class in food safety. The staff: Well, there were probably 4 tables with paying customers, most over 50. They had the typical Italian music playing but it could hardly be heard over the rap music one of the employees was playing while sitting at one of the back booths eating, clearly on a break of some sort. Loud rap music bouncing in his seat bobbing his head like he was at a concert. Paying customers were just looking. The rest of the booths were taken up by two other employees one per booth, with nothing to do I guess which was surprising because the bathrooms were a mess. Maybe they could have spent the time cleaning before taking break. The three booths in the back all taken up by employees shouting in Spanish to each other over the volume of the rap music and behind the counter was not much better. It was like one big party. I won't go back, and I will encourage others not to take business clientele there. I'm not surprised to see there is a realtor's lock on the door, All I can say is if what I saw today is an example of what you care about your business or your customers, I hope you close sooner than later so someone else has an opportunity to serve the community. read more

Food is hit and miss, but more miss than hit. I usually have a plate or 2 that wasn't fully cleaned, and now they've started tacking on a 3% convenience fee whether inline, or in-person. I guess that's convenient for them? On a positive note , the food usually comes out quickly. read more

We love to get Italian food from this place. Tuesdays are pasta nights where you can get an entree and pay 1/2 for an accompanying pasta dish. I love their Pasta Al forno with a very creamy cheesy meat sauce. My husband loves the seafood pasta. Very large portions given. read more

The service here is poor.. The lady taking our order was distracted by other employees in conversation and constantly telling us to hold because she was also on the phone. We had to repeat our order like 5 times because she wasn't listening. We then waited like 30 minutes until my Fiance approached the counter to only find that our pizza was ready and sitting while employees are just hanging out. We ordered the cheese special with Pepperoni on the whole thing and one half onion and the other half mushroom. When we got our pizza the mushrooms and onions were all on one side and pepperoni on the other. We were tired from driving and shopping so we just took the pizza. My fiance did mention it but we didn't have time to wait another 30 mins. The mushrooms are not fresh at all, they must be from a can because they were mushy and the texture was slimey. The onions were cut into huge large chunks and just thrown on to the pizza. We ended up taking off the onions and mushrooms. Also we purchased two cups and told the lady we wanted club soda, she didn't give us our cups she instead gave the cups to another employee and said we wanted water. I repeated we don't want flat water we want club soda, the lady then comes from behind the counter walks up to the soda machine and shows me the flat water tab and walks back behind counter. I find the club soda tab myself and as I am pouring she is watching me. I don't know why it mattered which drink I was getting if I purchased a drinking cup. But apparently they gaurd the drinking machine. read more

This time the salmon with lemon sauce was especially good. Salmon was fresh, good garlic lemon flavor and lots of fresh veggies.
