My pad Thai was entirely undercooked, tasted like rubber, and the sauce was watered down. this Meal was so atrocious that even a starving Victorian child would not consume this mass produced and reheated slop. I would rather endure the pain of the Gympie Gympie plant sting, better yet, consume regurgitated bird seed topped with a glaze of mystery trash can liquid, even better yet, I would rather eat a Plethora of highly infectious fungi, rather than eat this horrific meal again. not only was the meal heinous, the service was horrific. I aged approximately 20 years after waiting in this empty shell of a restaurant. This store, better yet, the company is a waste of resources that can be used for genuinely useful purpose. This restaurant is the epitome of slop and a cash grab, I never had huge expectations for this establishment, however any semblance of hope I had for this meal to be enjoyable at all, has been shattered. I pray that the staff, which are entrapped by their company contracts, free themselves as soon as possible and look for an occupation that is worth their time. How could a human being possibly spend any sort of their precious life in such a lifeless and appalling workplace? If Dante's inferno had a 10th level, this store would be an accurate representation of such place. A place in which the utmost of humanities greed and gluttony festers within the confines of this establishment, is how i would describe this place. If Sisyphus was forced to eat at noodles in company for all of eternity, instead of pushing the rock up the mountain for all of eternity, I do not think he could do it. this meal required me to muster the entirety of my courage in order for me to take a measly two bites. in conclusion, the hatred I am feeling for this establishment at this exact moment in time is so severe I do not think anything could ever make me more enraged. so congratulations, you've pushed yet another customer to their absolute limit via your horrific rendition of pad Thai. I actually don't think Noodles & Company is THAT good but I like the ease of their mobile ordering a lot. You just pick the dish, your size, and do some add ons. I find it nice that if you remove a topping you can usually sub it for something else at no charge. Expect a bowl to cost around $8-$10 depending on what you add. Their Japanese pan fried noodles are okay. I like he Thai green curry dish a bit better. The flavor is decent and if you add hot sauce it gives it a nice kick. read more

We did pickup and it was ready and hot. It's been a long time since I have eaten here so I thought I would give it another try. Best way to summarize our experience was that it was fine. I had a pesto pasta and the best part was the Parmesan chicken but for the extra amount you pay you don't get much. The rest of the bowl didn't have much flavor and didn't have enough pesto. My husband had the Japanese pan noodles with the steak. The steak was fine, the bowl had some spice to it but not very much sauce or flavor. Chain as a whole - meh. Okay concept for quick lunch but for the price to portion/quality ratio, I'd probably just go to Panera for a bit more consistency and better value. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat it but would out of convenience. I usually go for the penne rosa or japanese pan noodles with chicken, haven't come here enough to bother being adventurous. This particular location is probably a tad better than the other ones I've eaten at. I came here with my son and both pastas had a mushy texture as if they placed the pasta in the pot before it boiled instead of while water was boiling I was pretty disappointed in our food. I couldn't decide between the Truffle Mac and the Stroganoff. So, I asked the cashier (Joe) to choose for me. He did - and the Truffle Mac was delicious. But, when Joe brought me my food, he also brought me a little gift card for a comp Stroganoff! How sweet is that? Well, a couple of days later... I decide that I'm gonna try out the Stroganoff. I waltz up to the counter and Joe says, "Welcome back, Plenty!" Who does that anymore? I'll tell you who - NOBODY! By the grace of God, I was able to dig up his name, too! Miracle at 930 Church Street... Went back again just a few days ago, and Joe was there - still happy - still helpful. Everyone who works there seems to really enjoy the job AND each other. While I was ordering, one of the employees came in for his shift after being on vacay for a week... I've never seen a group of folks so happy to see each other! It's amazing. Someone is really working hard at creating a magnificent culture over there. I enjoyed my wheat Tuscan noodles and Parmesean-crusted chicken from this visit, too. This is a solid little place that I will return to. Popped in here last week before I schlepped up to the Great White North (a.k.a. my dentist in the northern suburbs) on Metra (the way to really fly). I had a bowl of tomato basil soup, the small bowl, and it was giant! The soup itself was really delicious. Really delicious. In fact, I want to go get a gallon to be snowbound with in the upcoming Arctic storm. Sit in a giant tub of that tomato basil soup, nom nom nom. Wait, that's gross 'cos my butt would be in the soup. Wasn't introduced to noodles and co until I came to college (don't think these exist on the West Coast), and my experience has been okay. I've ordered the Bangkok curry noodles twice, and both times, I literally had like a small handful of noodles and an overload of dry cabbage. Really? I paid good money for old vegetables? Disappointing. However, a few of their other dishes I've tried have been better, but still not amazing. I've also had a time when they brought out the wrong order. Its a chain restaurant, if you have been to a different noodles before, the food is pretty much the same. But Noodles & co. has been my go to place since grad school. 'Fast-food' Italian and Asian joints are not that common, so this is perfect when you are in a hurry but still want one of these cuisines. Personally, I like all the dishes on their menu but my favorites are Penne Rosa, Pesto Cavatappi and the Japanese pan noodles. I love their parmesan crusted chicken- a must add-on to your dish! I really miss their old menu! I used to like this place a lot and introduced some of my friends to it. But then they changed their menu and their taste went down and I don't like going here anymore. Like yeah variety is good, but sometimes I wish places would stick to doing what they do best. Their pastas are under-cooked and have very little sauce, and their Asian dishes (I've lived in Singapore so trust me) are bad! The Japanese noodles are sweet, the Bangkok curry isn't even spicey and their Pad Thai gave me a stomach ache!! The Med Salad hardly has any dressing on it and is one of the worst salads I've ever ever eaten!! And it's usually filled with loud high school kids!! We have a drawer full of menus so I pick up the Noodles & Co one, pick out what I want, and phone it in. By the time I grab my credit card, clock out, and go downstairs to pick it up, the food is ready. As far as taste goes, it's pretty darn good. Usually I get the pad thai at the location in Geneva, which I have always enjoyed. For the first time this past week, I decided to branch out and try the pasta fresca (or whatever it's called). It was really good. Penne pasta, olive oil, white wine (I think), garlic, spinach, onions, your choice of feta or parmesan, and tomatoes...well, two halves of a tomato. My only complaint (besides the lack of tomatoes) is that there was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the container. It didn't taste too oily, but it was pooling at the bottom. Granted, it's an olive oil based dish, but still...a teaspoon or two less would have been perfect. Price: decent. The meals come in two sizes, and I wasn't starving so I opted for a small for $3.95...two dollars less than the regular (I think). If you want meat, it's an additional 2 dollars. The best deal is their trio option, which is a small entree, a side salad or soup, and your choice of protein for $7.95 (I think). Pretty comparable to the prices of other places in the area. For the amount of food you get in a small, it's not the best deal, but the food tastes good so every once in awhile I don't feel bad paying for it. As I was eating it, I realized for $4 I could make the same thing but enough food to feed me for a 4 meals, but I chose to look past that. read more

Ah noodles. I love you, you are the best backup option ever. So I eat the Mediterranean noodles here mostly, but this time I went with my mum and we had the Thai peanut spicy noodles, with chicken. It was amazing, especially cos I love sprouts. The pot stickers were amazing too, always get the larger portion! This place looks out onto a relatively busy street, of course there was no people watching for that day since it was winter. But its fun in the summer. Noodles & Co is one of my favorite chain restaurants. It's got partial waiter service, where you order at the counter, and then someone brings your food out to you, and you don't need to clear your table, but it's still super casual. As the name implies, the entrees are almost all noodle-based, although there are a couple salads, sandwiches, and soups on the menu as well. Most of their menu is static, but some of the noodle and salad dishes rotate out seasonally. I'm a big fan of the truffle mac (seasonal), which is mac and cheese with truffle salt, and the Wisconsin mac and cheese (static), which has three different cheeses. The staff here are polite and friendly, and the dining area is clean. Best of all, they always have Sriracha sauce to cover your food with! If you sign up for their mailing list or like them on Facebook, they'll periodically send you coupons for free food (usually when they're coming out with new seasonal dishes). read more

Sometimes I'm a snob (file under: beer) but sometimes I'm willing to admit that I like a chain. I have liked Noodles & Company for years, since my ole Milwaukee days. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I've visited many a location, too. So believe me when I say that this is a nice location. It's consistent. The employees are nice. It's clean. I've visited this location several times in the past few weeks (it's very close to my office) and every time I get the pesto cavatappi. It's sort of my thing. My jam. I order it with extra mushrooms. This dish is GOOD. They never overcook the pasta. The veggies are fresh and yummy. It's always served piping hot and nicely sauced. I have a friend who hates pesto. If you're like my friend Sarah and hate pesto, don't order this. I don't know what you should order, but don't order this. The only other thing I ever get at Noodles is the pot stickers. (I get them if the last time I was there I got the receipt with the free appetizer if you do the online survey, which of course I do. Because who wouldn't want free pot stickers!) I eat one or two, throw them into a box, and then devour that pesto cavatappi. If they removed that from their menu, I probably wouldn't go back-- well, maybe for a rice krispie treat, which are huge and delicious. read more

3.5 Stars When Noodles & Co. opened in my town of Vienna, VA I avoided it like the plague. I'm anti-chain food plus my sister loves it. She's not bright at all, and her palate isn't refined ("OMG. Ruby Tuesday's!"). I'll give her some credit on Noodles & Co. though. It's a good alternative to fast food. The prices are moderate and there's plenty of vegetarian items. In fact, all of their noodle dishes are meat-free. Organic tofu is available for an extra cost. Their "Get in Touch With Your Moodle" .. um, Moodle Meter is such a gimmick. If you're indecisive, put your hand on the Meter and the color will change according to your mood. Each color suggests a type of noodle dish. A waste of money for the props if you ask me! However, their Moodle Rings are available for purchase and 50 cents of the proceeds goes to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Neat. The food isn't spectacular, but you seriously can not go wrong here. It's healthier than a burger joint, and not as time-consuming or expensive as a traditional sit-down restaurant. Noodles & Co. is great for kids... not that I'm fond of kids in public though. read more

I pretty much love this place. A chain of eateries devoted to my favorite food? Being able to customize said noodles to my liking? Quick service regardless of dine in or take out combined with a 1 minute walk from my house? Love love love! Basically I usually end up here when I am too lazy to cook at home or venture too far to eat out and want to avoid a 60 dollar dinner check. Usually order 2 smalls, pot stickers, and sometimes soup or salad. Recently I have been loving the Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine (with tofu, extra broccoli, extra mushrooms - I love how I can do this, you can also swap around the type of noodle too), but I sometimes throw the Buttered Noodles, Pad Thai, Indonesian Peanut Saute, and Pesto Cavatappi in the mix. I've tried everything on the menu and the only thing I'm not a fan of is the Mushroom Stroganoff (not because it doesn't taste good, but it pales in comparison to the Beef Stroganoff from Lucky Platter). Soups, salad, and delicious chicken pot stickers then if you have room, an enormous sweet and sticky rice crispy treat. Friendly staff, all the fountain drinks/China Mist tea (mmm!) in big plastic cups you can handle. Definitely one of my favorite quick-serve places in town. I probably wouldn't like eating here on a weekend evening, when it turns into a zoo filled with Evanston high school kids and NU eggheads (don't hate, I used to be one too), in which case I just call for pick up. read more

I didn't have high expectation for this place because the menu is just so weird. You'd think it's an asian noodle place but they also have different kinds of pasta. Interesting. I ordered the Bangkok Curry - "Sweet coconut curry, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles, served on cabbage with black sesame seeds" with shrimp. Even though the dish is highly americanized the rice noodle is still good. The combo of veggie in my plate gives it lots of texture that I loved. I think it's because they don't have anything 'out of this world' unique, but everytime I do end up going, I always wonder why I don't come here more often. I've been coming to this location for years, like 10 years. Had a different experience than I've ever had today. Usually it's the exact same. Order food, drink and a rice Krispy (always fine). We sneak the rice Krispy into the theater (shhhhhhh). So it's always the same. Today like I said was different. They were very busy, with some kind of party in the back. No big deal. Ordered food, got a glass of wine, sat outside. My cousin and sister ordered pad Thai. They both said it was horribly (yep, that word) bland and the chicken was rubbery. Well, being an adult I went up to the counter and asked if we could get more sauce and perhaps some siracha. The guy working there took the food back to the kitchen and said he'd bring it back out. They did, the food was untouched but they gave us some sauce on the side, which worked out better. It instantly made the food better, however the chicken was still rubbery. An employee who was sitting by us having a break walked in and walked back out to us with extra shrimp (she thought she overheard we were having bad shrimp) and free noodle bowl coupons. She wasn't even on the clock! So- pros- Good customer service Rice Krispy treats There was a problem- the wine glasses were filthy. Not dirty, they had been through the wash, but they were really spotty. Sorry it's a pet peeve of mine- especially since I paid $6 for a small glass.
