Have been ordering there a couple times a month ever since they opened…read more Stoped there Friday January 23 rd and order the steak stroganoff. When we got home we found that steak very tough and they hadn't put the sherry cream sauce. So in essence all I got was dry noodles and tough steak. We returned on Saturday because are grandson was spending the night and wanted their Mac and Cheese. We were told it would be 15 minutes before we could order. 20 minutes later we were told it would be another 5 minutes. About 5 minutes later we were told it would be another 15 minutes because they were slammed with online orders. I asked why they got priority over us and was told I would have to talk to the manager. The manger looked at us but just continue to go about making meals. We left 15 later never speaking with the manger. We went to the noodles in Neenah , about 10 miles away and were in and out in exact 12 minutes. When I want my noodles fix I will go to Neenah. Food was order was complete with the right ingredients and the customer service was very good Mike Brooks

The manager, Ryan, was very welcoming, got our food out super fast, and also was quick to replenish toilet paper in the bathroom when we told him it ran out. The food was delicious and the smalls are really a perfect size for a meal (even a regular one!). The floors were a little dirty with some food and debris, but the bathroom was clean and smelled nice! I would return here!

They had the weather channel and The Big Bang Theory playing on the t.v.'s which was a weird vibe for a night out. I get that it's a hotel restaurant but really? The bathrooms were wildly out of stock and in stock of handsoap and paper towels? Like they had dispensers but everything you needed to use was just propped on the counter top (couple of random soap bottles and a pile of half wet paper towels) and all the dispensers were empty? Why have soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers if you aren't going to refill them? Service: When we arrived it was a ghost town in here at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday night. There was one guy sitting at a table by himself and no one else in the dining area for over 10 minutes. Finally a bartender appeared. She informed us they had no beer on tap which was a let down. She was as quick as she could be with everything. When we came in there was 1 other person in the whole place, by the time we were signing the bill there was 20 people in here and she was the only person working. WILD. I felt awful for her, shame on management for having only a singular BARTENDER staffing the entire restaurant by herself on a Friday night. As not only the bartender, but the waitress, food runner, and busser. Seriously ridiculous. She did manage to provide good service despite how slammed she was, give that girl a raise. Food: Everything we ordered we were happy with (we ordered two apps and two entrees)! The standouts were the burger and the confit chicken salad. I really want to come back and try more items on the menu. If this review as just based on the food I'd give it 5 stars. Due to the lack of management oversight of employees on staff and the bathroom situation it is 3 since there is room for improvement.

That was not the case here--the team was friendly and welcoming. The drinks were good and the food was well prepared. The standout were the Tater Kegs--stuffed, jumbo tater tots with beer cheese. Deliciously crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The other dish that impressed us was the Door County Cherry Walnut Salad--a good balance of sweet, salty, and bitter and a good counter to all the fried things we were eating! The restaurant is a hotel restaurant, so don't expect anything remarkable for atmosphere, but all in all, The Forge is a solid place to eat.
