We ordered several dishes, including basmati rice, garlic naan or cilantro naan, a creamy orange curry that tasted like butter chicken or chicken tikka masala, a rich darker curry that tasted like lamb curry or goat curry, Indian fried rice, gulab jamun for dessert, and what looked like mango lassi or another mango drink. Every dish tasted delicious. The naan was fresh, the curries were rich and comforting, and the Indian fried rice had a unique taste with plenty of ingredients. The portions were generous, especially the rice and naan, so we could not finish all the carbs, but taste-wise everything was outstanding. The gulab jamun was a nice sweet finish to the meal. I especially enjoyed taking the leftovers home because the flavors were still very good later. The ambience is simple and comfortable, but for me the food matters most, and this place delivered where it counts. The service also made the experience even better. The gentlemen here were, as always, very kind and inviting. While we dined, I listened to them talk to customers and I was touched by how much care is put into each conversation. The sincerity of the men here is also what makes this a great restaurant. They get to know their customers, they share with them in their experience of top quality, handcrafted dishes.
