My first time at an Olive Garden. All the servers were nice and cordial. The food was pleasant if a little mundane- definitely filling though. Unfortunately, we were unaware there was a $3 charge for the table games as my child didn't notice so that was surprising. We asked for extra sauce and weren't aware that would be an extra $4.99 either. Our server was extremely understanding and gracious and helped us with these charges. I usually don't leave reviews, but this time I felt compelled to share my incredible experience at the local on Castleloma. My three-year-old son is incredibly energetic and loves to destroy everything in his path. Despite his antics, I've had wonderful experiences dining here with my family. The staff has always been respectful, kind, and accommodating, especially when it comes to my son. Their understanding and patience are truly commendable. The service at the local on Castleloma is consistently excellent. I genuinely believe it's the best Olive Garden I've ever been to. It's also one of the most visually appealing restaurants I've visited. Got the pasta Fresca it's was a very sad bowl of pasta. It had 3 spinach leaves two small tomatoes and 4 slivers of onion in there. Could barely taste the balsamic flavor. The customer service was amazing everyone was nice and the food was made quick that's why I gave the 2 stars. I should also point out I have had this dish at the Neenah location and it was absolutely fantastic maybe I just got spoiled but they could learn something from this location. read more

Ok, it's Olive Garden. There are a few things you expect and generally get and there are a few things you would like to see but is sadly lacking. Service was good especially considering I did my standard, pull into restaurant 1 hour before closing routine, not intentionally but a man's got to make a living! The waitress got me in and did a good job over all. The food was standard Olive Garden, which is to say good enough but man I wish it was better... and they got rid of the cheesecake I loved. Food quality was well just ok. Everything is clearly processed Italianish, but any Italian grandmother would walk away. Breadsticks were good, salad was manageable and raviolis were edible but something of an affront to Italy. Make these on site and fresh everyday and you will increase the quality 1000%! Most of the time it's very good, not today. I would say make sure your waitresses know enough to fill the soup bowl to the inner rim rather than 2 inches below it. The last waitress I had seemed to assume that my being alone meant I would eat like a bird, and it was just inconvenient for me to wait for her to return and refill the soup bowl once because she underfilled it to begin with. All of that reflected in a lower tip amount for her if she was wondering why. read more

The service was wonderful, our server Tony was so polite and very helpful toward us, he helped us navigate the menu and find the best meal to order! He consistently refilled our breadsticks, soup, salad, and drinks. Not once did we feel that we were waiting for him to serve us nor did we feel smothered with his presence. Olive Garden is Olive Garden. I love their salad and breadsticks, but everything else is ok. It's super unhealthy. However, I used to come to this Olive Garden with my Grandma when I would visit. They have reasonable prices and lunch specials, so it was an obvious choice. My go to? Usually either the soup, salad and breadsticks or the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Service was excellent but gotta say that there is nothing Italian about Olive Garden. Sauce straight from a can. Even had a metallic taste to it. Salad was wilted and turning brown. Very sad. A third of the pasta was dry. Not enough sauce or mushrooms. The other dish was chicken and shrimp in a red bell pepper sauce. While my family and I enjoy Olive Garden this particular restaurant needs work .. especially in their service besides waiting over 15 minutes for a server during the 2pm -4pm time frame (a time that normally is slow due to after lunch) the service staff not only didn't acknowledge us after we were seated but once we were seated our the servers apron was dirty we also noticed many tables and booths which weren't bussed. Despite that we ordered and was not impressed with how little the server knew about any of the products . It was obvious this was an inexperienced younger staff . By the time we received our order we had been there 30 minutes and the bread and the pasta was served cold. The dark dim lighting tone to this place also did t help out visit. My recommend would be for you to save your money and go somewhere else OR try Oshkosh or GreenBay . read more

Olive Garden is always consistent in the quality of their food. The Appleton store is undergoing some renovation and it is looking good. I also understand there are some menu item changes, always good to try new and different foods. The endless breadsticks and salad/soup are a good compliment to the main course. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, a personal favourite and the meatballs have good texture and taste, the noodles are, well, noodles and the sauce is just the right flavour. I like that they bring the water (with a lemon of course) in a real glass, not plastic, it tastes so much better, plus it looks fancier! I didn't have the desert with this meal but did previously. Regardless of how the food tasted I refuse to ever eat at this location again solely because of what I witnessed. It is unacceptable to treat people that way let alone high school age children. I've never been crazy about the meals I've had at olive gardens, typically I have had dishes that taste plain and yet seem to cost twice as much as I thought they should. However, tonight I tried the eggplant parmigiana and it was so delicious! I was blown away. The breading was crispy, the cheese was melted and flavorful, and the tomato sauce was very fresh and I loved the chunks of actual tomato they use. Ultimately, coming here is hit or miss for me, but this meal was fairly priced and something I will definitely order again. If you're like me and have been unimpressed in the past, I suggest trying something new and maybe you'll change your mind about this place. read more

When we first got there, we were seated quickly but when we sat down there were 3 dirty glasses at our table. Our server was rude and didn't explain the menu at all and then made me feel like a total idiot when I was confused... When I got my plate for bread, it had dirty food marks on it. The salad had barely any dressing on it and was very dry. When we got our meals the server was once again rude and the food was very mediocre. I got the ravioli and the shell was yellow, undercooked, and hard to cut through. My mom and grandma's food was dry and underwhelming.
