This is a go to spot, especially on Tuesdays when kids eat free (one with each adult entree purchase). The service is solid. They have a pretty large crew, so food comes out hot and fast. I do enjoy coming here for the variety of different noodle dishes. I love that they have plenty of options to choose from. Today, I opted for the roasted garlic cream tortellini and added grilled chicken. I had no complaints about the dish. While ordering, the staff let us know that kids eat free today, and since we happened to have a baby with us, they still honored it even though the baby can't eat yet. I thought that was very thoughtful and kind of the staff to mention. I will say that every time I come here, the cost seems to keep going up. Two entrées came to $34. read more

I haven't been to noodles and co in about ten years and wow, it sure has changed. I've heard it's not the same, but whew, ouch. This location specifically is just deteriorating. Some things I noticed...They no longer serve for here items in dishes. Portions are much and I mean, muuuch smaller. We ordered three regular dishes and all filled the bowls about half way. "Cooks" no longer appear to sear anything - basically all items were warmed up. Veggies not cooked through, spinach wasn't even wilted. The Parmesan chicken used to be so bomb, now it's flat and tasteless. More veggies than noodles which doesn't even make sense financially. Everything at this location seemed so dirty - from the windows, to sills, to benches. Outdated and dirty. Pads don't even fit the seats, old Velcro sticking out. Terrible sewage smell coming from area by bathroom, we actually changed seats to sit further away. Two stars for employees who appear to attempt to make this place enjoyable. Unless noodles does a major rebrand I think I'll skip and continue to remember it more as the nostalgic place as it was back in the day. read more

I love Noodles and Company Food. But.. they don't use gloves handling the food and using their phones. The dining is not very clean and the bathrooms are gross! The dining area and bathrooms can tell a lot about the restraunts cleanliness. The good tonight was not great. I asked for Pot Stickers browned like they use to and Nope, Buttered Noodles Extra seasoning barely any and the Spicy Rosa no mushrooms or chicken with tortellini they gave me a spinach salad in it. I went to visit my son who moved to Omaha from AZ and was cooking him and his roommates home cooked meals every night. I loved doing it, but I finally decided I was on vacation so it was my time to buy them dinner instead and chill with some Netflix. We ordered from this location and I was hooked! I ended up ordering lunch from there while they all worked the next day. De-li-cious! And the portions were perfect! I even had leftovers. There's a Noodles & Co 2 miles from me in Goodyear, AZ so I ordered when I got back, but no comparison. They don't even carry zucchini noodles. And for being in the SW, I was disappointed with the spiciness of the chipotle here. It was perfect in Omaha! I would give it more stars, but there's only 5. No problem with the food, the quality was fine. However, I ordered a small bowl, which seems to be about half the size of what a small bowl order used to be. It is what it is, everyone is downsizing their portions, I guess. However, the real issue was the sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. It made the entire restaurant so smelly that I was getting queasy while waiting for my food, and I work in healthcare, so I have a very strong stomach! It was probably the worst smell I've ever encountered in an open, functional restaurant. Then I looked at reviews and I see issues with a sewage smell going back 7 years! I was in the area and needed a quick take out dinner and thought I would give it a try. I had it before at this location but it had been a few years. I got the chicken Parmesan and my husband got chicken Alfredo. Visually the food looked awesome and then I realized how small the portion was for the chicken parm and thought it was over priced for what I got. I tipped and the total was $37.00. The noodles were fine but the chicken was terrible. It was hard and chewy, like gritty in a way. I didn't eat most of the chicken. I got the cheesy bread too which was pretty good. We were really disappointed with our meals. I remember there being a noodles restaurant on 171st and center near Dairy Queen many years ago and it was so good, they had more options, and larger servings. Today was the first day I'd ever gone to a noodles and company. The experience itself was... average. Just what you'd expect. The food on the other hand was amazing except for the fact that after a while it felt repetitive and plain. I don't blame that part on the makers of the food, but if I went again I wouldn't order the same thing because it would be to boring for anyone to have twice. This location was clean and the employees where nice. I would come again, but it's nothing special. Noodles and Co used to be one of our favorites back when we lived in Washington State. However, the last couple visits we've had has been a MAJOR LETDOWN. The food quality has been significantly lower, the portions seem smaller, the prices seem higher, etc... On this last particular visit to the restaurant...it was equally disappointing. First off, I ordered a regular size Japanese Pan Noodle and when it came out it looked like the portion of a small. So low. My 5 y/o got a kids meal and his side of pineapple literally had 5 pieces in it. He had to use the restroom in this visit and the restroom was disgusting! Smelled horrible, floor was sticky and I spent a good 4 minutes cleaning the toilet before allowing him to sit down. To top it all off, my wife was eating her salad and was about to take a bite when she find A HAIR in her food...and not one of hers. The only good thing about that was that they promptly refunded us for the salad! Needless to say my wife lost her appetite. Noodles, you used to be great, but I'm pretty sure this is our last visit. This was my first and potentially last visit to a Noodles & Co. My mom and I ordered the bbq pork mac, spaghetti & meatballs and cheese bread. The first thing I noticed was that the noodles were underdone on the spaghetti. Not to big of a deal but odd considering a middle place should know how to cook a noodle properly. Second thing I noticed was that I'm pretty sure the meatballs come out of a bag. If not then they are run through a food processor for way too long, leaving an oddly smooth texture. Flavor was okay. The bbq pork mac though... the fiesta issue came on the first bite. I was expecting the pork to be dressed in the bbq sauce. It was not. The bbq sauce was drizzled over the pasta but the sauce was ice cold right out of the fridge. So not only did they put ice cold bbq sauce on the hot pasta but they also put ice cold, un-melted shredded cheese on the pasta. Just a few small changes could make that dish amazing! The cheese bread was delicious! All in all, for $30 I was pretty disappointed and most likely will not return. read more

This place seems like a decent spot to grab lunch if you're in a hurry. Our food came out super fast--within 5 minutes of ordering. I ordered the mac & cheese with a side salad. I actually liked the taste of the mac & cheese, even though it might have been a little under cooked (I tend to like my noodles al dente). My side salad was drenched in dressing so I'd opt ask for dressing on the side next time. My coworker ordered the pad thai and she didn't love it. I was really worried when I read the previous reviews. I had a wonderful experience. Mike is the counter cashier worker. He greeted me first with a nice smile and was very helpful with the menu. Gave me honest polite opinions that helped me feel better about my decision to eat there. Gave me a nice recommendation to try the Mac n cheese, which I added as a side. Overall great service start to finish. I looked around the store. It was clean, not too packed. Plenty of tables and booths to sit and eat. Only one table had some dirty bowls left on it. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No... but I like it a lot better than other "quick" pasta places. I love that I can change up my proteins (tofu instead of steak, etc). I also like how they aren't afraid to experiment with different flavors, like how they're branching out with a Korean inspired beef bowl. So, I can come here for my comfort Mac and cheese, or I can experiment with something different, and it doesn't cost an arm or leg. I've never experienced any problems at this location, other than it sometimes being a little slow because they're crazy busy. Not a big deal. I'm a big fan of Noodles and Company. I especially appreciate their gluten-free options and the willingness to generously fix mistakes when they happen. The rewards program is nice, too, as it doesn't take forever to accrue freebies. While I usually go to the one closest to where I live, this one perfectly suited our needs this visit since it is close to where we needed to do a bunch of shopping. L Street Marketplace has a really nice variety of stores and eating options, all conveniently in one place. The outside dining and gluten-free menu items make this a really good choice for food, though. A couple of other eateries here have a few chairs out on the sidewalk, but Noodles and Company has nice tables with umbrellas. This certainly is not haute cuisine, but it's consistently good for a quick, tasty meal. read more

After trying the Past Fresca at the Taste of Omaha, my wife insisted on going to the actual restaurant. We finally got a chance to stop out there for lunch today. As expected, the line was somewhat long since it was just after noon. Fortunately, it moved quickly. In all, it took maybe 15 minutes from the time we arrived until we received our food. We both ordered the Past Fresca (Penne with balsamic, olive oil, white wine and roasted garlic, red onion, tomato, spinach, and parmesan). I initially considered the macaroni and cheese but changed my mind at the last minute. While it was tasy, it wasn't the most flavorful pasta dish that I've ever eaten. That said, it ain't bad for $7. It's a good alternative for lunch especially in a world of burger joints, pizza, mexican, sandwiches, etc. I'll likely go back to try their # 1 selling dish, the mac n' cheese. The penne sauce was so bland I poured the potsticker Korean spicy sauce on top just to liven it up. The shrimp were scarce. Maybe 3 total. The potstickers looked like they had been run over and flattened with an army tank. Honestly, the warm baguette with butter was hands down the best thing. I rarely go here and every time I do go I am reminded why I won't be back for long time. I can find much better, flavorful and bountiful food options for under $10.00 at many other places. I usually like this place but I am basing this review off the last time I was at this location. I ordered the Alfredo MontAmore which is usually fantastic. Nope not this time. The noodles were stuck together and were overcooked. It only had a couple pieces of chicken ( not near as many as usual ) , and the veggies were sparse. They did not even put any mushrooms in it which was a disappoint. Maybe someone new was back there, maybe they were having a bad day, but for the price I want my food to be proper. Since I ordered this to go I did not want to waste my time going back, If I was dining it they would of sure heard about it. The staff is friendly enough though at the counter hence the 3 stars. I really think they need kids sizes ( not just small , but a "children's menu" ) . I will give it another try but I don't think I would order that anymore.
