I love how clear the menu is and how easy it is to navigate as someone dietary restrictions. All of the vegetarian meals are very clearly labeled. There are also lots of options to customize noodles or add proteins. My husband swapped for zoodles (zucchini noodles) and they confirmed if it was an allergen or preference. I got the Japanese Pan Noodles and they were pretty good. Noodles had a nice chewy texture and the broccoli was fresh and crisp! The music playing inside was absolutely all over the place ranging from every genre which was a unique experience. My favorites to get are: -Pesto Cavatappi with grilled chicken -Penne Rosa (no protein needed, it's so flavorful) -Roasted Garlic Cream Tortellini with meatballs (remove mushrooms, zucchini, and spinach and sub in broccoli and roasted corn) Now all of the menu items I've mentioned are on the pricier side for pasta (because most have a protein added). But they do have a value menu they introduced recently with more basic pasta dishes like mac and cheese, buttered noodles, and spaghetti with marinara (no meat in sauce). They also offer lower priced, smaller sizes on most of their dishes, if that's interests you. The "small" size of the Roasted Garlic Cream Tortellini was too much for me to finish. Bad experience! Ordered through the app, scheduled ready 30+ minutes away at 8pm. At that time, food wasn't ready but counter employee told me it would be 5min. 25 min later, I'm still waiting staring at the same guy when a different person asks me if I've been helped, only to tell me my order had been ready since 8pm!! I get the food and leave, only to realize only half of the order was in the bag. I head back in and the second guy half-apologizes and gives me the order. I have enjoyed noodles for a long time and had frequent rewards before moving to Omaha, but they are pretty clueless at this location and have no empathy for their Customers. We ordered Door Dash- stroganoff for Bookguy and med salad for me plus a snickerdoodle cookie. My salad was not supposed to have meat in it, but it did. I ate it anyway and it was good despite the chicken pieces which the dogs enjoyed. Bookguy was really pleased that they brought the stroganoff back on the menu. We had stopped going there when they discontinued his fav. I tried a couple of bites and thought it was tasty. So the next night we decided to go back in person and check it out. I was hoping to find something that sounded good that wasn't overloaded with sodium. Unfortunately, there was nothing healthy at all in terms of sodium. I think the least amount I found was1400 grams of salt, way too much. Bookguy and I both ordered the stroganoff this time, and it was a tasty as before. I was surprised that the med salad had more sodium than the stroganoff. I ate about half of mine to keep the salt level down. One of us will have the rest tomorrow. We also got the cookie that was missing with last night's order. Bookguy will be coming back as long as the stroganoff is on the menu. The menu is set up a little bit awkwardly, at least it felt weird to me. The selections and combinations are interesting and well thought out. I appreciated that you could pick from creative Mac and cheese, or a classic Alfredo bowl, or get something like truffle oil and zucchini noodles. I think there were good options here for a while variety of personalities and dietary needs. The line was short, service was fast and friendly, and the whole dining area (inside and outside) seemed clean. For the past 6 years or so, I never considered coming into Noodles & Co. If I was willing to brave this travesty of a parking lot during mealtimes it was always for burritos or coffee in the past. But now I think I'll have to add 'healthy takeout noodles, sandwiches or salads' to that list of things that would make me fight this parking monster because I was darn impressed with N&Co. Of course, the complimentary tasting tour a friend set up had me hooked from the beginning, but the most suprising thing about the food was the freshness. Noodles cooked up daily, fresh flavorful sauteed vegetables, seared and sizzing proteins, and belly-warming soups (not to mention dulce de leche cakes with mmmmm-mmm sliced strawberry garnish) were all on par with the food I'd expect to be eating in a bistro restaurant - um, truffle mac & cheese with portabella mushrooms anyone? Lord, please give me the strength to finish this noodly mess of a dish I was served. Went into Noodles & Company during lunch hour because I needed a quick bite and there was no line. The lack of a line during peak lunch hours should have been my first hint that something was not quite right. I got the Spicy Korean Beef Noodles. The food was out quick, and I was on my way. So I guess I got what I wanted in that regard. Then I did the ONE thing I should have not done if I wanted to stay happy with my takeout: I ate it. Oh. My. Sweet. Loving. Jesus. I am not exaggerating when I say I have had partially frozen microwave dinners that were better than this. The noodles tasted horrible, like they were mass-produced and boiled in a factory and then finally microwaved in the store. The beef was horrid: dry chunks covered in a gross sauce with an off-putting smell. If I had picked out the beef and put it in my dog's bowl, he probably would have sniffed it and then given me one of those quizzical looks dogs do when they're seriously wondering if you expect them to eat something. We ordered from DoorDash and was super excited to try their food out. We ordered the Wisconsin Mac and cheese and the cream tortellini. Both fell short, hard. The mac and cheese was undercooked and there was spaghetti noodles with it? Interesting. The tortellini was overly salty and the meatballs I ordered with it, dry and also very salty. And also slices of cucumbers with it, which, correct me if I'm wrong, are not listed in the ingredients. I'm a fan of cucumbers, however, are the cooks proceeding with food and safety caution? I hadn't been to noodles & co for quite a while and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the menu has changed. They now offer tofu as a protein! I ordered the pad thai, and it was fantastic. The flavor was awesome, and the tofu was very firm and cooked perfectly. I've been here several times over the years and have always had a decent meal at a reasonable price. On my most recent visit, I tried one of their new Buff Bowls. My Japanese Pan had steak (a little spongy in texture, weird), broccoli, carrots, shrooms and sprouts atop a bed of spinach. Apparently this had less than 400 calories and up to 31g of protein. I've gone back and forth over giving these guys 1 or 2 stars, but I'm settling with 2 just because some of the employees care about their customers and in the past 3 years most of my experiences here were okay, but let me explain. When I first moved to Omaha 3 or so years ago this was one of the first places my friends brought me. It was a cheap, quick, and seemingly healthy meal so I was all for it. A little high in salt but the flavor has been good. I also appreciated that they were accommodating to people with allergies. This was the case for the first year UNTIL I had an issue that made me pretty sick. One of the employees did not follow their allergy awareness guidelines, put mushrooms in my food (what i'm allergic to) and nearly killed me. I send in a complaint & the general manager at the time talked to me on the phone and we sorted it out. I got 3 free meal tickets and he apologized. I was happy with this however still too paranoid to go back so I gave this to my husband to use. Well skip to a year later and I decided to give them another chance, which for me is like a miracle in and of itself. I was very cautious and checked my food and it was okay and since then no issues with mushrooms in the food. My relationship with N&C was great until about 3 months ago when It seemed new employees ( I assume?) weren't making the food right, and it was always the same issue. The noodles were gummy and tasted like rubber bands. I would also occasionally get under cooked broccoli but I was more concerned with the noodles being edible. I would get my money back for my meal and eat somewhere else but I always went back hoping it would improve. At this point I'm rarely going to N&C because it's a pain in the butt to order food then have to go somewhere else to eat, however the manager was always nice. It seemed that 1 out of ever 3 orders at this point was bad and inedible. Then I made the mistake of ordering to go, I thought it was innocent as my last 6 orders had gone smoothly. I get home and same thing except this time my noodles were burned and over cooked. Even with hot sauce the food was not good and I ended up tossing it and just not eating dinner. I called the store up right after and the manager, again very nice, apoligized and admitted he cooked the food so he felt bad. He put me "in the book" and told me next time I came in I could get my meal for free. Seemed fair since it was a waste of 9 dollars. Now we skip to 9/26/2014 when I go into N&C half past 4. The lady at the counter took my order and due to my allergies went over it with me and everything was fine. I ordered a Japanese pan regular chicken breast, no mushrooms sub onion add cabbage. With chicken noodle. Pretty much what I always order except the added cabbage. The noodles happily were delicious and not over or under cooked except half the veggies in my order were missing, no broccoli or carrots as it comes with in the menu. I went up to the counter and told them I didn't have all my veggies so they said they'd cook them and bring them out. No more than 2 minutes later the arrived and were not edible. They were drowning in soy sauce, broccoli was soggy, carrots were still raw. I was then approached by a man I had never met before who claimed to be the general manager. I did not catch his name. He asked what was wrong (in a very irritated manor) and I explained to him I didn't get my veggies and that I also thought the chicken was dry but I had never had it before so maybe I just didn't like it. He then proceeded to basically go off on me telling me I am too picky for them, have had too many issues with them not cooking my food properly and THEN told me that he was instructed by his manager to ask me not to come back anymore. I was/am absolutely offended at this point. At this point it turned into a big scene of him and I arguing because he was blaming me for his employees not cooking my food properly, and I was not the only person to experience this issue my motherinlaw as well as my husband have had the same issues. He also somehow blamed me for not recieving all the veggies in my food? He lacked any logic whatsoever and dodged just about every question I asked him. He refunded my money from the other day minus a couple bucks which at this point I wasn't going to argue with him and basically told me to leave. I have never had an experience like this and my husband and I cannot believe this happened. This guy made a fool out of himself and me and put a very bad image of N&C to everyone in the place eating. People walked out and turned around which good on them. Not to mention you don't tell someone their "standards are too high". Honestly I've thought about contacting someone at the N&C headquarters but honestly some two bit rate noodle bowls aren't worth my effort. I enjoyed my N&C and probably had 200 successful orders prior to the 6-7 that ruined it for me but according to gm guy I am "never happy" so I will just leave now. read more

Didn't go back anytime soon, because the service was horrible. Came back just the other day, and told them about my free meal, and they looked at me like I was a straight up alien. I enjoy the ability to order a wide variety of pasta at this restaurant chain. Some are Italian themed, others Asian, as well as other themes. Order at the counter and the food is brought out to your table. A beverage counter offers complimentary soft drink refills. The food tastes made to order and has very good flavor. The udon noodles were well cooked and the steak was tasty as well, but I thought the sauce was a little too salty and strong for my taste. The flavor of the sauce didn't seem to get absorbed by the noodles, so the dish just tasted off. Despite being somewhat disappointed by this dish, I really enjoyed their chicken noodle soup! The restaurant environment is also nice. The parking lot got pretty full at lunch time, so it took us a while to find a spot. Otherwise, it's a pleasant place to hang out with others! read more

Went in, ordered a meal with a drink, paid $15. Not surprising, they were out of every diet soda; I'm diabetic so I can't drink regular. I walked to my friend who was ordering, gave her my drink and told the lady that they were all out of diet sodas, she said, "we got diet soda." But given the experience I had with her ten minutes prior I figured it wasn't going to happen and gave my drink to my friend. Ten minutes later, the manager comes up to our table and says you can't use drinks from prior visits and fill them up and told us we had to pay for it. I don't know why I'd even try Pad Thai here, when Laos Market is in town, but i love Pad Thai and had to give it a shot. My girlfriend had the mac and cheese with chicken breast (again flimsy and small). Here is their idea of this American classic: Drop some plain noodles in a bowl, sprinkle cheese on top, and microwave it. Yuck. Once you got through the top layer of cheese, there was just a bowl full of watery, non-cheesy noodles. Ridiculous. The dumplings were good, that's about all I can say that was good for them.
