    LanZhou Noodle Soup

Service - 5/5 Food - 4.5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Parking 5/5 Restroom 5/5 My first time at Noodles and Dumplings and I am impressed. I came early on a Friday and sat in a booth. The servers were very attentive but not overly so. I was asked for my drink order and I asked if they had hot tea. I was given the choice of green or jasmine tea and I went with green tea. After contemplating the menu, I decided on the lan zhou noodles. I asked the server what the difference between the lan zhou and beef noodle soup were and he said the lan zhou beef was thinly sliced whereas the beef in the beef noodles were more of a chunk. I also ordered the dumpling appetizer and the egg tarts to go. The lan zhou noodles came out quickly. Nicely put together with hand pulled noodles, a few pieces of thinly slice beef, some broccoli, turnip slices and clear broth. This was definitely hand pulled noodles from the different thickness of the noodles. Amazing and so very tasty and filling! The dumpling appetizer was also expertly made and it was nice to be able to try most of their dumplings in one order. I normally don't eat chili sauce but this sauce went with the dumplings. The 0.5 star deduction was for the egg tarts. I'm spoiled coming from the Bay Area where there are amazing egg tarts in San Francisco and Oakland Chinatowns. The ones here tasted like they could have been frozen and reheated. Not enough egg custard and the crust could have been flaky. All that being said, I've been raving about this place now that I'm in California. I'll definitely be heading back there the next time I visit my bestie again!

Food is good, a bit on the salty side, but the service is excellent. Now, the difference between a great restaurant and a good one is that all of the food be brought out at the same time. The only way to ensure that is for the chef to time it so. We had two meals served, and the third took a very long time, which became a bit of an annoyance.

Wow!!! This place has upped their game! Came here way back in the day and it was ok, but tonight it truly deserves a 5 star rating. The entire place got a makeover, the servers are great and the food was on point. My husband ordered the shrimp fried noodles and I had the Chicken Ramen - the food was excellent-highly recommend! Enjoy!

So today I am feeling a little under the weather we have been having horrible dust and sandstorms and the wind has been terrible. I'm sure I got a big snootful of sand up my nose and now I have a little cough and a small fever so soup is on the menu and they deliver! So I am in my jammies curled up with Luciano, having my soup, what could be better?

We came here in xmas day because we r on a road trip and everything else is closed. We are little hesitant in the beginning since we came from a city with a ton of authentic Chinese food so we were scared that we would have a bad experience. However, the food was surprisingly delicious and we are super happy with the dishes we got. 1. Braised beef noodle soup: it was tender, and flavorful. The noodle is a little tough and chewy I hope we could customize the softness and shape. 2. Lanzhou beef noodle soup: I ordered the non spicy version since the table has the jar of exact spicy oil they put in the spicy version. This way i could customize how much I can add. The spicy oil is very good!! 3. Pan fried pork scallion dumplings : ok I gotta say this is better than a lot of pork scallion dumplings I have eaten in my life, the sauce is amazing, the bottom crisp is amazing. Thanks for the authentic food. There was some hiccups but they handled it professionally too. The place is bright and spacious.

Very authentic Chinese style restaurant. I love how you can see the chefs at work. Our waitress was super friendly. We had a group or 6 and the food was great. Especially the cream cheese wontons!

I loved that the first thing you see when you walk in are chefs stretching the homemade noodle dough. It was fun! We were seated quickly in the center of the well-lit space. We ordered veggie bao, orange chicken with fried rice, and a chicken noodle stir fry. Everything was fresh and delicious! My parents were also there, and they ordered Mongolian chicken on noodles and veggie stir fried noodles. We did have to wait a bit to have our check picked up, but overall, a good experience! So glad local businesses are popping up in El Paso more regularly!

Let me start out with how AMAZING the food was! Truly authentic Chinese food. The service was good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was it wasn't very clean. Flies everywhere and when we went to sit literally 3 tables hadn't been cleaned still even tho it wasn't very busy. Got a stain on my shirt from the table having food on the side where it hasn't been cleaned.

Service: 4/5: our waitress was friendly and was able to answer some questions we had about the menu Food: 4/5: not the best baos Ive had, but they were definitely tasty. The general tsao chicken was good but spicy. I struggled a bit with the spice. Price: 4/5: At first it seems a little overpriced but the portions are pretty large. I would recommend to make this a shareable type of experience. Overall was satisfied and would come back.

I came in with my family of 8 for lunch and was seated right away. There was a misunderstanding with the waitress and we weren't brought what we ordered but the experience was overall good. The food tasted great and we loved that you can watch them preparing the food. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend and would return.

Do entrees already come with rice?

None of the entrees come with rice. You have to ask for a side of rice of noodles separate at additional cost.

    Is this place Vegan Friendly?

I know they have vegetarian dishes. There is a distinction between vegan and vegetarian which I cannot explain- all I know is that they do have dishes with only veggies. Hope this helps!

    What hours are they open?

We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball.
