First off, the beef had excellent flavor. Was expecting a warm dish but it was served cold and for the hot weather, this was a better option. The General Tsao Chicken was crunchy but it was average. If something could be done better, wish the chilies were toasted or fried. They were very chewy the way they came. Egg fried rice was average but was a better option than plain white rice. Wow what are the bad reviews about? Noodles and Dumplings is pretty much the ONLY authentic Szechuan Chinese in all of El Paso. And their noodles are handmade, which is a luxury these days. Can be a tad bit heavy, but hey this is El Paso. They serve bok choi, woodear mushrooms, five spice beef, cabbage and twice cooked pork, and sour mustard fish stew which are all things real Chinese families eat. (The Szechuan spicy fish is killer!) Beef noodle soup and pork "shiao long bao" flavors are 100% on point. The main server at this location has great customer service skills. They do sometimes forget things when you order online but they fix it immediately, probably a tech issue. At the other location if you go with kiddos when they are slow, the chefs will give your kids dumpling/noodle dough to play with. read more

Came to eat here and there was mold in the dumplings we ordered. Tried getting it off my bill but the man kept going back and fourth with me and brought us a plate of cream cheese wontons in which i declined multiple times as i was extremely grossed out. Unfortunately, we were told we still had to cover the bill. I am not sure how they passed their health inspection. There was also white stuff in the water so not sure what that was. While we were there, another group of girls were complaining that the pork dumplings were still raw and refused to eat them as well but they were also forced to pay the bill. Please be careful when you eat here, i have been to all other locations and I have never had this issue. Not one to complain but this is a severe health issue. read more

Charming little noodle/dumpling house. The exterior is unassuming, nestled in a tiny strip mall. The interior is decorated pretty modern with pictures of the food on the wall and classic Asian decorations (lanterns, good luck symbols, etc). The service was friendly and very attentive! We ordered bbq pork steamed bao which were fresh, hot and filled with delicious Chinese flavored bbq pork. We also ordered the chive pancakes, nothing to phone in about, but light, airy and very flaky. My husband got the steamed pork and scallion dumplings. Those were very tasty! You can tell they're handmade because they're not particularly uniform. The filling was juicy and delicious with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. I ordered Kung Pao tofu over the hand pulled noodles. The tofu was crispy and delightful. The sauce was a little spicy with fresh, slightly crispy vegetables. The hand pulled noodles were the perfect vehicle for the sauce of the Kung Pao!! The noodles were the star of the show! They bouncy, chewy and soaked up all that flavor! Tips: it's BYOB if you'd like to drink with your meal. The flavor was good but the filling was sparse and needed more. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and was not a fan. The noodles are homemade. I was not a fan of the texture. I went in for noodles and meat combo but due to me saying something about the fried rice I got fried rice instead of the noodles. It was not all that great with the fried rice. The food was the BEST Asian food I've had in a long time. The general tsao was actually a little spicy! I absolutely loved it. (Usually most places barely have any spice to it) the service was super friendly, and fast! The place was really cute too. I am not much of a dumpling person and very picky on the noodles but I finally tried this place out. The ambiance was cute, clean and fresh. We were the only ones there so I had my doubts. I especially loved the 90's hits on the TV. The service was not so cheerful but attentive for sure. We had the cheese Bao as an appetizer which was good, toasty and warm. I mean what's not to like about bread and cheese right? We also tried a Garlic Chicken Noodle bowl - the noodles are almost like Spaghetti! I had no idea. They were okay but remember I am very picky on my noodles. Too thick for my taste. I will say you get a copious amount though. We also tried a chicken and pork Bao plate. Apparently those take about 15 mins to prep but we didn't mind. It didn't seem like 15 mins to us. Their presentation when they arrived was neat because it had a thin crust clumping them all together. Pretty fresh eh? They tasted okay too but I will have potstickers next time. I ordered from Noodles and Dumplings this evening. I ordered the Combination Fried Rice, the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, and the General Tso chicken with a side of white rice. They put all of this food in one bag. The weight of all the food caused the containers to break. I contacted Noodles and Dumplings, and they said they would replace the food; however, when I got there, she acted as if she had a memory loss. She wanted me to pay for a new order. When I asked for a refund, then she said they were remaking my food. Terrible customer service. If I'm paying 60 dollars for food, I shouldn't get garbage. Don't eat here..... read more

Would be lovely to actually visit restaurants in person but today we ordered delivery through Yelp and for the most part it was a very positive experience. Noodles and dumplings food is delicious, the chicken noodle mix was definitely a different recipe unlike anything I had tasted and it was very generous portion for which I am grateful because for 3 items in the menu plus delivery and delivery tip spent about $55. The chicken noodle mix was not packaged correctly. The driver was super careful so that helped but overall a styrofoam was not big enough for it and the juice did spill over. There was only one server when I arrived during lunch time and I definitely give him props serving multiple tables. Food was just okay in my opinion. We tried a variety of dishes including: xiao long baos (soup dumplings) which wasn't very soupy and a little on the salty side, pork scallion dumplings which was bland, spicy wonton soup which was decent and had flavor compared to the other dishes, and the bbq pork buns (not pictured) which was fluffy and flavorful and probably my favorite item. read more

I've heard all the rave for WS location and I was stoked that they opened a NE location - THANK YOU. We ordered; 1. N2 - Spicy beef noodle soup 2. D1 - pork dumplings (pan fries) 3. D5 - spicy pork bao 4. Milk tea - iced Let me just say that everything is delicious and the portions are HUGE (prices are decent considering their portions)! Be warned because you can easily order waaaay more than you can eat (who said left overs ?!). My favorite was the Bao and I would probably make that my main entree. The soup is flavorful and the dumplings are big and tasty (8 per order). Although fried they're not deep fried just a pan fry on the steamed dumpling. I'll definitely try steamed ones next time. Now as for the milk tea although delicious in taste it is not really cold even with ice added (mind you I asked for a cold tea), they might need to get different lids for to-go cups not sure why the huge hold lid, maybe next time I'll try it in restaurant vs to go and give it another chance (maybe). I'll definitely be coming back to try more stuff. I came at noon and surprisingly it was not full but perhaps cause they're just opening and people are just getting wind of it. This place took my order and made me pay over the phone (weird) then said he would call me when it was ready! I arrived on time to find the ENTIRE staff sitting down eating, I waited another 15 min before walking in to the guy licking his fingers to hand me my order that had been sitting there the whole time!
