Fried Rice with chicken and pork
    Christian R.

I came in on a Friday afternoon with my party of 5, around 2 PM for lunch. The restaurant wasn't too busy and we were sat right away. Our waitress was very nice and professional. We had 3 kids with us and she was very patient with them despite their interruptions and numerous requests. Throughout the meal she did attend to us and checked in on us, which we appreciated. The 3 stars is for the quality of the food. We're visiting El Paso, and I'm unsure if this place is a chain or if it's just local, I'm feeling like it's a chain--anyway, quality of our meal was mediocre. I ordered the fried rice combo plate with chicken and pork. It was just okay. Good portioning for the price. The rest of my table ordered noodle bowls, but they were bland and severely lacked flavor. The fried dumplings we ordered also tasted just okay, nothing special. We probably won't come back, but if you're looking for somewhere to fill yourself up with heavy portions of food, this place is an option, just know there are definitely more authentic restaurants out there where you can get quality food items.

Service was good. Food was not, the beef looked and tasted old, definitely not fresh. I'll be honest and say that the mean was disgusting and rubbery. The dumplings and dumplings were alright.

For the most part everything tastes delicious, personally their fried rice could use some work (not pictured as we asked for it to be removed from our table)! Service was great. I think the place could use a makeover as it looks a bit run down. However, the rest of our food and service did not disappoint. Definitely a place you want to put on your radar if you're looking for good oriental food (minus the fried rice)

Underwhelming and disappointing. I ordered a Chicken LanZhou Spicy Noodle bowl and got it with beef instead. I could've asked them to take it back and give me the correct order, but I didn't want to wait any longer and beef was fine. The broth had no flavor and it was not spicy at all. Also, I had maybe 4 pieces of beef and 2 pieces of broccoli, but soooo many noodles. The beef didn't have any flavor either. Their service was good and the space was nice, however, the quality of the food didn't do it for me.

I'd heard from several people about Noodles & Dumplings but haven't had a chance to go prior to their new east side location opening on George Dieter. I ordered take out through their website & was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call to advise me that my order was ready for pickup about 5 mins earlier than I was originally informed. I opted for the Kung Pao chicken with broccoli, carrots, onions, bell peppers & mushrooms. Also ordered the Mongolian beef with broccoli, onions & peppers. I ordered both with rice (although based on the restaurant name, maybe I should've tried some noodles). Both dishes were very good. LOTS of food for each dish that I really enjoyed. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 only because both dishes overflowed in the take out bag leaving a mess to clean up upon getting home & ready to eat. The other thing I'd like to see different on a future visit (which I will be making) would be more or larger veggie pieces included in the dishes.

What the heck are these, are you serious...I ordered green onion pancakes...

The lack of stars results from two wasted orders of green onion pancakes & poor customer service. I've ordered take out from this location twice now and while generally the food is 4/5, I was so disgusted and disappointed with the green onion/scallion pancakes. Please see photos. There was not ONE green onion in the two orders I received. NOT ONE. And they were just flatter than can be, might as well been air. I called the next day and politely asked for a refund. Was told the manager would call me back; unfortunately I did not receive a call back. I couldn't care less about the $12-but if you tell me the mgr is going to call me back you better mean it. Customer service & recovery 101.

I was bummed to see Photastix go, but I'm down for trying new things and supporting local businesses. I had actually never been to a Noodles and Dumplings, I didn't know what the main thing to get was, but I liked it. Not knowing what to get, I deferred to the House Specialty and ordered the N4 Noodle Soup and it was pretty good: nice flavor and a huge portion. I was happy to see that they have a decent vegetarian selection, gonna have to bring The Vegan to check it out with me next time.

Great food. Some of the best soup dumplings in town. Great ramen also. Definitely worth the money.

Everything was so good! The servings are pretty big, so it was enough to have leftovers at home. We will definitely be back!

Not as good... there are way better restaurants in the area. The noodles here taste too doughy.

Overall just sad American Asian food. I will not be buying anything. Service was okay but it won't make up for the food.

Pan fried dumplings : small, odd shape, served flipped tupside down apparently directly from the pan, and not all that crispy. BBQ pork Bao: split on top, way too soft (and wrong) texture Spicy Sichuan soup - this was easily the best dish but it's made with lemongrass ?? that's a Thai thing. An unusual but delicious tweak. Dry fried chicken - completely not authentic this came coated in a spicy dust. Truly bizarre

Unfortunately, my fiancé and I were disappointed with what was brought to the table. While the portion sizes and cost-per-plate were very nice, the flavor seemed to miss. * Our Sesame Chicken just tasted like orange chicken with a bunch of sesame seeds on it * Xiao long baos were weirdly tangy? * SumSam dumplings were good in taste overall, but the dumpling wrapper fell apart very quickly when being picked up and the filling kept falling out. Our favorite dish we ordered though * Pork BBQ Bao was also good in flavor, but the bao felt a bit starchy and was hard to chew at times. Additionally when we arrived, the floors were sticky, the sauce jars at the table did not look recently cleaned, and there was still residual food under our table from previous patrons.

The rolls here are much bigger in size than most places and it felt like it was harder to eat without it just falling apart. It was my coworkers first time trying sushi and sadly it didn't really impress him much. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball. I can't say I would go back here but give it a try and see if it meets your expectations. They seem to short staffed and that could be what went wrong that day but not sure.

When we arrived, we did not know what to expect (we even looked into the place in order to decide if we were staying or living). WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! The food (all of it) was SPECTACULAR. VERY fresh and tasty. The prices? I still cannot believe we ate so much delicious food for that amount of money. My wife wanted a Salmon Steak. They did not have the right sauce and therefore the dish was not in the menu. I asked if they could do a grilled salmon instead without the sauce. They did. My wife thinks it is probably the best salmon she had since we moved to El Paso. We are definitely going back often.
