I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. Is this why people do this? Hopefully I don't see you yelpers again. Take care

My husband was told "no pain, no gain" when he asked for more numbing (he's a redhead and needs it -- they didn't care). The hygienist took her anger out on us. It felt personal. Staff were trash-talking the manager right in front of us. The manager herself was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in patient care -- both in person and when I called to cancel our next appointments. This place is not trauma-informed, not compassionate, and not safe. Don't traumatize your children here. They're using reviews from the previous practice at this location to trick people. Do not be fooled. This experience was emotionally and physically harmful. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Both teeth are back molars and are next to each other. The first visit to get them prepped started okay, but they decided to give me one plastic temporary that spanned both teeth, even though I told them I had been grinding my teeth for years. I drove home (30 min away) and within five minutes it cracked off. So back I went. It took 2.5 hours (!!!!!) of my actually being in the chair (there was a minimum wait in the waiting room) with the dentist drilling, grinding, and testing new crowns, and the crowns coming off immediately. Finally, they gave up building one crown covering both teeth, put a lightweight crown on one of the teeth (I think plastic again), and put a poorly fitting _metal_ temporary crown on the larger of the two teeth. I got a lecture in the meantime about how they'd have to cut the metal one off at the next visit. I could have cared less at that point - I just wanted it done. The dentist was kind of a jerk about it - and treated me as if his ability to get a crown to stick was somehow my fault. He also cut pretty well into my gums, which bled everywhere. Now I have had a ton of dental work in the past 50 years (braces, TMJ therapy, crowns, fillings, deep cleanings, etc.), and generally never have had a problem with them. Dentists compliment me on how mellow I am during dental treatments. But between the dentist's rather large fingers, his apparent lack of patience, pieces of tooth/cement/etc falling into my throat, and numbing medicine wearing off..... I had my first panic attack in years and was in tears after what ended up being nearly 4 hours in the dental chair in one day to prep for two crowns and get temporaries in place. Not to mention 2 hours of driving back and forth. Even though I was told two or three weeks to get the crowns back, it took closer to 4 before they called me to come back in (according to the next lecture from the dentist, it only took two weeks to get them back). More big fingers. They had to cut off the steel one (it turns out I was allergic to the chrome - so that month was already spent dealing with that issue), then fitted the two new ones, pretty much ignoring my concerns about how they were sitting while telling me that my bite would adjust within two weeks. Luckily, my husband came with me the next time since I was on the edge of panic the entire time. But about an hour later, I was done. So, it lasted a week. And the largest of the two fell right out again (no, I was not eating anything hard). No, there is no way in heck I'll go back. Unfortunately, I can't get into the new dentist for a week, but oh well. Oh, and both times I was there - their patient restroom was a disaster area. I've seen gas station bathrooms that were cleaner. That should have been a sign.

I actually enjoy going to the dentist and have consistently gone every 6 months for years, so I know exactly what to expect from a routine visit. While the administrative staff was nice and attentive, my clinical experience with Dr. Patel felt more like a high-pressure "timeshare sales pitch" than a medical consultation. The first red flag happened when Dr. Patel recommended a specific cleaning that included a rinse/spray. When I told him I just wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance, he dismissed my preference. He stated he didn't know anything about my insurance coverage and refused to perform the basic cleaning. I later learned that his recommended cleaning came with an out-of-pocket expense of at least $100. The second red flag came when he displayed my X-rays on the big screen. He went over every tooth and recommended replacing old silver fillings with cosmetic white ones, along with several other costly procedures. When I questioned his recommendations, he became condescending and repeatedly asked if he had explained it well and if I even understood him.At that point, it became clear that I was dealing with a money-hungry dentist rather than a trustworthy provider whose primary focus is patient care. I will not be returning.

I had gone to my normal dentist the day before and the treatment plan given was very very aggressive and very very expensive. Went to Dr. Lee, and got on a new treatment plan I feel comfortable with, his staff is amazing and kind. The hygienists are lovely and make you feel so comfortable. Their technology is high tech in comparison to my previous dentist in Alpharetta. With Dr. Lee, I was able to get scheduled for an extraction for next Monday, but they saved me a time slot today in case I needed it (I did) The actual procedure (that I was completely dreading), was crazy easy and painless! I didn't even know he had pulled and cleaned the infection! I was out in 30 minutes! It's primarily a Korean practice but everyone speaks English. Even if you aren't Korean, if you're looking for an honest, quality, dentist- I can't recommend this practice enough. I've had my fair share of dentists and was shocked at the difference in quality of care, admin, staff, and prices. So much so that I immediately got on yelp to review them (procedure was done an hour ago).

It's not because service was mediocre or anything of that sort. It was just average, and I was lazy to actually write something since I believe the first review lays down the basis for people who may decide to visit a business or not. -- Or I'm just overthinking this. Some really don't care about actual Yelp reviews. Ha! I think my hygienist actually changed to Claire. I don't remember and can't tell because of the whole mask, and now face shield and hair cover (I think). Her face was well covered is all I can say. Well, she was slightly talkative so that interaction was different from what I can remember. She provided good alternative tips and even threw in some eastern medicine knowledge she knew to help me with my oral hygiene. She said she had studied this (eastern medicine) for three years. [Not sure how the details like if it was self-taught, learned thru family members, etc., but it was helpful.] And Dr. Lee really interacted with me -- more laughs than usual. Most times he takes a quick look, asks a few questions, and scurries off. He is the only dentist so he must be busy. I remember calling on their closed day (not knowing this fact until afterwards), and I think he answered the phone (or the other Asian guy -- lol) and made an appointment change for me. All in all. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with Claire and Dr. Lee on this particular day. This is a Korean practice, but everyone speaks English. I enjoy the courteousness with an Asian place and less of the chit chat banter of small talk. I truly think I have found my lifelong dentist. Fingers crossed bc I have been scorned by a dentist in the past. Side note: Like how do I have like three or four cavities when I continually go and get my cleanings, and the actual dentist said I am all good. Then BAM. Cavities appear and many filings and a crown later that just kills my benefits and burns a small out of pocket hole. You can bet that dentist was reported to the board and was forced to move her practice. Just saying. A good dentist is important.
