Always a great meal. Our go-tos are chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, veggie pakoras, samosas, and naan. They have the sweet brown sauce for the samosas that the Woods location doesn't have. My dad loves the lamb wrap in onion naan. The saag paneer and lentil soup are also fantastic. read more

Not sure if they are affiliated with Noorjahan at 8 mile, which we have eaten at a few times and enjoyed their food. This place has been so many restaurants over the decades. It used to be some grill or something before this place. It's a narrow restaurant. Ordered 2 mixed green salads, butter chicken, channa masala, vegetable kurma and mushroom bhaje. All medium plus. No dosa or gobi manchurian here, tap was, as we found out they don't have any bottle waters here. We are the only diners in here. Mostly carry out folks in here. Order took about 13 minutes to start coming out from the time of our order. Our mixed green salad was covered with ranch, so much for a healthy salad then. It's also not a mixed salad but made with iceberg lettuce. Maybe confused on what a mixed green salad is then. The waiter assured us the Ranch is good, it's not that special or good. The waiter said the water is lemon juice and they used to have a vinaigrette but no one liked it. The chicken is a bit hard and overcooked. The butter chicken sauce is yummy. The chicken is a bit sparse for the butter chicken as well. The Channa masala, mushroom and the kurma are all yummy and good. The salad is blah and not what I was expecting at all. More than enough food for 4 (even if it was just the 2 of us *shhhh*) & it was enjoyed by all. I called in my order & was told it would be 30 min. I arrived and they were just pulling the chicken off the grill. The guys working were friendly and called me by name and wearing their masks properly, which I truly appreciated. I eat Noorjhan a lot. I really really love their wraps. I can't stress enough how good the wraps are. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are good, but not particularly top notch to me. The saag paneer is really good, but still not quite in a category where I can call it amazing. I often opt in for a mango laasi as I usually will, but this is something I feel they don't do particularly well on. It's always served a bit more on the warmer side. It's a bit small for the price and not really exceptional in any other capacity. Overall it's the best Indian you're going to get in the area (maybe the only Indian), and it is all at least good, but with the wraps aside I feel most dishes could pack in a bit more flavor. read more

This is the best kept secret on the Eastside. - the restaurant was very clean - the wait staff was very nice and was. patient with questions - we ordered veggie pakora, chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, buttered naan and cheese naan and a diet coke(it came in a can) $38 I must say, the mains were both delicious. The vindaloo gravy was popping with flavor and the masala gravy was thick with heavy cream and wonderfully seasoned. The veggie pakora was good but I will try a different appetizer next time. I've never eaten cheese naan. I was surprised to see it had yellow cheddar? cheese. It was a non event. The buttered naan will be my go to. The food is good and the service satisfactory except that the waitress was rather curt and perhaps did not speak English well enough to answer my questions. There was no one in the restaurant. Perhaps that is because they have increased their prices far beyond what a take out restaurant in an old Big Boy can command in the neighborhood. Worst of all I was charged an extra dollar for "spicy" chicken curry, and they added a 4% credit card fee. Vote Democrat to force restaurants to pay minimum wage instead of $2 an hour and make it illegal again to pass through credit card fees to the customer. I won't go back. read more
