We left feeling better and so did Moose. Unfortunately things got better and then much worse. We knew what we needed to do with our baby and Dr. Barringer fit us in for a last minute consult just to put my mind at ease. She was amazing and kind as well as empathetic. We utilized Lap of Love to our home to help our Moosey cross over. What a pleasant surprise to get flowers and a card from College Park Wellness after Moosey's passing! This instilled in us that we were in the right place and the rest of our pet family will continue with College Park Wellness! Thank you for your kindness and love. We moved into the area and needed a new vet. This was close to home and decided to give them a shot. My 15 year old cat Moose and eventually our new babies Birdie and Bogie have been going to see Dr. Barringer ever since! The staff is amazing, attentive and they really do answer the follow up texts. Our kitties have been in great hands! I love taking them and feel confident in their care. Moose got some nasal issue and Dr Barringer checked with other colleagues and we tried many things to support him. She helped with his pain of being older and really checked in on him. Every team member, from Lindsay (who took my first call) to Collette (who talked to me about previsit meds) to the friendly team at the check out desk, has treated our family with warmth, respect, and care. And Dr. Crowe knocked our socks off. She transformed our highly anxious (even when medicated), stressed-out pup into her buddy. She engaged kindly with him, was not fearful, got down on his level, and genuinely seemed to like him. She distracted him with games and treats and snuggles and was able to administer three vaccinations easily. Dr. Crowe cared for us (the humans) too, as it has been stressful ensuring our dog receives the care he needs despite his anxiety. She reassured us and shared strategies for future visits. Our first dog lasted 14 years in their care and when his tumors caused him to fail. The emergency clinic was compassionate and caring. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff it handles our dogs perfectly. The staff and the dogs are always calm and will be behaved. They offer reasonable options for care based on the dog's age health, etc. they aren't pushy. In total, we've had four dogs and a good relationship with Noah's North.

Our pup was older (15 years old) and one day began showing stiffness in his front leg. At first, it…read moreappeared mild -- possibly a sprain or minor injury -- but it progressed into a noticeable limp. When there was no improvement, we scheduled a veterinary appointment as soon as possible. We went to Noah's trusting their professional opinion. The vet recommended X-rays and keeping him at the clinic for several hours. We reluctantly agreed. When I returned later that afternoon to pick him up, his condition was dramatically worse. He was barely able to walk and was dragging his leg on the floor. The staff minimized this by saying he was "just sore" and needed rest. I was shocked and devastated. His leg condition after the visit was significantly worse than when we dropped him off. From that point forward, he struggled to stand to eat or drink and rapidly declined. At night, he would wake up crying in pain while trying to move in his sleep. Given his age and existing cancer diagnosis, our family made the heartbreaking decision to let him pass peacefully. We chose to take him to a completely different veterinary clinic to do so. I will never return to this clinic and do not recommend trusting them with your pet. Our experience resulted in far more suffering than relief during our dog's final days. Edit: Correction -- he was dropped off early in the morning and picked up later in the afternoon (not overnight). This is the same location where X-rays were performed (address shown in attached paperwork). Names will remain anonymous. This incident occurred last year, and our dog has since passed. Reopening the situation would not change the outcome or bring closure. I am sharing this based on our experience at the time of care for awareness purposes.

I have never felt pressured into an unnecessary procedure and they treat your babies with love and care.

Because they set the bar at $450, I agreed to the $270 for a hydration shot and antibiotics and the visit. We ended up not giving her antibiotics because we read that it can be equally bad for them as it kills her good bacteria. She was fine in two days. What a rip off!
