The food was okay. Went here right after a wake because it was across the street and convenient. We were hungry but it was just me and a friend. We ordered the chicken fingers in the buffalo sauce. The sauce was tangy and nice actually. It reminded me more of an asian zing type of sauce. The chicken was just plain. The fries were real potatoes not frozen potatoes which I liked. We also ordered a penne vodka with mozzarella. The dish was just okay. I can't say there was anything special about it. The vodka sauce was not creamy it was more liquidy. I prefer a more creamy pink option. The mozzarella was just on the plate in stringy pieces. The service was good but they did not bring out bread to us when we first got there. Other people who sat around us all got bread. We did order a "dinner type" dish so technically we should've been offered bread. The waitress was nice though. She fulfilled all of our requests. Bill for those 3 items came out to $42. We did not order drinks just sodas.

I recently stopped by this place, with my girlfriend, on a Thursday evening. We were in the mode for something light and not too heavy, and this place was recommended to me by my girlfriend. This is my first time coming here, while she has been here a few times before. We sat down and they brought out some bread and butter to snack on, while we decided on what to get. I had a bud light beer with my bread. Since I was in the mode for a wrap, I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and she got the buffalo chicken fingers. The meals came out fairly quick. I really enjoyed the sauce they used on both. It was like a tangy / sweet and sour buffalo sauce. It was very tasty. The wrap came with fried and a pickle, we split the fries. Overall, I was impressed and satisfied with their buffalo chicken offered here. A great spot this is for some food. Lots of other items on the menu looked great too, and I would come back to try something new next time.

Nora's is always a fun time to go with friends and family. We came tonight for drinks and dinner. The staff/bartenders are always friendly, and the food is always good. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup that they had on the special menu, it was really good, but it could of been a little bit creamier. For an entree I ordered chicken quesadilla and well done French fries to split with the table.

The wings were awful... they're the already cooked blobs of breading and fat that places without deep fryers sell. Complete garbage, they should be embarrassed serving this type of food.

Sound suppressors have been installed and they help temper the noise. The limited wine list is well priced but unfortunately they were out of one of the two chardonnays (Bonanza) on the list. I ordered the other Chardonnay which was double the cost of the Bonanza (but still fairly priced for the quality) and it did not come out for 15 minutes. I alerted the waitress who stated that she was getting ice for it. The wine finally came with two chilled wine glasses (wrong) and it was warm. Strike two on the wine. Someone is not checking inventory. We got there as it opened at five. No excuse for not having a listed wine and then serving a warm $65 dollar bottle. Each plate of food was delivered in a staggered delivery about five to ten minutes apart. Food should come out at the same time to all customers. That's probably on the chef with the mercurial temperament. That being said; the food was very good. The chef can really cook but get there soon because he might not be there long. Four televisions the dining room is unnecessary and very distracting. Turn them off during service. I plan on going back for the good food but will bring my own wine. I got three different answers when I asked about a corkage fee; so I don't know what the corkage fee is. The owners are new and need time to adjust to the place. I see the place improving as the kinks are worked out.

As someone who has come to this bar regularly to watch Knicks playoff games, I can confidently say…read moreI will never return after what happened during the NBA Finals last night. What this bar pulled was completely unacceptable. They were openly reserving seats at the bar for certain people while telling everyone else they were unavailable. There was no advertised reservation policy, no advance notice, and no opportunity offered to regular customers. Apparently, the only way to get a seat is to know the owner, know the bartenders, or be part of the inner circle. What made it even worse was that my group had been sitting at the bar, ordering food and drinks starting around 7:30 PM, only to be forced out of our seats at 7:45 PM. The reservation signs on those seats clearly stated they were reserved for 8:15 PM. We were paying customers actively spending money, yet we were removed 30 minutes before the supposed reservation time. That is absolutely egregious behavior. I've worked in sports bars and have owned sports bars in New York City. In all my years in the business, I have never heard of reserving seats directly at the bar--especially during a major sporting event. It goes against everything that makes a sports bar successful. Bar seats have always been first-come, first-served. That's Sports Bar 101. I've spent plenty of money here over the years because it was always a great place to watch big games: good atmosphere, sound on the TVs, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, last night proved that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Regular patrons were treated like second-class citizens while preferred customers received special treatment. For a bar that markets itself as a neighborhood sports destination, this was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. If you're planning to watch a major game here, don't assume you'll be treated fairly. Unless you're friends with the right people, don't expect the same experience as everyone else. There are plenty of other sports bars in Brooklyn that understand how to treat customers. After last night, I'll be spending my money there instead. I won't be back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. Let's Go Knicks

They've also got a great lineup of local beers if that's more your speed too. It's the kind of place where you can cheer, snack, and sip without missing a play.
