Everything you want from a diner is here at My Three Sons. It's family run - you will probably see the owner, it's super clean and you get the food you expect. These kinds of diners are unfortunately vanishing and I hope this one stays for a long tim

Always a pleasure when I order breakfast from here. It's not far from my job and delivery is generally quick. Definitely a plus for when I'm hangry in the morning. The food is decent and I love how they follow special instructions. Great place!

If you want a classic diner with no frills, My Three Sons is your place. If you want a fancy restaurant for IG shots, this is not the place for you. Places like this are dwindling and I'm glad I stumbled upon this little gem. Food was good, portions were fair and our waitress Val was a great balance between being attentive and giving you space. I hate it when restaurant staff hover or rush you to turn tables over. The booth behind me were two old ladies that were nice but incredibly fickle and picky and not once did I hear Val sigh or are any signs of annoyance. I ended up with the combo platter. The meats were cooked just right and both the fries and salad had ample feta cheese to go with. It was paired with pita tzatziki sauce. It was enough for a meal and then some! My brother got the bacon cheeseburger and added a fried egg. I appreciated how they double checked if he wanted the egg runny or well done. Not many places do that. We both were satisfied with our meal! They take cash or credit. There is some metered parking but your best bet is walking or mass transportation. All in all, it's a local place with regulars and I'm more than okay with that.

7/26/17 I've been living three streets down from this coffee shop in Dyker heights for about 15 years. I have only been in here about theee times for breakfast. The only reason for that is because I'm not really a diner type of person and I have to be honest Inwasnt crazy about their breakfast back then. Not sure how it is now but I was getting a manicure across the street and decided to go in and grab something quick to eat afterwards, and have no regrets doing so. I Was greeted right away, very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken kebab salad to go. I have to say, it was by far the best I've had! I would definately be coming back to order that salad again and try other dishes on the menu.

I really wanted this to be good because it's a small local diner, but the food was dry and bland. Good prices though.

I feel like I am with my Italian friends and family in Corona,NY. There is nothing but love in all three restaurants. They have everything covered. Food wise, Bayridge rivals Manhattan. The female staff made me fall in love! They make this old man feel special. Drinks are awesome and inventive.

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? If you're looking for an intimate dinner, nope. Love their vibes and music playing in the background. You might need to "shout"'to hear

I pass this place daily, zoomin' by I'd see Philadelphia something. The video gave a full explanation and why I need to put Philadelphia Grille in my lunch rotation. Walking inside, I know what I want. Steak with white american cheese with the works (onions, peppers, and hot peppers) There's an option for mayo, I'm not sure who's getting mayo on their cheesesteak but hey, you do you! The owner comes to the front and I tell him I saw this spot on social media. Everything looks amazing, I can't wait to try my sandwich. How long have you been in business? I'm expecting 18 months, he tells me over 30 years?? Wow! Not only is Philadelphia Grille a sandwich shop but they're also serving pizza for decades. I must point out, Philadelphia Grille is a very small spot. Walking inside, you're faced with a small counter. Once you have your food, they have tables and chairs in a covered lanai. I'd be a chilly Billy eating my sandwich so I took it to go. Once I get back to my Brooklyn Fortress of Solitude I dig in. The cheesesteak my way? Dynamite. Italian bread from Brooklyn wrapping up a cheesy meat fest. Philadelphia Grille did everything right in Brooklyn! I can't wait to come back and try the roast pork. And then mix it up the following week with a grilled chicken sammy.

Open kitchen and limited amount of seats let us keep the place cozy and intimate, just like home. We make sure to buy from local purveyors, coffee roasters, and bakers." Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. Additionally, there are cooking classes in their Park Slope location; the courses look great: Italian feast, Moroccan cooking, Wine Pairing and many more. Check out their website for more info. More to come from me.. The Common is located on 9406 3rd Avenue

We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
