Sun Sang is definitely a smaller market, but it has all you need for all your Chinese groceries. There is a butcher area and a water zoo (fresh fish) in the back. Their groceries are pretty cheap and competitive. I always get my to-go snacks such as rice crackers and pocky here. I also find Sting, an energy drink that I can't seem to find anywhere else here!

If you usually carry a large bag when you're out, best to leave it in your trunk. They will ask you to leave it up front with the cashiers for security reasons. It's definitely a tight space, come during off hours if you're not fond of squeezing past people in the grocery store. Parking is a bit rough too, but they have a small lot if you have time to wait for a spot. I like their produce section a lot and I always have to grab some duck eggs while I'm here!

I understand that some small businesses impose card minimums to offset processing fees, but this is a supermarket -- a grocery store. I should be able to purchase whatever I need, regardless of the total, and pay with a card. What's worse is that there was no notice posted inside about this policy. The only sign is outside, which is both misleading and inconvenient. This kind of practice not only reflects poor customer service but also questionable business ethics. It may even violate card network rules.

I've been coming here for years now and they are always so kind and friendly. They also recommend foods that I haven't tried yet! Mithepheap Market has all the ingredients I need when I'm making my meals. When I'm on the go, I love coming by to pick up some ready to eat foods such as papaya salad and Banh Xeo. I love how they packed the papaya salad with the roasted peanuts on the side. The Banh Xeo comes in 2 pieces and it's separated by banana leaves so it's easy to pull apart. I must clearly identify that the staff member involved is the senior female employee from the back department responsible for vegetables senior lady ! This day she was standing their cut pork for customer and employee! she refused to provide proper portions to my employee, who was waiting in line appropriately. Instead, she directed her to take leftover scraps filled with excessive bone fragments. When I calmly asked for clarification, this staff member responded with a cold, impatient, and hostile attitude, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. My employee feels like homeless need get her food ! As long-term customers and fellow business owners who consistently support your company, we expect fairness and respect, particularly during a festive occasion meant to reflect goodwill.
