Called to schedule an appointment with NorCal Window Tint last minute last year, and the workers squeezed me in the schedule. He took the time to tell me the price, tint shades, the legality of tinting the front window without feeling rushed. I only waited 1 hour for it to get finished and it came out looking factory. As of today, there is no bubble and no peeling. It's worth going here if you are in the area and you need some tints.

I got my windows (rear and back passenger) tint today. Joe, answered all my questions truthfully, namely on product, %, heat reduction, cost, groupon, legal, how to care, warranty. I saw how he works and is very professional. He will guarantee his labor, and can come back if anything is wrong with it. He is reasonable with the price, as well as time. I came in after work, almost 5pm and took time to answer my questions, before I decided on the tint and %. I recommend this service to anyone. read more

Came across this business through Yelp, just got my windows tinted on my BMW 328i. Joe was really friendly, and he was fast. I was in and out of there in about 1 hour. His work looks excellent. His prices are very good as well, I called around to many places and this was the best price available. He got me in the same day I called! Mention YELP for $10 off. Went to NorCal Window Tint to get my 2018 Mazda3 hatchback tinted because of all the great reviews. I would have to say I'm not disappointed. Joe was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and had me scheduled within the next few days. There were a couple things I had him fixed but he never complained or showed any bad attitude toward it. You get what you paid for and in this case professional work, product and amazing customer service. With 5 windows tinted with ceramic I now have the privacy and protection I wanted. My car stays cool even when it's parked under the sun all day. I can drive with my arm in the door and I don't get burned. Ceramic tint will protect my leather and the 5% will keep wandering eyes away from what's inside my car. I will definitely be bringing my other cars to NorCal tint and I've already recommended him to a few of my friends. Thank you very much Joe for making my first tint job hassle free. read more

I recently got a new car on Friday, I called NorCal and asked if I could get my car tinted as soon as possible, they instantly gave me the first appointment on the following Monday (they're closed on weekends) at nine. I show up at nine am any my car is done by 9:40. It was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly and give their input on what is best looking for your car not to mention the price was half of what other places quoted me at. read more

Joe is a great guy. On time, professional, and very fast. I went to several other tint shops in the bay area, and NONE of them could complete my car because the rear window on my impala is very difficult to do. This is the place to go for window tinting! My husband took his Subaru Outback in and was very impressed by Joe and the quality of his work. This is the place to go! Based on other yelp reviews and asking around at other places for a quote, NorCal tint was the lowest, with life time warranty and had the most consistent reviews. I called NorCal Tint and they accommodated two appointments on the day I wanted to come in. The tinting took about an hour for each car and my boyfriend and I got a really good deal on our cars (wayyyy better than what we found in SF/Peninsula). I noticed some jelly bubbles but figured they would dry out in a few days, which they did. Plus, since we tinted our cars in winter, the owner said it would take longer to fully dry. So definitely worth the drive. I would do business with this company again. read more

My husband and I had scheduled two back to back appointments at 11 AM and 1130 on a Sunday to get…read moreour cars tinted. So that we were not left without a car, they suggested we leave our truck first and they told us they would call us when to come back to collect the truck and then they would tint our car. Minimum of four hours later, I decided to call because I have tinted my windows in the past and it's never taken that long. They told me it'll be ready in 30 minutes and they would call me so no need to come down and wait. I relayed this message to my husband and he decides he's just going to go down there anyway. Well he sat there for another three hours. They obviously hadn't even started our tuck. Clearly they are overbooked and will take everyone who walks in. Long story short, they worked on our two cars, while obviously taking a bunch of other cars, from 11 AM till after 8 PM on a Sunday. We had to work the next day, we were so mad. There were tons of little bubbles and imperfections in the tint, some of it has settled. When we called to come back, they told us to give it a little bit more time. We will be bringing it back to have the adjustments made as they claim they have a lifetime warranty to any of their locations. We paid for the most expensive tint they offer. I'm embarrassed to even say how much we spent. They have a sample of all of their tints and they put a heat lamp in front of it to show you how much of the heat it will block. Ain't NO WAY the tint they put on our windows was the same one that they showed us and we paid for. My car is so hot, and we paid a ridiculous amount of money for the "best" they offered. Don't be fooled, just get the regular tint. It's a scam their little heat trick. I'm a business owner myself and I don't take lightly writing reviews for a business, I try to only spread positivity, but the amount of money we paid and along with the experience we had and what we are left with....totally not worth it.

The owner explained that his "new shop was under renovation" and said he was temporarily doing work from his house. I decided to give him a chance and brought my car there. Unfortunately, the tint job was done very poorly -- peeling at the bottom, chipped edges at the top, and a lot of bubbles throughout the tint. My mistake was paying cash before fully inspecting the work. When I pointed out the issues, he admitted he didn't have the proper tools at the time and promised to redo the tint later with a "lifetime warranty." Since then, he has completely stopped responding to my calls and texts, and I've been unable to get the problems fixed. I'm sharing my experience so other people don't end up dealing with the same situation. Be cautious before letting this person work on your vehicle.

Alright, here it is... Joe is a solid guy! I could tell this much straight away. Super down to earth and friendly. He has a nice little shop space tucked away in the corner of an open lot easy to find with plenty of parking. Upon meeting him, he had a great smile and a firm handshake! This says a lot about a man. His shop is neat and clean, which speaks to the work he does as well.
