I have a pretty long story but I'll make it short and sweet. Well I went to a different gun smith before I heard about this place and paid $300 to get my handgun supposedly fixed that took almost 4 months and the Gun was never fixed! A bunch of people kept recommending Norco Armory so I said what the hell lets give them a call. Keep in mind I don't want to dump much more in a gun that's only worth $400 brand new. But it's sentimental. When I called the shop Jeff answers the Phone and gave him my spiel and said bring it on by and let's take a look at it. I got to the shop and felt welcomed the second I walked through the door. He took a look at it and said I can fix this. 1 week later (Today) he calls me and says come pick it up it's ready. Recently bought a my wife a Sig Sauer P229 with standard sights. Wanted to upgrade them to night sites and ordered them online. I've never replaced pistol sights before and once I looked it up, realized it was more than I wanted to attempt. Took it all down to Dave @ Norco armory and he was able to kindly explain to me that I purchased/was shipped incorrect sights (amazon sent me sights for a Sig P229 in .40 or .45, not 9mm which is what I have). He even got online and showed me the ones I should have gotten. Long story short, Amazon ended up giving me a full refund and told me to keep the sights anyway. So I had a free set of $125 night sights that I wasn't sure what to do with. I ended up finding out that the front sight would work, just not the rear. So back to Dave @ Norco. Since it was 1/2 the job, Dave charged me 1/2 the price (well less than half, from $45 to $20). He even said if I ever replace the rear, he'll only charge the balance of $25. I was ready to leave the pistol with him for the day, but he knocked it out in like 10 minutes, and got it right smack perfectly in the middle on his first try. It was a real pleasure to meet and deal with Dave. fast and friendly service and for me very convenient location on the way to and back from work. Definitely 5 stars. I went to Dave for an embarrassing reason, a stuck or frozen screw on a handgun. I should have been able to unstick a screw! But it wasnt stuck or frozen, its a matter of knowing the steps of taking other things apart first, then the screw will unscrew. Well, Dave knew, and explained the steps and finished it in a jiffy. All thats left for me is to cleanup the buggered screw head (done by me) or buy a new one. Dave is friendly, doesnt rush you and knows what he is doing. I couldnt ask for better and now he has a new, ongoing customer. But think of NA for more of your gun needs because small gunshops depend on us to stay in business. These days they are an endangered species and are evaporating as we speak, often just by the ATF pressuring the shops to quit. I'll use NA as my FFL and ask Dave first when I need something. NA deserves the support, unlike some others I know. read more

They're back! Their return was long overdue. I was having withdrawal symptoms of not having Norco's dynamic-duo arms dealer in town for a while. Their new place looks great. It's spacious and has a lot of room to expand its selection. Selection is limited at the moment, but I'm certain they will be getting more stuff in. From what I recall, they had AR15 parts, AR15 lowers, Complete AR15s, AKs, Shotguns, Glocks, Springfields, RIA 1911s, Smith and Wesson Shields, Beretta 92, a selection of revolvers, and ammo (Including buckets of 22LR). Jeff is also a gunsmith. He is a freakin' wizard when it comes to guns. Every time I walk into the store, he is in his man-cave working on a new project. My recent experience at Norco Armory was a couple of weeks ago when I went in to purchase an AR lower as well as some parts. Jeff had the parts installed and ready to go when I came back after my 10 day wait. The DROS process took less than 10 minutes - I'm not kidding. Good luck going to Turners if you think you'd be able to receive the level of service I have received at Norco Armory. You'll most likely be waiting at least 40 minutes just to take a look at a firearm. Prices are always fair and they have some very sweet deals on firearms when they have a sale. Also, if they don't have a firearm you're looking for, they may be able to special order it. read more

Brought two of my pistols in to have night sights installed. It wasn't super busy on a Tuesday, so Jeff was able to take care of it on the spot. It was fast and clean work at a fair price! Jeff let me know that I could bring them back, after I took them to the range, to have them adjusted free of charge. Which he did for both of them, again as I waited. Omg let me just say David is awesome. I had a situation with having to pick up a firearm and transfer into my name. I was having a hard time finding the information I needed to get through the process and Turners Corona treated me like a dumb female. So after someone suggested Norco Armory which is here in the city I've lived in for 30 years I decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did. David was kind and explained the process to me. Told me what I had to do what paperwork I needed to fill out etc. I went into the business instead of calling since he's a one man show and I figured I pass it daily. He's extremely knowledgeable about firearms and what the laws are to obtain or purchase one. He talks to you not at you, is very patient and explains everything fully. This place is absolutely horrible. I have purchased over a dozen firearms from many ffls and this is by far the worst. I purchased a Glock 34 from them a couple years back at their previous location and had a issues. Recently I decided to give it another shot(no pun intended) because they are directly affiliated with Palmetto State Armory. Upon them receiving my lower it they took a day to call me to let me know. Then when I went to start the dros they wouldn't take my proof of residence that I had already used at turners 2 weeks prior. After this I just wanted to get it shipped to a different ffl. They said they would.later when I called back they just sent it back to palmetto without even calling me to ask if I would prefer that because that ffl would take delivery from them. And also if you are looking to get any gunsmith work done here don't. While I was there the guy who was helping me out was also installing some sights for a customer and just banging them in with a steel punch. What kind of gun smith doesn't even have a sight drifter. Jeff is a very knowledgeable guy, I was told from a friend who works at a clay range to visit him, my plunger/extractor completely went missing while shooting slays and even though he did not have the exact parts to fix it on the spot, he recommended calling Remington themselves and have them ship over the parts and he even showed me how to do it since it is such an easy process.
