They do just A/C repairs and do it well. Took my RV there. Didn't matter that it was a diesel pusher with condenser in front and compressor in the back, AC is AC. They found a leaking high-pressure hose and a cracked vacuum line. Repaired the hose (cut and crimped on new end), replaced the vacuum line and recharged the system. They also replaced a bad compressor pulley and tested the compressor. Works better than ever; work done thoroughly and reasonably. read more

Let me start out by saying My wife and I are very pleased with the service and care we received at Norco Auto Air. They were very courteous and took our two vehicles in with appointments that we had made. When we arrived there was no waiting, and before we left they were moving our cars into the work bay. We got a prompt call from the Technician with a diagnosis and estimate for our two vehicles. About 4 Hours later we got a call telling us that our vehicles were ready, way ahead of the times that I had estimated it would take. We retrieved our vehicles and to our joy the air conditioning was Ice Cold!!!! They finished up the paperwork and informed us about the one year warranty. This place was recommended by my coworker who took their car here and they say he did a good job. There AC is really cold now. So I needed a second opinion on my 2006 civic AC as why it's not cold after I got the work done somewhere else. He checked it and say all I needed was a compressor and expansion valve. He ask me to take it back to previous place sine it's under warranty. So I took it to another place that also cover the warranty from the the fit place that did the work. I brought my 16 year old son's truck to have the AC repaired in August of 2018. Im a female and dont know much about ACs so I put my trust in this place. They changed the Clutch and 2 Lines and charged me $420.00. Its now January 2019 and the truck isn't blowing cool air. Brought the truck back and was told that the Compressor is leaking and needs replacing at another $400.00. I called a few other local AC places and all have said that the clutch and compressor go hand in hand and should have been replaced together. This clearly seemed like a situation where my son and I were taken advantage of due to our lack of knowledge. We will NOT be using this facility any longer. read more

I posted a great review initially thinking the work auto air did was honest, fair & reputable... I was mistaken UPDATE: My A/C was blowing hot air and wouldn't stay cool after it was serviced, I was under the impression it had a leak somewhere. After taking my car in to Norco Auto Air, Thomas Pham said the compressor is bad and they replaced it with a new one. Two weeks after putting a "new" compressor in my car ($500) my A/C stopped working again. I went back and he said the clutch fell off of the brand new compressor which could have been from a mechanic error, this leads me to believe it was not installed properly and/or it was not a new compressor to start with.. two weeks after that, it stopped working again. I went back and they said they replaced the hose because it was clogged/bad and wanted to charge me another $150. He did not call me to discuss this issue or the price, nor did I consent to having the hose changed. I received the call after it was done. I brought a mechanic with me at the time who questioned him and he could not answer any questions clearly on what he fixed and what he was charging me for. Thomas admitted to "missing the clog in the hose" when questioned about why he didn't check and replace that first as it would have been cheaper then charging a customer hundreds of dollars for a new compressor. He was clearly shook up and decided to let me go without paying the extra $150. He failed to give me paperwork for the hose that was supposedly replaced as well. Three weeks after that here I am. My A/C has stopped working again. It is blowing hot air like it was before I took it to Norco Auto only difference is I'm out $500. I will not be going back (for a fourth time) and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund and get my A/C working properly. I highly recommend people to stay away from here. P.S. A lot of the reviews posted here are initial reviews right after the service but I don't see any updates on them. The problem always seems fixed initially until you keep having to come back for extra/other repairs. read more

Sam and his staff were incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable leaving my car there. After the job was done I picked my car up and my AC worked perfectly! These guys are awesome. My mechanic said I might have a bad AC compressor, so I went to visit them for a checkup and estimate. They said it would cost $50 for the diagnosis (and potentially $895 for a new compressor). They proceeded with the inspection, but they found the problem to be electrical instead. So they waived the diagnostic fee and referred me to another mechanic who specializes in electrical issues. I ended up going to the mechanic they referred to and my car is running great now and the fix was a hell of a lot cheaper than getting a new compressor!! If it ever does turn out to be a compressor issue, rest assured I will be coming here. Thank you!! read more

Excellent service and price. Got a quote from Pep Boys to replace compressor and then recharge system. Norco Auto Air replaced some seals and recharged the system for less than what Pep Boys wanted for just the recharge. There is no reason to go anywhere else for your automobile A/C service. read more

After looking around for different places, I decided to go to this place because of the reviews. I stopped by around 11 am to see if they could get my A/C charged, but the guy I talked to did not seem that he wanted to do the work and was very short and a bit rude when he said he did not have the time. I guess it was because it was a Friday. Found another place down the street that was just as busy, and they did it in 30 minutes. This is the second time that I go to this place, last time they wanted to charge me more to rebuild the A/C compressor than the dealer price for a new one. I guess when you have enough business, you can pick and choose who to help. But eventually the word gets around and people will find a more curtious place that can do the same or better than this place. read more

Very fair shop that specializes in A/C. I had my problem diagnosed by Tom and chose to have the work done a few weeks later. He was by far the cheapest around after making several cars. Now $700- four trips there a condenser and two compressors it doesn't work at all blows hot air cant find anything wrong. Don't go here! Tom caused $1,000 worth of damage to the door on my truck and then denied it. He tried to hide the damage by parking my truck in a corner so I could not see it when I picked it up. When I walked around the truck before leaving, I pointed it out and he said he had no idea how it got there. I highly recommend Norco Auto Air. They are super honest. Another mechanic had told me that the AC compressor needed to be replaced, and was not engaging, in my recently purchased VW beetle, which I had for only one month. The AC had been working fine when I bought the car, and the AC compressor had been changed 7 months ago by the previous owner. Not only did NAA give me a better price to fix the AC then the dealership, once they had my car they found out that the AC was fine, but instead the car needed a new fuse box, which was cheaper to repair then the AC. NAA went to VW to purchase an new/original fuse box, and had the car ready for me same day. I appreciate their honestly, and fair pricing, and will definitely take my cars back to them in the future. read more
