My husband started his cpap journey just over a year ago. Norco's trainer was great to schedule one on one training with him because of his work schedule. She answered all his questions. Getting the machine so quickly was a huge help to him. He is feeling and sleeping so much better. We had an on going billing issue with the insurance. Norco continues working with us to get it straightened out. Some companies would have given up and expected the consumer to pay up front and get it fixed with insurance on our own. Norco stood with us to get it fixed. Can't thank you enough for helping us get it all started and the billing corrected. read more

This is one of the worst companies to try to get a prescription filled. If you're not spending thousands of dollars each month with norco they will not even bother with you. This is a terrible company I wouldn't recommend it to anybody if you can find anywhere else to go please go there you'll be a lot happier. That's my opinion of this business. Unprofessional people working down there rude. When you go to pick something up and they're too busy for you they will just leave you sitting in their office. My husband went to pick me up a nebulizer mask which costs 3 dollars and was turned away because we did not have a prescription. I'm able to buy a nebulizer machine online with no medical documentation but here they wont do it unless they can gouge an insurance company. I did not want to wait several days for something I need today. Ny mask broke unexpectedly. Another medical supply place did it just down the road. Since it's legal to sell it without prescription they CHOOSE to not serve public customers. I got a prescription from my doc just now and will always use the other company. read more

Poor customer service. Missed an appointment because no one gave me the address nor a phone number for them. No follow up call or letter to confirm the appointment. This place is Horrid! I was given a prescription for a CPAP. Like many others, I wasn't looking forward to this new venture. I had an appointment when I walked in. The first "hit" was horrible. Lots of reminders of old age and death in a sterile and old-fashioned setting. First thought was to leave, but I didn't. However, I waited for about 15 minutes and no one even asked why I was there and there wasn't anyone to speak with. Luckily, the therapist for my appointment came out as I was in tears and just about to leave. Eric is a nice guy and slowly calmed me down. I thought I was in pretty good shape when Ieft, but that was not to be! I received very little instruction on the machine other than how to change the filters, the sim card and how to turn it on. The mask was uncomfortable and didn't work properly. After several days, I called and asked what to do, also contacting the MD. Also, the machine wasn't registering any info. I took in the sim card and got a new mask. After two nights, that one was worse, keeping both me and my husband awake with whistling and darth vader sounds. After not having my calls and e mails returned, I finally got a hold of someone about the mask. they don't recommend anything and left it to me to figure out what would work. How would I know!! got another mask; got it home and found it didn't fit the machine I have, so no therapy last night. Sent an e mail and got a very crank call in the am. Apparently it is my fault that I didn't take out the "white thing" in the tube that I still can't get out. What do you think will happen when you just hand someone a plastic bag and send them off without instructions. I mentioned to Lynnette that they should have some instructions given when supplying a patent with a new product; She angrily stated "she would keep it in mind". Turns out, my machine does lots of things, as I figured out while playing with it-it does end out the info and has lots of settings for humidity, temperature, mask, etc. Unless you are an expert and know what you need, I wouldn't step foot in here! read more

A medical supply company is not something you generally look to Yelp to find, or to schedule something to make your entertainment complete, however I want to give credit where it is due. I visited he Everett Norco location after being diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. My treatment included a COAP machine supplied by Norco. Rather than billing insurance and getting me out the door, I was scheduled to attend a class to learn about my machine. Rob lead the class which included about 10 other people. While presenting informative details, he and the others helped to address each persons questions with accuracy and respect. We each demonstrated opening and adjusting seals and functions on our machine. Each machine was preset with our individual Rx. We all left knowing how to get the most out of our treatment, armed with details and an offer to call in if we had any questions emerge later. Kudos to Rob and the staff at Norco, as the efficiency and professionalism were more than I expected. While it don't wish my diagnosis on anyone, if you happen to need service, this location can certainly put you in good hands. read more

I've had to call them multiple times to check the status of the equipment that I ordered from them. They've never called me back when they said they would. They also seem to always be confused on what to do. I get the impression that they don't care about what they do or the people they serve. I would not recommend them. read more

They NEVER answer the phone. You'll get transferred to the "manager" who also doesn't answer the phone, but you can leave a voice mail. Doesn't help though, you won't get a call back. I even tried to call the Norco in Boise Idaho, and the same thing happened!! I will be asking my doctor to send and future medical supply requests to another supplier. Actually, the above description doesn't fit either (I have not experienced better). We were so happy to dump APRIA because of their incompetency & lack of service, for Nordco in Everett. Apparently its an employee owned business. We made an apptmt, couldn't get in because no stairs plus construction, until my husband drove on the sidewalk to park! Had to wait 30 min. at least , but finally got help from Debby who was very helpful. Somehow that changed, as we've been leaving calls for her to call us back re our order and the operator just says: I'll have her call you first thing tomorrow. Rolling eyes. Haven't had a return call yet. I swear I wish there was competition in this area, so many people need these products. I'm left very disappointed with Nordco in Everett. What a sweet young man, and was pretty much the kindest person I've met for a long time. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I have been waiting over 3 weeks for a response from them. I have called they blow me off saying its insurance-WRONG! I work in this field it does NOT take 3 weeks for an approval. The first call I made the lady was chomping her lunch in my ear on the phone. The second call they told me to do my research so I was prepared! I have no idea what I'm preparing for isn't this YOUR JOB to help the customer!? This place doesn't give 2 S*()&# about the customer. Their Billing Dept. is a Nightmare. Could Never get Norco to bill my Husband's insurance company. Had to send back his oxygen machine because they would NOT bill his insurance. Drs have records of sending Norco the OK for oxygen 4 different times but Norco had only the first one. By the time they figured out what they did wrong I was out $400.00 that his insurance was suppose to pay for. They also were a night mare to work with when my husband CPAP machine was to be paid off. Again I lost $$ that I had paid and never was refunded after machine was paid off. . Today I was informed that it was too late to bill insurance so they were writing the balance off as they had records of the many unanswered calls I made over the last 16 months. In all those calls I was told a supervisor would call me back and Today was the first time I spoke to a supervisor when I refused to get off the phone until I spoke to one read more

From the time the wheelchair order was put in until I received it, was over 5 weeks. Thank god I was able to borrow one in the mean time. Turns out they cancelled my order after transferring it from the Seattle store. Once I got on the phone with them the last time the girl was able to sort things out and was pleasant to deal with, but what should be a fairly easy process dragged on and on. Horrible customer service!!! I was prescribed a CPAP and went thru Norco Everett for supplies. I called 3 different times and was never able to get needed supplies. They never listened to what the doctor wanted me to get but instead they talked thru me so instead of stop using my CPAP I had to change supply companies to get the supply to successfully use my CPAP. Had my CPAP for 3 months and haven't been able to successfully use use the equipment. read more

When I first went in to them in May for my CPAP machine there was no receptionist to be seen, but she showed up in a few minutes. No seating for waiting customers in a company that deals with handicap supplies...hmm. I happen to be 79 and have leg problems, so a chair would have been nice for my wobbly legs. Since this was a new experience never having dealt with a CPAP machine, Debra very competently introduced me to and instructed me on my new machine. Since then I've had several occasions to call them ordering new supplies. The treatment I received over the phone was incredibly condescending on two of the phone calls. These gals talked down to me as if I hadn't two brain cells to rub together, with a cranky, I don't have time for you and you're stupid, tone of voice. One of them telling me I should have learned that when I was shown how to operate the machine. What? That was 4 months previous and wasn't a thing to be checked on frequently. The gal, Tiana/Kiana (not sure of the spelling) today was the topper! How she was hired as a customer service rep is beyond me - she should not be dealing with people at all! This woman talked to me like a child with a major attitude defending herself to a scolding parent. I was expecting a shipment of a particular piece of tubing and filters that another employee said would be sent hadn't arrived. Obviously I wasn't understanding how the supply issue worked, but her attitude, arguing with me, talking down to me, and tone of voice didn't help the situation at all. Finally after being berated and made to feel extremely stupid, I got it. After telling me the tubing I needed came only with the mask, over and over, and telling me they'd already shipped the 6 ft. tubing and doubling up on dates, it became clear to me that who ever I had spoken to over a week ago had not sent the shorter tubing and filters...sigh. No phone call, just not sent out. She did finally say that she would send out the mask with the required tubing - we'll see if it really does arrive. I did tell her she could have been a little nicer about it and that she could use some classes in customer service. I have contacted my doctor about a different supply company and will go with them. My recommendation is that if you live in close proximity to Norco and can go in for customer service, you will probably be treated well. If you live a good distance away, as I do, and need phone assistance, forget it! read more

I have been a caregiver for a medically fragile individual for 16 yrs. During this period I have been dealing with many medical supply businesses. I must say that Norco stands out as a very professional and worthy company. You will ALWAYS be able to talk on the phone to a real person that actually works there, not thru an answering service taking a message ( someone will call you back) like the other companies. Norco will try to meet all your needs. If unable to (medicare reasons) they will offer you the best alternative that will work for you. Recently I was in such a situation. There was one staff person that stood out during my ordeal with medicare. Her name is Deanna. She was very thoughtful and kind. She explained how the system works and options available. She seems to have a special understanding of the needs of each client and frustrations often involved. She makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. In regards to the reviewer who stated Norco appeared horrid, sterile and old fashioned, they are so wrong. The inside of this company has a large open area with new equipment to look at as well as a very updated appearance. There is also a nice waiting area with free coffee and cookies daily. I appreciate Norco and am glad I found them. read more

I took my C-pap machine in 3 different times to find out why the water/heater was not working. I was told there was nothing wrong with my machine. Second time I was told they turned it up. 3 rd time I was told they changed the air flow. Well I lived with this for over a year. Massive sinus problems. Finally I went to my yearly Pulmonary Doctor appointment and in 5 minutes it was fixed. The heater had not been enabled. All this time it wasn't working because it had never been activated. Also the air pressure was over the top and that was turned down for me. In other words this company knew less about their product than the Doctors. read more

Absolutely a great experience, all thanks to Terri !! My first visit was for compression leggings, and Terri was fast, friendly and efficient to help me get things done. I loved my experience with her so much, I made sure to come back for the breast pump I needed after delivery. On my second visit, she even remembered me by name and recalled details from our last conversation about vacation. Medical supplies aren't all that exciting of a thing normally, but when someone can take a normal experience and make your day better through it, that's GREAT customer service. We walk-in know when even looks at you no one's there to help you no one's there to tell you what to do. I don't very often do reviews but I've absolutely hated working with Norco. I really trusted their staff to give me accurate information about what I was expected to pay, but when I later received a huge bill, I was told I'd misunderstood and now owed them quite a lot of money. They gave me all kinds of information about how the system works and why I owed them that much money-- but of course none of it was information I was given before I signed my name. Figures! I felt really taken advantage of and really upset about the whole thing but figured I was stuck with that situation because I agreed to trust they had my best interests at heart and were telling me the truth when I signed my name. The whole thing left left me in tears and I had to pay a massive sum that has gutted my budget and left me unsure how I'll make ends meet now. And, salt to the wound, I could have bought my own piece of equipment with what I paid them and owned it outright without all this stress! If you have to work with them, I'd suggest you write down the name of the person you spoke to and what they told you because otherwise you're at their mercy when they say 'I can't think of who would have told you that.' Try to get a signature or have a witness. At this place it's your word against theirs. On top of all of that, when I was venting my bad experience to my friend, she said she's had something similar happen, receiving a $600 bill for compression socks! She told me she thinks their billing department seems like a mess and I think I have to agree. Something is going on there. Cherry on top: Their handicap entrance button that opens the door for you from the street didn't even work. Seriously, what the heck. A place that provides equipment for the injured and disabled has an accessibility door button that doesn't even work. Wow. I'll say what I tell all my friends or those I meet who need medical equipment: If you have a choice... don't choose Norco. You might have an okay experience but you might also get a huge bill for low-end, basic equipment. I've had fantastic experiences with other medical suppliers in Everett. Fast, friendly, informative, accurate, compassionate, and very clear with how everything works and what to expect. Unless you like a gamble, go somewhere else! read more

As I was sitting waiting for my appointment time I was reading the reviews on Yelp. I was seriously concerned about a lot of issues that were mentioned. When I walked in there was a lot of health care equipment on display. Various chairs... Wheel chairs... Sleeping machines... Pillows and the list goes on and on. You have to walk through all of the equipment, which is for sale and in the middle of the floor is the customer service desk. The people seemed friendly that work behind the counter. It was obvious that there was one person that was training. I was greeted and taken care of by a person who wasn't a 110% friendly but she also wasn't unfriendly... She was just busy. The person that really made an impact on me was Jennifer. She was very polite and friendly and a breath of fresh air. I didn't have a lot of interaction with Jennifer there at the facility but what I did get was overall very very nice. The person that really stands out in my head is a gentleman by the name of Eric he explained everything to me that I needed, how the insurance works and when I can get new equipment issued to me through my insurance. Basically everything having to do with the reason that I was there. At no time did I feel like I was elderly or this problem was only pertaining to the elderly... Obese... Smokers... none of that.
