Peter has been my FAVORITE sushi chef for over 16 years, since my daughter was in the 7th grade, and finding him again at Crazy Brother Sushi honestly felt like coming home. He has always been amazing, consistent, and truly talented. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with care. On top of that, the experience is personal. We bought so much food here that we literally had a feast and had to take a lot home. First of all, I'm vegetarian, so when I find a restaurant with vegetarian options, I want to try as much of it as I can. I ended up ordering spicy edamame, vegetable egg rolls, veggie rolls, tempura veggie rolls, and vegetable yakisoba. My sister, who's a meat eater, ordered calamari, California rolls, beef fried rice, beef yakisoba, and a new Korean bbq dish that wasn't on the regular menu, but there was a picture of it on the wall by our table. In addition, we each also got a bowl of miso soup and a small salad that came free of charge with our meal, which I appreciate since sushi rolls by themselves don't really fill me up. Everything tasted good and was filling and even now after eating some of the leftovers, it all still tastes good. The place itself is nicely decorated with a bunch of police patches behind the counter while on the walls there's Japanese artwork. The only hiccups I had was when I first came in I immediately asked for 2 waters. I got a nonverbal "Mm-hmm," so I repeated it again and got the same response, but a little more annoyed. Maybe it's a cultural thing where I was expecting an actual "Yes" and in Japan it's just a noise of acknowledgement, but once I started ordering so much food the waitress was much nicer to us. The 2nd was when we had to wait for the last dish to come out when we were already packed and ready to leave, but that was more on us since we added the Korean bbq last minute. The last has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but the plaza it's in. If you're unfamiliar with it, I'll tell you right now that the parking situation is a nightmare! Basically, the parking lot is a long narrow stretch sandwiched in-between with the various restaurants and shops on one side, and the main street on the other side, so what ends up happening is all the good spots right next to the place you want to go to get filled up fast and you have to try and make a U-turn and find parking far away. Meanwhile, a bunch of other cars are trying to do the same thing while other cars are trying to come in off the street. It's horrible! It's an accident waiting to happen! I hate this plaza and whoever designed it! Anyway, if you're willing to put up with the parking situation, the restaurant and food are good enough for you to forget about it until you're trying to leave. read more

We ordered Door Dash from Crazy tonight. Lordy Be!! For me: The Crazy Bros Roll. I like to get whatever the owner named after the place. Has spicy crabmeat, shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy tuna, albacore, green onion, eel sauce, spicy mayo, masago, and deep fried string onions. The onions were a little much but not a distraction. Mrs. Yelper got Popcorn Shrimp roll: in: crabmeat, avocado on top and inside deep fried shrimp, eel sauce, masago, spicy mayo, green onion. She devoured it. I hate paying $20 for delivery but I LOVE having cocktails with Mrs. Yelper while someone else drives for my chow. It was freekin' delicious. The service was really top notch. We split a meal 3 ways on 3 different credit cards and our server handled it easily. She also offered wasabi and ginger when I asked for a to go box. When one of my companions didn't know how to use chopsticks, she gave her the chopstick helper to help her use them and also offered a fork. one of the BEST sushi spots my husband and i have been to. we cleared our plates completely. all the workers were extremely friendly and welcoming. their service was very quick and on point. we ordered a good variety: salmon roll, alaskan roll, yellowtail sushi. each one of those was PERFECT. so fresh & it melts in your mouth! i ordered a matcha and even THAT was perfectly made. they played great music as well, environment was just phenomenal. i would 10000% recommend this place to everyone. read more

I feel so lucky to have found this spot! Felt like such a hole in the wall spot! Walking in we were greeted immediately. The customer service is impeccable! I was extremely surprised and shocked by how CHEAP the prices here are! This is definitely the most affordable sushi place I've been too! The sushi quality was TOP NOTCH! This is by far some of the best sushi I've had for such an AMAZING price! Their rolls are quite filling as well! The rolls had an extreme robust taste and were absolutely fresh! The Maui roll had a strong pineapple flavor sauce that paired amazingly with the dish. All four rolls that I ordered were equivalently delicious to be honest. They served their sushi with purple rice which was a first for me, but it was so GOOOOOOOOD and I'm honestly confused as to why other sushi spots don't do this. (Small fact: purple rice they serve with the sushi is actually so healthy and higher in protein than regular white sushi rice :D) I will definitely be coming back here! read more

Great sushi in the middle of the dessert (if you're a biology nerd--technically chaparral)?! Was surprisingly amazing. Try the mango roll; I highly recommend it (if you like mango). Everything I had was tasty. The food presentation was a work of art! The service was great, albeit there was no one there; so didn't have a real opportunity to challenge the service. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. Nice little tables outside if you want to enjoy fresh air, instead of eating inside. Prices are very reasonable. The happy hour pricing (which I wasn't able to take advantage of), is unseen. Parking is no problem--it's located in a strip mall with parking right in front of the restaurant. I'm not out in Norco very often, but definitely will plan on coming here next time I'm out (and hopefully can plan to stop by during Happy Hour). read more

I had to get my nails done and wanted to try the sushi at this location. Needless to say, this is my NEW favorite sushi local spot !!!!!! The service was excellent. The lady taking my order was super sweet and made sure that my green tea had some honey alongside it. The rice they use for the California roll is really good. I had also gotten the cucumber maki roll and Alaskan roll. I was not at all disappointed. What can I say, sushi is amazing and tasted fresh. Portion size was pretty big so no need to worry how many plates of sushi you will need to order for your meal. Service was fast and tends to every need that is requested. It's not a big dinning area but plenty enough so just be aware with the time you plan to eat here. This review is solely for their takeout since I haven't had an opportunity to dine in. Overall, you can count me as a regular here! Loved how they offer purple rice instead of white rice - it changes the texture slightly but in a good way! The rolls were filling, fresh and reasonable priced. My colleague recommended that I try out this place. And since I always look for a new sushi place to try, I go for it! The restaurant is truly a hidden gem, as other diners suggested. The atmosphere is more intimate due to the size of this restaurant. Thus, it conflicted me that I didn't want to rate the place so high because it would attract people to come and cause a long wait in the future--however, credit where credit's due. Their rolls are made using purple rice, which holds much higher antioxidants than regular white sushi rice. I didn't feel guilty as much while eating them here. This restaurant knows how to stand out and separate itself from its competitors. The rolls are delicious and at a decent size. Even the staff here were very attentive, and several of them checked on us at different time intervals making sure that we enjoyed our experience and made sure our water cups were always filled. What I also love the most is that the staff here have excellent communication with one another and make sure to voice their concern for each table they service. read more

Ate here on a whim when the place we were going to nearby had too long a wait and came away satisfied. We ended up ordering four different rolls along with a couple pieces of salmon nigiri. The fish was a nice quality, fresh and the rolls were unique while packing a good amount of flavor. Wasn't a huge fan of the purple-tinted rice they use for their rolls (kinda unappetizing) and the Death Valley roll they set on fire table side definitely had a bit of an odd flavor on it from the fire. Regardless, the other three rolls were quite delicious if not a bit on the saltier side. Service was friendly. It's a small place without a ton of tables and there was a decent sized wait when we left on a Saturday evening so I suggest calling ahead to see if there's a long wait time. Not bad at all. This place is a hole in a wall that gets what people want. Fresh and huge servings of sushi. It isn't a ayce place though. It's run by Koreans hence the sushi salad is quite similar to the korean version and not the american version lol. Very generous with the cuts of fish as well! The rolls are served with a twist. They use mountain rice if Im not mistake. It's colored purple which is pretty good on its own. Healthier and makes you feel full more. The presentation and the service size is pretty big as well. They have a sushi bar so your nigiris or sashimi are cut fresh. My only suggestion is to use japanese white rice to make the nigiris. There's a texture and taste difference that you will notice if you're really fond of nigiris. read more
