There is no reason to go to the ghost town of The Plaza anymore EXCEPT for this coffee shop. It's a working roastery and the inside is totally stripped down minimalist but that adds to the vibe here. I was surprised how busy the place was at 3 in the afternoon (but it was a holiday). There were lots of people with their laptops open and a few more just having good conversations. The wait was a bit longer than normal---only one barista who was also the cashier. It was worth the wait! Don't forget about Nordaggio's! It's one of the few non-chain coffee places in South Tulsa.

Love Nordaggio's coffee! Their coffee is so good and they sell baked goods from the delicious French Bakery next door (Saint Amon Baking). You can buy some baked goods at Nordaggio's or they are totally ok if you buy from Saint Amon and bring it in to Nordaggio's. I love the coffee here-it is made with care and has a great flavor. The people that work here are very friendly. I love supporting local businesses. Nordaggio's is a great place to meet up with friends; they have quite a few tables and comfy seating. I usually come here by myself when I need to work on my ipad and focus. It's becoming one of my favorite hangouts.

This little hidden gem in the strip center on the south west corner of 81st and Lewis is the best coffee spot in town! On the latest visit i trued the hive mind off the summer menu. The lil runt and the house blend drip coffee are also great as i have had those in the past. The atmosphere inside is calm and easy going and lends for a great spot to chill out and relax with your coffee. The staff are always friendly and ready to help also very knowledgeable. They have a limited selection of pastries and sandwiches for eating as well. Give this place s try and you wont regret it.

Coffee is exceptional, but you'll want to make sure you are a coffee fan because they are not super helpful on educating or helping you figure out what you might like. Choices are limited compared to a lot of coffee shops, but I will say the ice blended mocha was very good! The music and ambiance is nice.

This is a true coffee drinker's coffee shop. The coffee served is strong, bold, with prominent bitter and burnt flavors. Tamed with steamed milk in a latte, it is an appealing cup of coffee. I believe Nordaggio's Coffee roaster provides coffee to several other coffee shops in the Tulsa area. Most likely their main business focus. Running an espresso machine and serving coffee their secondary priority. The service is exceptionally slow. The guy running the espresso machine (the only person making coffee) spent 15 minutes dinking around, making and tasting coffee, but never produced a cup for the customers. There were two other cups of coffee in front of us. It was 20 minutes before those were set on the counter. The young lady taking orders at the register had disappeared. She returned; I got in line to ask about our to go order. She got cups out and finally we got coffee. The employees radiate indifference. The owners are obviously unconcerned about customer service. The three stars are for the coffee only. We enjoyed our drinks, however a return visit is unlikely.

I love stopping by my old stomping grounds in Tulsa and I always make sure to hit Nordaggio's. This is a great little coffee shop to study at and is near Oral Roberts Univeristy, so a lot of students usually study here. The inside is cozy with a beautiful fireplace in the winter and classic thick wood tables, high tops, and leather chairs. The seating has changed a little since I studies here as a student back in 2012, but it is still a great place to get some work done. The coffee is outstanding and has a beautiful texture and creamy roast taste. I usually go for the iced or hot mocha but sometime enjoy a nice cortado to just enjoy the roast with a little milk. The service was good, not amazing, but efficient. I may be old fashion but I still enjoy a nice smile and a little chit chat with the baristas but some places are all business. No one was ride, I just like the extra personal touch of genuine conversation and didn't really catch that was their thing. Overall, fantastic coffee and highly recommended.

While this isn't a new concept and countless others use this famous phrase, we're taking a break from food to focus on some delicious libations. Today, we're looking at Nordaggio's Coffee, located off Lewis next to Saint Amon Baking Co. in Tulsa, OK. Owner Matt and Barista Alyssa proudly presented the Island Boy and an original creation, which is a fun riff on their "Hive Mind." Both drinks are iced, perfect for the sweltering 95-degree weather in Tulsa. With a burning thirst and a persistent sweet tooth, let's dive into some coffee. Let's drink. The aesthetic at Nordaggio's is casual and fun, featuring high ceilings, a relaxed environment with couches, comfortable chairs, and high tops. In the back, several large coffee bean sacks add to the aesthetic appeal. Matt and Alyssa are wonderful individuals who provided excellent service. Matt was relaxed and attentive, while Alyssa was spirited and sparky, the perfect yin and yang combination. The Island Boy features a calamansi Espresso Tonic. The drink starts with notes of coffee, giving way to acidic lemon and lime, which, when combined with the coffee, create an almost tangerine flavor profile. Delicate end notes of citrus and coffee linger on the palate. It's a well-composed drink. The second drink is a slightly altered "Hive Mind," featuring oat milk, honey, cinnamon, and lavender. This drink is simply glorious. Initial notes of nutty oat and honey give way to delicate coffee, with beautiful bursts of cinnamon in each sip. There's a lovely floral aftertaste from the lavender. Overall, Nordaggio's offers a fantastic, casual atmosphere with a wonderfully comfortable aesthetic. Matt and Alyssa are a dynamic duo, providing excellent customer service. Each drink was well-balanced, with various flavors featuring at different times on the palate. This is particularly impressive as each sip presented a beginning, middle, and end flavor profile rather than a singular flavor dominating the drink. Overall, a beautifully mixed coffee combination and the perfect drink for a hot Thursday. Well done! This is a very nice and reliable coffee shop. The people who work here haven't failed once within my two years of coming here. It's very clean, and there are outlets that are easy to access for homework. I'd say one of my favorite things is the fact that they have good pasties, some of which are from the French pastry shop across from them. Saturdays are always nice cause they have a nice spread out for the mornings. Typically don't write reviews, but I didn't think the one star reviews on this place did it any justice. This place has been around since the eighties/nineties according to my Mom, who was a college student at ORU then. read more

Long time, established coffee shop in town. Been around since 1998 or 1999. Their coffee is roasted on site, which makes the shop smell wonderful inside to this coffee lover. My wife had their chai and said it was the best one in town. I had a pour over coffee that was fantastic. Also bought 2 bags of beans. Didn't know until I was purchasing everything that our drinks were free because you get a free drink with a purchase of coffee beans. Neat! Great place to stop and enjoy a great drink. read more

They have the best lattes but be careful who you get as your barista and always get a receipt! Ordered 2 lattes and received coffee and cream instead. When I mentioned it, the guy sharply said "you ordered coffee!" So I just left with the coffee disappointed. But I learned my lesson to always ask for a receipt. read more

So sad this place has declined in quality so badly. I haven't seen any of the great baristas that inspired my previous review for a long time, in place are people who have no place making coffee, or serving for that matter. Out most recent cappuccinos were a mess, ugly looking with no taste. Bummer. I hope the beans I bought still retain some of the integrity of the cafe of old, otherwise I'll have no reason to go back. 9/12/15 update. Booming Christian music too loud to block out with headphones. That's the last straw, I'm giving you up Nordaggios. read more

This is basically my home away from home. I have been a regular at "Nords" for the past 14 years. I am usually here several nights a week. So where do I start? Well first I have to say that they have an excellent Chai Tea Latte and that is usually my go-to drink. I really have enjoyed everything I have had here so no complaints on the drinks. The baristas here are all (for the most part) friendly and willing to engage you in conversation. Nordaggios recently went thru a major remodel...At first things were a little rough I will admit and I wondered if Nords would ever feel the same. Well things are definitely up. They have artwork back up on those previously bare walls and they have brought back one of those couches that all of us regulars have loved over the years. The new furniture is not quite as comfortable but THAT couch...well its just really really comfortable. The new bar is very cool and has lots of interesting coffee "contraptions" on it. My only complaint is the lack of plugins after the remodel. Hopefully that will change. I love going to Nords, the coffee and yes the chai is great! Come by and say "Hi" sometime....just don't be creepy please. read more

Nordaggio's is my go to meeting place. Coffee is roasted on site; so just being there is an aromatic experience. Their coffee is from various countries with some of their offerings from a specific region grown in a particular field. I rather like their Ethiopian varieties that are in a class by themselves. Their standard blend is great too. I took my grandsons to see the roasting process and have the master roaster explain the precise steps. A very welcoming crew makes you feel at home. Yummy coffee. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. Organic coffee and it is yummy! Lots of comfy furniture and even a fireplace for those colder days. Tables for laptop work and patio deleting too. You will love this place. One thing I would change/add... More color on the walls! Take a few colors from your furniture and either pant a wall that color or add some bright artwork to a wall! Especially behind the counter! Maybe blow up your menu on the back wall above the sink and have pics or something. It would add a LOT and for a little money! read more

I have been coming to Nordaggio's for nearly twenty years in my travels through Tulsa. It is in my top five favorites in the USA and abroad. Great coffee. Flavor and kick is clean off the chain. Not sure how they make it so good. The paintings are made of coffee beans. Amazing. Enjoy~ read more

Everywhere I look they have different hours posted. Their website will say midnight, while Google says 10, Yelp says 11, but in reality it's 9. More recently they even changed their hours to 6:30pm... SERIOUSLY??! 6:30pm? They are located across from a college for Pete's sake! I'm pretty sure they are deliberately trying to run customers away. Don't forget about the Starbucks close by, the coffee shop in the River Spirit, or even Robin's in Jenks. You got options, yo! read more

Nord's coffee will definitely keep you up all night. They brew some strong coffee! Find it filled with ORU and VBC students. I prefer going in the evenings when it's less crowded. They keep it really cold inside, have had to go outside multiple times from freezing. Great atmosphere for studying! read more

Pretty solid spot in Tulsa. From Austin, so when I was in town I needed to find some craft coffee. Espresso was slightly over extracted, but a delicious finish. The cup of joe was quite under extracted with a watery feel to it. But pleased to stop by the shop while in town, and would do it again! read more

Nordaggio's is an excellent coffee and pastry place on 81st and Lewis. The pastries come from a French Bakery in Bixby. Their prices are excellentvand the Cappuccino is top notch and you could have it with milk or cream. I am lookinG forward to going back very soon. read more

I viewed another Yelper's post that stated, "this place has gone down hill". I would try to be more polite yet I would still have to agree with the aforementioned statement. My wife and I purchased a Groupon for the coffee shop that read French Pressed Coffee. We joked on the way to get it that they would just give us drip coffee instead. (Very pretentious I know). When we arrived we realized that we were prophets foretelling our own future. The barista immediately poured us drip coffee in place of the french press. No biggie, we were happy to just visit and enjoy some coffee. If you have read any of my other posts you would know I LOVE coffee and consider it to be a vital part of my life. I would imagine that the owner of Nordaggio's feels the same, he does in fact own a coffee shop. The product being pushed out is not of the same quality I feel it once was. You cannot always expect your hourly help to put there heart and soul into your business as you would but that very well could be the problem. When you step in for coffee you want an experience. That is why people go to Starbucks, you get an experience. You get a strange spelling of your name doodled on the side of your cup, they are friendly and they have an unmistakable atmosphere. When you are in Starbucks you "KNOW" that you are in Starbucks. That is the feel that Nordaggio's is currently lacking. You aren't sure what to think or even what you are getting. This local spot needs its identity back. I hear great things about the owner and I know this place can return to its former glory. Room for improvement. read more

I love coffee and spend a lot of time here. It is one of the few good coffee shops in south Tulsa. In-house roast. The atmosphere is comfortable and lots of regulars so there is a good vibe in the place. read more

Really was looking forward to this place today but waiting 15 plus minuted for a coffee was rough. The coffee literally taste great and it's really quality however I believe ownership is really leaving your customers in the lurch with having one person behind the counter trying to make so many boutique coffees for people while I was there a handful of people were ready to leave and forget about their coffees including myself. The gentleman behind the counter was also great however it really seems ownership and management has no regard for customers time or even how their employee looks by himself trying to make coffee is that take 15 minutes to get. read more

The barista thought it was his job to discuss whether or not killing in moderation is an acceptable course of action. Don't go here without your headphones in. We had to leave after 10 minutes because the worker was so incredibly annoying. Coffee was great. read more

Great little coffee spot off of Riverside. Lots of little cozy spots to sit and work for awhile. Great WiFi, and of course excellent coffee. Had a Cortado that was outstanding! I will be working here more in the future! read more

I probably spent way too much time and money at this place during my four years as an undergrad at ORU. The lattes are impecable. The BigTrains are expensive and a great way to accomplish the dreaded "Freshmen 15." A wonderful place to study with consistent wireless access and ample seating, but don't expect to read anything other than a lit computer screen because they keep the lights pretty low. read more

The place is typically busy full of students doing their work and you won't be able to find a seat as the entire place is quite small. Great Cappuccino but I would not hang out here. read more

The best cold brew in Tulsa (by far!) because it's strong but also extremely flavorful. The iced runt is also a classic and a Nordaggio's original for those who something a little sweeter. Pair your coffee with a warm cinnamon scone, they are excellent. read more

Just bought beans and a cold brew this morning! The cold brew is absolutely fantastic and I'm very picky and snobby with my coffee. The coffeeshop is really cool inside, nice craft coffee vibe that I love. Badly wished I could of gotten one of their Iced Runts because it looked super delicious, unfortunately I don't handle cows milk well and have a busy day ahead of me :( I'm sure they could of subbed Almond Milk but i would of wanted the drink made as it comes. Next time! read more

A wonderful coffee shop to meet a friend or catch up on some studying. There's a decent amount of seating inside plus some additional seating outside. Friendly service. I got a cold brew and it was delicious! My friend got an iced runt and she loved it as well. Will definitely be back! read more

Rude. As. Hell. Owner smelled like alcohol, approached us... AND ONLY us & another table of college students. Asked if we had bought drinks & then proceeded to tell us this "was not a library". Unprofessional. Use to come here every day & BUY coffee every single time. Not anymore. Go to Cirque Coffee or Topecca instead. Even the Starbucks down the street has more manners. People like this don't deserve your money. No way to treat a customer. read more

Hands down the best coffee I've ever had. These guys definitely know what they're doing. I walked in needing a pick-me-up and simply asked for "the strongest drink" they had. The baristas asked a few questions and made a recommendation. The caramel latte with extra shots of espresso was the best I've ever had. So good & definitely got the job done! read more

I like their drip coffee and they have this really spectacular drink called the Sunny Spro (lemonade, sparkling/tonic water, lavender, and espresso) that took me by surprise and became one of my all-time favorite drinks! And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. Can't wait to go back, this place is just doing everything right.

If you are used to milk tea from popular boba tea franchises like Tapioca Lounge, Sharetea, Gongcha, Tiger Sugar, and even Kung Fu Tea, then I am sorry to say...the milk tea at Hey Boba and similar privately owned boba tea shops taste "diluted" and sometimes "powdery." Hey Boba tea does not taste powdery though, but does taste diluted. I want to support local businesses which is why I gave it a 4 stars. For me, the best boba tea shop in Tulsa is Kung Fu Tea even though Kung Fu Tea is my least favorite out of all the boba tea franchises.

She was witty, and attentive, refilling our drinks, checking on us, providing suggestions. I ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes. She offered to bring complementary bread to go with that which was really thoughtful of her. My sister ordered the bowtie pasta while her husband ordered the Cajun chicken. They asked for some bread as well and she did bring them some. Everyone really enjoyed the meals.

This place has the most exotic coffee selection in Tulsa no doubt. I have never tasted such rich coffee flavors in my life and I'm a daily coffee nut. Go in and get yourself an espresso and sip that thing nice and slow. It's literally like your drinking the earth. The choices are super exotic, they had coffee from Asia and I've never had that before. They roast their own beans in the back. I enjoy sitting on a burlap bag of coffee beans while waiting for my order. The staff know coffee. I'm always searching for ultra blonde acidic coffee. This is a real old school coffee shop.
