I understand and respect store hours; however, given how close I was to closing and the size of the purchase, I was hoping for a bit of flexibility. What concerned me most was the interaction itself. Instead of coming to the door and speaking with me directly, the employee gestured from inside--shaking her head and signaling with her arms that the store was closed. A simple, polite response such as, "I'm sorry, we're closed, please come back tomorrow," would have felt much more respectful and professional. Earlier, when I asked about placing an item on hold, I also felt somewhat dismissed. I had to repeat myself multiple times, and the communication made me feel as though I was not being clearly understood or assisted. I value good customer service and understand that retail work can be demanding. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that future interactions can be more courteous and customer-focused. I've never heard of Ruti before and now it's my "go to" the store. Angelica helped me and she was kind, friendly and professional- the perfect sales person. You knew she was there if you needed any help at all, but she was never pushy. I bought two dresses and a skirt. Along with being well-made, the pieces are timeless. I know I will use them and love them, for a very long time. Two days after I purchased my clothing, one of the dresses went on sale. I called the store and talked to Natalia. Again, another great sales person. She was so efficient. On the phone, she returned the dress, charged me for the same dress at the sale price and gave me an instant credit for the difference. Amazing. If I could, I would give the store, the clothing and the sales people a 10 star rating.

I found a couple of items I can't wait to wear. the pajama sets they have are top quality. They are very similar to the sets I've found in high end bed/linen company's in town.I've also purchased a cute top that gets me many compliments and a leather purse that transforms into a backpack. I received an itemized list, via email, of my items, and received checks when items sold. You can also ask for your items to be returned to you after the 60 day period. I think some of the items were missing (not sold, but not returned to me), but as I was going to donate the remaining items to Goodwill, it didn't bother me much. I didn't want to have the hassle of posting on Buy nothing and I also wanted my items to reach a new home since they were in good shape (instead of ending up in a rag bin). I really didn't get much money back relative to the value of the items, but it was convenient and easy. I think they do look for more recognizable designer labels, and you shouldn't expect warm service. Otherwise, my overall experience was fair.

I think prices are fair for the quality you're paying for. I got the legend platform for $168 and a leather belt for $90. I really like Thursdays boots because they're on the lighter side versus my Chelsea Doc Martens, which are very heavy. I plan on selling them and keeping my Thursday boots.
