This was my first time in a Nordstrom Rack (and I've never shopped at a regular Nordstrom), so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, I thought it was ok, but I don't think I'll be going back. Some of the clothes were organized by size and some were organized by brand (usually the higher end brands). Shoes are organized by size. I wasn't impressed by the prices, though. I was hoping to find amazing deals, but almost everything I looked at was over $30 and the average was about $65...for me, that's too much. They also had beauty/skincare items...but they didn't seem discounted at all ($8 for a neutrogena product, $9 for Burt's Bees....). Overall, I wasn't impressed, but I'm still glad I checked it out. read more

Very disappointed. I shopped in the store for an hour and passed several staff members who greeted me and not one said my full face shield was not acceptable. An associate in shoes however told me I could no longer stay in the store with a face shield, that it had to be a cloth mask. I advised her that I have a doctors note and cannot wear cloth masks due to panic attacks. I also advised her that other associates greeted me with no issue. She said it was corporate policy and they should have asked me to leave just as she was. I then explained to her that the day before I shopped at your full line flagship store in Downtown Seattle and was not informed of this policy, and I was greeted and even rang up by more than one sales person with no issues. I had a pleasant experience at your downtown store and was never asked to leave . If this is cooperate policy please have staff inform someone when they first come in the door. I was disappointed to have spent an hour shopping and picking out items only to have to put them down and leave the store because of one associate who seemed to be the only to know this policy. I could have spent my time at a different store had this been communicated upfront. read more

I really like this Nordstrom Rack. The floor plan is pretty spacious, so I don't get the horribly claustrophobic-bump-into-someone-everytime-you-turn-around feeling. I tend to always find something I want here. read more

This is not the most organized Rack but their selection is by far the best in comparison to the other Racks in the area. It takes a bit of digging but go on a weekday when they bring in new shipment and you'll strike some goodies. read more

This is my favorite Rack in the Seattle area. It is a lot larger than Downtown for men and they have a smidge more organization than other Racks. The shoe selection is a little picked over. This is more expected at the high traffic stores except downtown seems to have more NQC returns there. read more

I love this place and their deeply discounted popular shoes and clothing selection but usually when I come here for a retail fix, I need to fight through the crowd jam to find my section of clothing and shoe apparel, then I have to wait extremely long in line to pay for my items. What kind of a sick love affair is this? Well, others had this issue as well and "the rack" responded in kind by reorganizing their space a little better to open up to larger crowds and they also have included a mobile checkout where you can pretty much avoid the long line ups and pay their retail person on the spot! Cool. No more waiting. If you really want to trek down here make sure to sign up for their twitter updates so you know when they replenish their stock. Going there is great, but going there when you know they've brought in some cool items is even greater. read more

This is a hit and miss Nordstorm Rack. The red tag is not worth it in my opinion. High end jeans, pants, and shoes are the best here than Nordstorms and other Nordstorm Racks that I have been to.I recommend getting the Rewards card for cash back on your purchases. Yes! Love this Nordstrom Rack location. It's one of the bigger N.Racks that I've seen, yet still have great clothes and accessories and to offer than the other ones. Although, some things I've noticed over the past year... -downgraded on the jewelry racks! Where I used to get fashion rings (on those mutli swish racks) is now left with only a couple. Less ring selections too. :( -Great bargains on winter jackets/coats!! Love the faux leather (less than $40) or the BP coats. Same style & selection as regular Nordstroms...but cheaper -Lots of choices on accessories! Winter scarves, wallets, gloves, handbags, watches, sunglasses (Score me some Michael Kors glasses for $35) -Tights/Leggings. Great steal! Betsy Johnson tights 2 pairs for $9.50. woohoo! Better than paying $12 at regular price for one pair -Shoes. If you look hard, or come at the right time, you will find some great buys for those killer heels or flats. -Came day after Black Friday-30%. Got my lovely black cardigan for $11. Instead of the sale price for $16. ($32 at regular Nordys) -Some great beauty products like facewash and hair products. -Not so much on cosmetics. They have Stilla, but people open the packaging and makes it look crappy and old. -Avoid weekends!! Lines are crazily long and store is packed -Look in the clearance section. Sometimes I am able to find a deal on shirts/pants. Usually it says additional $25-60% off. -Fairly well organized and clean. Security too. I always end up finding some awesome deals hear. If you want suits and dress shirts, I would look no further. I got 4 Hugo Boss button ups for $50 a piece, where the same shirt would cost me twice that at least at any other store. Love this place. The only downfall is that it is cluttered and hard to find what you want. read more

You simply cannot go wrong with the Nordstrom Rack for quality clothes at a decent price - even out-of-season clothing, which is cool when you're a Seattle-ite going to a "sunny locale" in the middle of Winter in need of lighter clothing, sandals, etc - it's all here for ya. All of them (I've also been to some in other states) are rather "hit or miss" in terms of selection as each store's selection tends to vary, but this one seems to be pretty good as far as Rack's are considered. Sign up for their emails for special offers and sales/discounts/Nordstrom "triple points" days. Always worth a stop if you are a Nordstrom addict and you are in this area, as there is really not....much else quality clothing shopping in the immediate Factoria area IMO unless I'm missing something (pls someone feel free to tell me if I am wrong). read more

Absolute Terrible Service. Very Disappointed. I called the Bellevue Rack Factoria location today to see if they had a jacket. A gentlemen in the Men's World answers the phone after being transferred to him, I believe he said he name was Bernin or Vernon or it could have been Brandon. He was a little difficult to understand but I begin to tell him that I was there 3 weeks ago looking at a jacket and as I was about to tell him that there were plenty of sizes he cuts me off and says "Ohhh no. 3 weeks is a very long time. We probably don't have it" ..... Wow. Anyways, I tell him "we'll hold on now, let me finish" and then with this attitude he says "ok tell me about it, I'm waiting". I told him "sir what's with the attitude? I'm calling to see if you have something and you're throwing this attitude at me" he tells me "so tell me about the item then?!" I was so upset I had to remind him that I was a customer looking to drive over there and he works there and his job description is to help me. He hangs up on me and tells me that if I don't want to come there then that's fine. read more

I have to say I've never been to a Nordstrom Rack before. After hearing all the wonderful things about Nordstrom's business model and customer service and blah blah in school, I wanted to be a customer there. However, the true Nordstrom's is just too pricey for me. Nordstrom Rack is the PERFECT compromise. Although everything is a bit chaotic and unorganized...it turns it into this thrilling hunt like at a thrift store. In addition, the staff was super nice and accommodating. Attn: Manager. I put 3 things on hold (they will only hold until the end of the day) and went back at 8:15 with my husband (they close at 9:30) ... Well, one of the things I put on hold was still on hold ... The girl said sorry she didn't know what happened. Well ... I went to the rack where I had originally found the other two things and what do you know... There they were, side by side on the rack. I guess that means "until the end of the day" really means until "until our staff gets antsy about going home". And it's not like it was inexpensive stuff either ... Shopping on a Saturday is usually hellacious but I went into Nordy's and got a break from the craziness of the rest of the mall! The line was long but it flowed smoothly and quickly thanks to some brilliant organization. My cashier was Ricky who took a genuine interest in my purchase (it was a notebook) ... He asked if I was a writer (no I just obsessively collect cute notebooks truthfully), asked if I wanted to get a Nordy's card but wasn't pushy, and when he asked if I wanted a paper or email receipt he said oh probably paper! It was just the most pleasant checkout experience I've had anywhere let alone here. I hope Ricky is around next time I'm in! (Oh I forgot to mention the amazing Kate Spade always on sale here!!! About a month ago, purchased some shorts and shirts. Just wanted to pay and leave. Customer service lady kept insisting I get the "rewards card". I finally said ok, just so I can get out of there. At the end of the transaction I realized what I had done was sign up for a credit card. Whatever....ok. Fast forward a month and now I'm trying to make a payment on the card. Called Nordstrom customer service and the only method of payment was to give them a check routing number. I don't have a "checking account". I usually just pay everything with my debit card. But that wasn't an option over the phone. My only option was to drive back to the Nordstrom rack on the weekend to make a payment in person and avoid late fees. ...went there today and the lady at the counter ran my card twice and told me it wasn't a REAL debit card. I use this card for everything. And she kind of made a big deal about it and frankly I was embarrassed that she actually thought it was a Wal-Mart gift card or something. It's a pre paid debit card. Anyways, I went to the nearest atm....used my debit card. Went back to Nordstrom rack and just paid the entire bill off. Screw it...I need a Nordstrom card if they don't even make it convenient to pay the dam bill. Like I wanted to in the first place. This might be why Nordstrom is having problems. ...the clothes weren't that great there anyways. At least at the factoria location. read more

A great Rack... lots of VERY high end designer options in clothing and in shoes (big plus for having my size 12!). But do know the labels here even on sale can be spendy... so a lower end variety can be found at Southcenter store.. but for high end, amazing selection... The store was packed today. I had 7 items and stood in the Express lane. My previous experiences with express check out is - they take debit/credit only. No signage of it being 5 items or less. After 15 mins in line, it was finally my turn...or so I thought. Cashier counted my items and told me I had too many things and had to go elsewhere. As a regular customer of Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, this is beyond unacceptable. She could have rung me up and just given me a heads up for next time but instead, we're now #30 in line at main registers. If we had not already spent over an hour shopping, we would've walked out without making the purchase. I still cannot believe cashier refused to ring me up (innocent mistake on my part) after all that time in line and with two items over!!! No signage!!!!!! read more

Nordstrom Rack is always busy as usual. Good deals can be found if you have the time and energy to search through the store. WTF! Never again! I try to return a top on sale for $7.95 and they make me wait for half an hour to check the ticket number and the tag number then said its not the same and this and that....come on that shirt is on sale, wtf are you trying to check I bought it at your store if the ticket and the number is not the same is it my problem? I was so excited to come here and find a good deal on some new jeans that I made it a point to come here. I was pretty disappointed. Maybe going on a Saturday night two hours until closing was probably not a good idea since everything was pretty picked over. The shoes were such a mess, but I did find some really nice designer shoes (e.g. Kate Spade) at reasonable prices. Also had a decent sized home section. I saw a very nice small coffee table there which I wish I would have gotten, but didn't think would make sense to take it back with me to Cali. I guess it's hit or miss with these types of places. You just gotta know when to go and frequently in order to get the gems. For now, I will give this rating but may give it another chance or try the Downtown store that I used to go to next time ... read more

Had a very disappointing event occur at another Nordstrom rack. The manager from this rack took the time to call me back and resolve the issue that had been bothering me. A very BAD and very Crucial issue in my opinion. My matter involved money $ and MY finances and that to me should be more of an indicator of importance than any customer service complaint or even bad product - because I had NO product and this quickly became A HUGE CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE! ( See first review of the new Bellevue / Lincoln center Nordstrom Rack ). At the other store I was promised a call back which I did not get until way after I was promised (she said in or around an hour / didn't get a call back till next day after I took lots of initiative myself to try to solve and wrote a deserving yelp review etc.). Monica (I believe was her name) the GM gave me a call back and handled resolved the situation in a timely matter and did not even have to call me back. Thank you. *** And furthermore if this was resolved over phone in 5 minutes from this store which is completely separate it shows you it was possible to get done at the actual store this issue occurred at, and YES, it did cause me to have cringe in my stomach Lincoln sq. I could not sleep at all especially since you did not have an answering service set up (which hopefully is now fixed). My experience at this Nordstrom Rack was absolutely terrible. The cashier was extremely sassy to me and made unwarranted comments and critiques when I was nothing but polite to her. I left there feeling terrible. I'd give customer service a negative rating if I could. In fact, instead of just not getting any customer service you'll be treated like you're an idiot and leave this place feeling like crap!
