Do you know how your parents scold you for keeping your room a mess before guests come over? "Pick up your clothes!" your mom might say. Well, Nordstrom Rack is like a bigger version of your room, and unfortunately, there is no one to scold the customers who are leaving aisles of clothes and shoes a mess. The place is really messy; people are throwing around clothes, shoes, etc. It's hard to find things, because items are mixed up and all over the place. The deals are quite nice. It is good if you are looking for a specific brand that is usually over-the-top expensive (aka 7 jeans, rock & republic, etc.), since the Rack has great deals and selections on those. Being a fan of non-name brand items, I don't really shop here for jeans. This is a good place to buy shoes, even though it's hard to find your size/style you look. If you do find one, it is probably worth spending money on. Unfortunately, the styles are limiting. Sometimes, I even ask if anyone would wear such shoes! The lines for the registers are LONG. It's hard to get by to go to a section or aisle of the store. I normally shop at Nordstroms and will probably continue to shop there where it's more organized and has a bigger selection. read more

A great selection of discounted menswear and accessories. I started shopping here because they carry work shirts in more fitted sizes than anywhere else. The downside, of course, is that the service is pretty much non-existent. Staff can be seen running around all over the store restocking items and folding shirts, but they are rarely able to help with a question. Although many of the items here actually come from Nordstrom stores, others are obviously shipped in directly. I suspect but cannot confirm that this is especially true in the shoe section. Beware the cheaply-made substitutes and you'll be fine. read more

For my first visit - I must say, it was AMAZING! I could not believe how neat and friendly Nordstrom Rack is. Prices for designer clothing was super affordable and somewhat cheap! This is like Ross' big, sophisticated sister! Of course, the prices aren't as cheap as Ross, but still really good! Men's Lucky jeans were less than $50 and 7 For All Mankind was roughly $100. As for the women's side - lots of Juicy Couture suits for $90 and a wide variety of dresses and jeans ranging from $20-100+. Unfortunately they did not have Rock and Republic jeans on the women's side. =( As for the Canadians reading this - whenever you're down and around Bellevue, you gotta check this place out! In today's retail world of increasing competition and dwindling sales, one would think that a store that built its brand on steller customer service would now strive to maintain, if not upgrade, that feature. One would think. But an 'interesting' (???) policy change thoughout the Nordstrom Rack division indicates just the opposite. After spending much time and effort convincing customers that shopping there was so convenient because - if one was a Nordstrom card holder - there were roving mobile cashiers throughout the store. Therefore, a card-holding customer did not have to stand on the long checkout line. There was no item number restriction, and -- as long as it was being done with the Nordy card -- one could also do returns in that convenient manner It was a mutually beneficial arrangement. As the employees are told to say, " Get a card; get rewarded". But that is no longer the case. Now having one of the store cards doesn't 'reward' you this with convenience.. If you are buying more than 5 items, you CAN'T use the mobile cashier. You MUST stand on the long check out line. If your transaction is a return, you CAN'T use the mobile cashier. You MUST stand on the long check out line. So, if the strategy behind the 'convenience' of the mobiles was to drive credit card applications, what drives this policy? A not-so-subtle way of saying, 'We really really don't want you to return anything so we're going to make it a frustrating experience" ? Does that sound like stellar customer sevice?. read more

I visited Nordstrom Rack to find nice shirts for my husband. He came to make sure they fit correctly. We couldn't find anything that fit him in length. When we would get the next size up, it would fit in length, but the shirt would be much too wide. He did not care for any of the styles. He had the same trouble with finding trousers. If we were shopping for me instead of him, we could have had a successful trip. Unfortunately the men's department doesn't have the same selection as the women's. (They never do.) Its an outlet store without driving an hour to get to. Cheaper than Nordstrom's sale prices but service is far far worse. Can't really even try to compare them. Its a mad house every time I come in, racks and tables of jeans, dress shirts, active wear, etc always look messy - I'll blame the customers since staff are always organizing and cleaning up those lazy folk. My favorite Nordstrom Rack. This location is attached to the Factoria Mall and is about the average size for a Nordstrom Rack. The layout is simple and straightforward. This location is a lot cleaner than some of their other locations, which is a big plus. The staff are super friendly too, something that's not always true for the one downtown. My only complaint is that they don't have both pairs of shoes together, and you have to grab the other one from the shoe counter. Besides that nothing to complain, THE DEALS! read more

Zero stars! Like many before me, I just tried to return a pair of shoes that were a gift back in April. I don't expect shoes to last forever but was also unaware of Nordstrom return policy of 90 days. The original cashier was condescending and I called her on it, she was smug about it and just laughed it off. I'm not one to return products as I told her and her "Manager" I also bought the shoes in good faith, to which they both brow beat me. My rewards wasn't used during this purchase so there was no record of my purchase and I was vilified. A customer the next cashier over chimed in and suggested that I contact Nike directly to which the cashier wanted to just dismiss me altogether. I was simply trying to return a defective product and now I've got to go thru Nike directly. Not cool Nordstrom Rack! I have a $100 gift card that I'd like to cash in but they don't do that as I'm pissed and embarrassed for trying to utilize Nordstroms' legendary return policy. read more

I enjoy browsing through all the sales racks and finding good stuff. You do have to "look" to find the right item every now and then. What I don't like is the women shoppers there are usually so snobby and push you out of the way to get what they want. Oh well. read more

Love the Rack! Where else can you buy Designer Clothes for 1/2 the price. I like going to their designer clothes racks when they first put them out. Taking 14 pieces in and coming out with just 2 for me to buy, but they never complain about it. The shoe department is something else, though. What a mess! Thank goodness I don't wear a popular size. re: Looking for work shoes Huge fan of Nordstrom Rack. I didn't find any success here as it's difficult for me to find shoes with my odd foot. I'll try the Tukwila location which I think is the mothership for the Nordstrom Rack shoes. Although I didn't buy anything today, I like seeing a lot of workers running around (maybe too much for a weekday), but they've always been able to handle rushes there. Tried to return one ($18.95) item purchased 9/3/2020, was told it was past their 45 day return policy (barely) so they couldn't take it. Called the Customer Service line, :18 on hold then got thru. Explained the situation, AND that I reordered the correct size I needed last week (still same price)...they are still selling the item. I was told they could give me just $10 back for a new unused item they are still selling/still available in every size! Unbelievable. I have been a loyal Nordstorm shopper for over 25+ years, but my loyalty has been shattered over less than $20. I will now go to Macy's, Soma or online for my needs! read more

This place is one of the nicer Nordstrom Racks I've been to and usually has good parking which is a plus. The store is well organized and as to be expected there are plenty of deals to be found all over the store. With Nordstrom's push in the last 2 years to feint affordability Nordstrom Rack has more than ever been a place to find great bargain deals while still maintaining a good amount of brand recognition, 7, True Religion, occasional Gucci, Armani Collezioni, Hugo Boss and Ben Sherman. Unlike a lot of bargain stores like say a Marshalls, Tj Max, or other alternatives most of the clothes in a Nordstrom Rack are very wearable and are not 10 steps out of fashion. Sometimes bargain shopping from an organizational standpoint feels a worthless time consuming, maddening endeavor. Nordstrom Rack offers a good alternative while still maintaining the ability to be fashionable. read more

My wife had a recent experience at the store. She was returning some items that did not fit with a receipt. The cashier explained to her that the amount would have to be returned back the debit card that was used to purchase the items. My wife asked the cashier if she could run the car and quickly retrieve the card since there was a long line for check out. There were two Nordstrom Rack security guards stand by the door to the parking lot. As my wife is running past them to the car, one of the security says "That person is going free" implying that my wife was doing something or stealing from the store. This is the translation from Filipino to english that my wife heard on the way out of the store. Clearly they are not tuned to what's going on in the nation right now and they need a reminder. If not, then someone needs to tell them to shut the F.. up and keep your comments to yourself. read more

This facility is fine. The store is often extremely crowded and it's really hard to find anything decent that I want. I only go here if I have patience and am willing for a treasure hunt but do not go here if you have something in mind, you won't find it I promise! It is often disorganized and dirty and no staff are willing to help you unless they are asked. The staff is fine. No one is outgoing or friendly, they're just neutral. so i was at nordie's 1 day and saw a fabulous undergarment set (yes... undergarment set... i am being modest!!) figures that it was a wee bit over my budget... spending a 3 digit amount for an undergarment set is something i just cannot justify!! so to my surprise i walk into the rack the other day and my oh my what a rack!!! : ) guess who found the same hot sexy oh-my-god-this-is-guaranteed-tickle-time bra and undie set for under $30 total for both pieces?!?!? YUP!!! that's me BITCHES!!!! I am a big big fan of this location. I ran into a store associate or manager that told me something a while back that has proved to be very true from my experience. Each Rack has a different demographic they shop for. She said that the Bellevue & Renton locations get more designer labels (Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, etc). So if you want a big selection of designer bags and accessories, shop here. She also said the downtown store focuses on a business clientele- lots of business clothing and shoes. you know how it is when you are still in your 20's and not quite there when it comes to being able to buy a pair of really fantastic ferragamos or brunos or jimmy choos? well...the rack has really made it something that you can viable save up for....only the rack makes it so incredibly cheap, you will wonder just what the hell is wrong with the shoes to be prices so well. found a very cute pair of summer jimmy choos for 200 bux. also an awesome pair of white pointed flats(which, i think woudl have only been amazing with a complete white suit or a wedding gown...neither of which i care to wear this season)...also for 200 bux. granted, the rack isn't going to really offer me a vast selection of my fav designers-however, for one that can't neccessarily afford what their aesthetically sensitive eyes want...the rack can offer a plethora of great bargain finds. i love this place because i have found awesome shoes for cheaper than cheap by mid and upper range names that i love to wear. I have also found two favorite hobo bags came from this place-and now that they carry select dermalogica and bliss items, i love perusing through their inventory to see if i can find any of the items that make up my skin care basics. the rack will have just about anything you are looking for at better prices than going to other stores with comparative prices. for what you get in quality, the rack really is a steal. as for the factory location-their new layout works really well for them, i think. it seems a little bit cleaner and their inventory has also gotten a lot better. if you are stuck on the eastside, the fac. rack is a great place to wait through some rush hour traffic time, or burn off calories consumed at any of the restaurants nearby. one of my fav bargain places! read more

This is probably my least favorite Nordstrom Rack, but I mean, it's still a Jewish girl's dream. The reason I don't like this one is because it's always super duper busy, with lines out the door. It's also difficult to access in that weird Factoria mall, and the organization of the store is just not to my liking. I don't really understand how the place is set up and it makes it difficult to navigate. That said, the merchandise is just as good as any other Rack...that is, if you can find it. read more

Unfortunetely, I haven't scored too many super-amazing finds here because they all happened to not be in my size, but I have gotten some good Enzo Angiolini shoes and dresses from here. I like hitting this Nordstrom Rack up. I don't know if anyone has heard of "It Jeans" - Los Angeles. They sell them at Nordstrom in the junior section and I absolutely love the way they fit. Normally at Nordstrom they are around $75 w/ tax and I hate going to Nordstrom in Bellevue cause they always look you up and down to see if you look like you have money....Irritating.... So I always go to Nordstrom Rack - Bellevue to find the good deals. I found my "It Jeans" for $34 dollars (1/2 off Nordstrom) and I know you are thinking that is dirt cheap they must be cheesy jeans because they are under $100 - but they aren't. The lines can be super long sometimes, so if you don't have any returns it's easier to find an employee wandering around so they can check you out using their handhelds. The selection is ok, and sometimes you can find some real gems for not a lot of money. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is usually pretty well kept (except the wallet bin, that's always a wreck). read more

One of the better Racks I've been to in the Northwest. Always seem to have new stuff and a large variety. Good changes with the season and never a line with the men's dressing room. It's pretty clean and they keep the racks and table presentations neat. Great shoe selection along with dress shirts and suits! I'm not a fan of the Eastside but I do like Top Gun dim sum so I frequently make a trek over to Factoria to get my Top Gun dim sum fix on and afterwards I like to stop in at this Rack to do a little retail therapy. It's so much nicer than the downtown Rack and cleaner too. The racks of clothes and shelves of shoes are more organized and filled with a nice selection to choose from. I can always find at least one pair of shoes I can't live without and have been successful in finding winter coats here as well. The clothes they amuse me sometimes, the roommate and I like to pick through them and make fun of the skirts made out of kitchen curtains material, I swear they always have some and it's so much fun to make fun of until he threatens to buy it and make me wear it than it's not so fun. They also have a nice purse selection but I tend to get sticker shock when I finally find one I like. The thing I hate about this Rack is the line there's always a long one and I seem to get behind the person holding a spot for three of their friends who are still shopping. Good thing I'm not afraid to speak my mind because it' normally gets spoken when this happens and someone, not me ends up at the back of the line. read more

I've had several bad experiences at this store but last night and today just takes the cake. I came in on Sunday afternoon with my mom to return a purse that was given to me by a friend. I explained to the cashier that I do not have a receipt and because I do not want to offend the person that gave me the bag if it was possible to exchange. She takes the bag and says, oh yes nice bag and starts ringing it up (even though I just took it out of a Nordstrom Rack bag.) I explain the situation again and she asks, where is your receipt? Third time around we are getting somewhere she invites a manager from handbags, the manager shows up and confirms that it is indeed a bag from the store and they do have another bag there just like it. The cashier calls someone else and my mom and I standing there. So, I ask...is everything ok? Cashier: it is policy. It is policy ok? Me: Sorry, I don't understand what is policy? Cashier: I call manager. Me: Was that not the manager? Casher: It is policy. 10 minutes later (We are 30 minutes into the transaction here) A manager shows up and knows what she is doing, takes down my ID info and tells us that she will try to find the transaction. I explain to the cashier that I will have to just resort to asking my friend for the receipt or selling the bag because I do not have time to wait any longer. In mid sentence she picks up the phone and starts helping a customer on the phone and gets another cashier involved. Me: I am sorry, can we finish my transaction first? With no hesitation she says, okay I will exchange, takes and bag and puts the amount on the gift card. Rings up 7 items and I go home. Next day I noticed that the amount not covered by the gift card was a little high, so I look at the tags and the receipt and 4 of items have the wrong price. Day 2 I drive to the store and wait in line to show another cashier what happened. Cashier, "oh sometimes this happens" "she scanned the original price, not the clearance price." The cashier than proceeds to take out a highlighter and asks me to read the numbers on the tag and she will highlight the wrong transactions...WHAT? Very long story short. Two days, 1.5 hours wasted on a transaction.. oh and p.s how hard is it to remember to take of the sensor tags ... a $500 will have a sensor tag ....!!! Horrible experience. read more

Awesome store! Looks are sure deceiving since the Target next door looks more cleaned up then this place. The Nordstrom Rack definitely fits in with "beautiful" Factoria Mall its a part of. But DON'T be fooled by the low-end looking store. If you want nearly all the nice clothes/shoes from Nordstroms at a J.C Penney's or less price, this is the place!! Search hard and you'll be rewarded with all kinds of awesome finds. Amazing shoes too - soo cute and priced at almost Target prices! When I first saw the store I was like: what a lame looking messy store. But its a true diamond in the rough lol! The sales people are nice too! read more

Visited this location while in town for the weekend. My Ralph Lauren purse strap broke while I was wearing it and I went in to see if they would exchange the purse for me. The young man that helped me was very friendly until I told him what I needed. He would not take the time to look up my purchase history than the angry black lady working next to him chimed in saying that they would not replace or refund my money. Nordstrom used to be a decent place to shop and would take care of the their customers. They now sell defective merchandise and do not care if it falls apart. I work too hard for my money and will not shop at Nordstrom or the rack again. They are very fortunate that my granddaughter was with me because I would have given then a piece of my mind on the spot! You have lost a great customer! read more

This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack out of all of them. In my opinion, they have more XS and size 23 in jeans out of all of the Racks. But its a total hit or miss. I could walk in and find nothing I like or I could walk in and find to much and go over my budget! read more

This particular location falls way below nordstrom expectations. I have been in 3x and left disappointed on every occasion. I cannot get over how different this location is compared to the Alderwood Rack (Golde Creek Nordstrom Rack). While the products are the same, the Factoria store must be very poorly managed because it is a disaster! Shoes all over the floor, clothes dangling from hangers, and hardly an associate in sight. It's really a shame because I have higher expectations for Bellevue. To shed light upon my experiences at this store, I'd compare it to a Ross or Marshalls. I love going to Nordstrom Rack for dresses. I've recently gotten into a dress buying phase because dresses are so easy for getting put together in the morning. I've bought some really cute dresses ranging from $15-$30. What I really appreciate about Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, for that matter, is their gracious return policy. I returned a shirt there recently after I'd worn it twice and it developed a hole along the seam. I couldn't find the receipt for it, but no problem! They let me exchange for a similar item (shirt of the same brand) that was the same price. I've bought a few other items there (pair of shoes and a robe), but I've been most excited about the inexpensive dresses that I've gotten. read more

In my opinion, this location is one of the best Rack locations. They have it organized by brand so you can quickly scan the store and look for a particular brand if you like. I usually can find pretty good stuff here. Thank GAWD they have the people walking around now with credit card scanners, makes the process go by so much faster! read more
