My gift card was fraudulently used by a random woman in California (which was shown to me by the manager working there) who had used 15 different gift cards for a total of $681. Nothing was able to be taken care of on the spot which is somewhat understandable, but days later my claim was denied. I was in absolute shock upon receiving this email. So because your system isn't able to prevent fraudulent theft of your gift cards I am left without my gift card funds? This was my second visit to Nordstrom Rack. For a Tuesday morning it was very busy with customers. If you take your time shopping to really look for some real bargains you will find them. Whether it's clothes or shoes or whatever you will find it. I do have to admit I really browsed around more this time than on my first visit. Paying attention to their clearance sign is suggested. A lot of items are marked down from there original prices. Today I was able to find me some nice shirts and let me tell you can't go wrong looking for shoes here. Today was a good visit. The area is very busy so be careful driving around as there are plenty of other places to shop, so driving around can be tricky. My suggestion is to come here during the week days if possible. I've been to Nordstrom Rack elsewhere, but this one was special. I think the buyer of the clothing was picking things just for me! Of course, I know that's not true, but literally everything I looked at had me thinking about adding it to my wardrobe. And that's saying a lot because I'm not a big shopper. Came in to check out some suits and dress shirts and noticed I was being followed around by a bigger, older, blonde lady, and a taller, lankier brunette, both white. They had the minority women behind the registers and in the back rooms. It was straight-up racial profiling. I was pegged as a potential thief the moment they caught onto my presence, and was treated as such the ENTIRE time. I could FEEL the gnarly, nasty, energetically racist vibes in my bones. It was quite vicious. That was my interpretation. From start to finish, the 15-20 minutes I spent inside this store were DEEPLY uncomfortable, humiliating, and rage-inducing. The slimmer, younger brunette was ALL over it, watching me like a HAWK, making it quite obvious, as if profiling me gave her job purpose. In-your-face, OVERT racism to the core. It filled me with DISGUST. It filled me with dark, viscous HATRED. What a cliche. I will not be back. Wretched, wretched times. Plus, they had a whole section covered in garbage bags. We generally find what we are looking for when we go to Nordstrom Rack. The only miss is usually in the shoe department, however we have also found great deals there as well. We like going there for gifts, vacation clothes, colognes, special occasion, and we always raid the Tommy bahama section at Christmas time to shop for all the guys on our list. read more

They are good shoes for walking on pavement, cement or asphalt but not for trail, gravel, sand, wet tile floors even on wet surfaces on public transportation. Be careful. Good for the gym. I bought things here from the past but no photos. Men's Diesel Type II Denim Jeans $69.97 which is a good deal on the Clearance Rack. Fjallraven Kanken Backpacks are here too which I bought. Rolling luggage too. For Men's shoes, they got size 9 and Above for Hoka's Arahi 6 or 7. I'm waiting for more Hoka's for my size. Love this location as parking is easy and the store is always well stocked. Have even taken our small dog here as they are dog friendly if well behaved Staff is very helpful and saw a gentleman helping a customer pickup a suit, shirt and tie. This store is always a great shopping experience. Nordstrom Rack is a good choice if you like high end brand names. It is a place to to get very high end items at a better rate than you can get at the Dept store. (not always cheap just less expensive.) The prices are still high but amazing deals to be found especially if you like fancy shoes. Shoes are a great bargain here if you like very expensiive foot ware. That also goes for bags and wallets as well. A while back I got a high end wallet here for pretty cheap and always got tons of compliments on it. Probably 80 percent off the full price and it lasted over ten years. If your brand is found at Nordies than the Rack might be a good place for you to check out. Normally I have absolutely NO issues with Nordstrom or The Rack, but todays interaction making a return was garbage. Nothing salacious- just poor customer service at the return counter. I witnessed the salesman happily tell the customer before me goodbye, and have a good evening- all smiles. When he looked at me- he asked if I was returning something...I suppose my large paper bag with Nordstrom Rack in blue lettering was hard to see. It's fine. I said yes and walked toward him, he gave me , no smile, only a glare. As if just the sight of me annoyed him. I took a shower today- didn't smell. Just left religious services, so I was dressed well.. fully covered. I don't know. I had to ask him how his day was- and I got an extremely dry/flippant "fine". I forced myself to not looked shocked. So I just quietly let him process the return and I left. One bad experience won't stop me from shopping, however, this interaction was noticeable and disappointing enough to write about. read more

This is both a complaint and a rant. I don't like leaving reviews especially negative ones but I've been screwed over and need to say something. I went to this nice store to get some loops eye masks. The customer service was great but I came home hours later to find one of the masks missing. I know anyone would say just bring it back with the receipt which I could but I had to rip the box open just to get them out because there are two sides to open from and I wasn't able to open them nicely so I ripped the box. My rant here is that this isn't the first time this has happened. I've purchased other faces mask products by different brands and have found the number inside is less than what is stated on the box. I'm frustrated because this isn't someone who is in need who took it and I keep going home with less than what I paid for and the company doesn't even know the customer is getting robbed. I feel bad as it is if I go in with a ripped box and it can't be proven that I didn't take it and and try to get a refund because I used to work customer service and I know how it goes. I'm hoping maybe something can be done regarding security stickers or something so customers know their product they are purchasing hasn't been tampered with. Also, I wanted to mention that although the cashier who rang me up was alright, she stamped a final sale on the receipt. Im not sure why she did that but the masks weren't on clearance as I did pay full price for 5 only to get 4 in the package. Overall, the entire situation isn't right and I guess I have to check the packages moving forward or ask a worker to check the package in the future before purchasing. I had to return a dress that I purchased pre-quarantine so when I found out that they were officially back open, I popped over to do so. I was SO impressed with all of their safety precautions! They had a team of about 5 employees greeting us and explaining the ropes, everyone entered on the same side and followed the arrows around the store to the checkout lines. They were offering masks, loads of sanitizer, sanitized carts, no trying on clothes, and the best part? 40% off of EVERYTHING, even clearance. The only kicker was that everything was final sale but honestly, with the deals that I was getting, I didn't even care! To say that I scored would be an understatement. I am so happy! When I checked out, there was plexiglass protecting the cashier and I and each cashier wiped down their station after every sale. They also had tubs of sanitizer next to each register. Thanks for making us feel super safe and for offering this extra special deal. It was a great treat for one of my first public outings in 2.5 months! read more

I recently found some great midi skirts that I chose with matching tops. I had one dressy entrant coming up soon. One is more for Spring/ Summer, the other for Fall. The tops and skirts could be mix n matched. I color coordinate to an Autumn Spring palette, so I appreciate mix and matching everything in my wardrobe. Don't go if you don't have enough time to try on and pay for the items. They don't hold items, even for an hour. This Nordstrom Rack has the biggest men's selection in Phoenix, and is pretty darn well decent all round. I'm not sure if this is the place distribution send all the 'good stuff' but I got some great shirts and shoes for cheaper than other places (like Men's Wearhouse and Kohl's, for instance). Even the own-brand stuff is decent enough. I'm not a snob, but I know half-decent quality when I see it. The Cole Haan shoes were almost half the cost of JC Penny's. What's not to like? The store is clean, well organized, and plenty of parking. The queues look like Ross, but the quality of the merch is levels above (in my opinion). Grand Opening day for the first centrally located Nordstrom Rack. Near the beautiful Biltmore area of Phoenix this location is located at Town and Country shopping center off of 20th street and Camelback. Doors opened at 9am with over 300 guest waiting patiently for the doors to open. The store had a welcome party at 7:30am with a DJ and refreshments to get shoppers excited. The main reason to get their early was to get an opportunity to win a 2,000 shopping spree with 90 seconds to race the racks and grab all one could get. Sadly only one lucky winner. Even though I did not win there was other exciting things going on. The store was well staffed with members of the team greeting customers and showing off some of the hottest buys for less. They also provided free samples of Netroguena products which is a line they carry in beauty. As the doors opened they kindly welcomed each guest with all of the staff cheering everyone on as they walked in. There was another incentive for those who were up early to catch the great buys the store had 20 hidden golden hangers worth $100 each to use towards your purchase. It was a safe opening with plenty of cashiers, space and merchandise. The store was beautiful. Very organized and well stocked with the latest trendy fashions. Items were easy to find and within reach. There was something for everyone with different price points. I was very impressed with this location. The store did a wonderful job by being organized and ready. No long lines and plenty of parking. Bottle water was provided as it was hot but the lines outside the store were in the shade. I see this location as a successful one as Nordstrom is known for their quality service and merchandise. We needed more shopping stores in the central area of Phoenix and this will be the next new place to be. read more

Not sure I'm really a fan of Nordstrom Rack, however, this location is very well organized and seems to be stocked with the usual selection of merchandise that is found in most Rack stores. I have perused the shelves and racks many times but don't often find anything I actually need. I usually get ignored by the clerks and I have only been approached a couple of times by clerks asking if I need assistance, but that is acceptable as I rarely need help shopping. The store is almost always neat and clean, even on crazy sale days. If you are using a credit card you can check out anywhere in the store so long as you can find a wandering sales associate. If you can't find what you want here, you can always go down the street to the Last Chance Buffet! read more

should be zero stars-- We have tried 4 times to order a men's size XL Rainforest Micro Oxford Thermoluxe Filled Faux Shearling Lined Jacket in the color Tobacco. And four times Rainforest, who according to representatives of Nordstrom Rack is the fulfiller of this order, sent us a size XXL. The first order we placed several weeks ago was placed at nordstromrack.com. The three following orders were placed by a supervising representative from nordstromrack.com. All four times this jacket was ordered, Rainforest shipped a XXL instead of size XL. The most recent jacket was ordered thru a Nordstrom Rack representative on February 8 and received on February 11. It is also interesting to note that nordstromrack.com does not even offer the option of ordering a size XXL in Tobacco. This is frustrating. There appears to be a problem with the communication software between nordstromrack.com and Rainforest regarding the fulfillment of this order. It could be happening with other orders as well. Or we have been the recipients of 4 unprovoked errors on the part of staff working at the Rainforest fulfillment center. Gone is the day where Nordstroms tried to do the right thing--they are throwing up their hands saying they can't help us. Rainforest won't return emails to their customer service center. Won't be shopping for either rainforest products or at Nordstroms going forward. read more

I love shopping at nordstrom racks. This one is especially clean and the workers here are so friendly. Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially on weekends or around the holiday season, but that is to be expected. Although the selection doesn't hold a candle to the Scottsdale store, in the past I've preferred this location when I need something quick because it's smaller and has been much easier to get in and out of. Unfortunately with COVID-19 this location is really struggling now with their small square footage. In order to be safe, which is a good thing, they just can't accommodate very many customers . When I showed up this afternoon they were stopping people as they approached the entrance to let us know they didn't have the capacity to take any returns or additional customers but to try to line up again tomorrow. Now in all fairness, the other Nordstrom Racks were really struggling accommodating clients today as well. The Scottsdale location was telling clients to expect their return line to take at least an hour and a half to get through today. (I wish they made returns as easy as purchases.) COVID-19 is really hitting the retail industry hard. This store simply may not have the physical capacity to logistically meet client needs in this environment. read more

He is the best tailor in the area and a true master of his craft, making him a great asset to your company. His work is extremely detail oriented and nothing short of flawless. When I received a pair of shorts I ordered, I immediately noticed that they didn't sew the entire bottom of the shorts. I called to return the item and after 4 calls a manager guarantee she would note my account that I was to get a full refund including shipping and tax. Finally, I received notice of the return and that the refund was only half of what I paid. Again, I made another 4 calls and spoke to a manager named Karen. She advised there were NO notes in the computer left by the prior manager. She refunded me for the other half of the cost of the shorts that I had paid but refused to refund the shipping charges. Ridiculous. They send me a defective product, but I don't get refunded for the shipping. If I had received a pair of shorts that weren't defective, I would have kept the shorts. So, I'm penalized for them sending me garbage instead of what I ordered. This is so they can earn a couple of bucks. I have shopping with Nordstrom for over 35 years but never again! Horrible customer service. UPDATE: Today you send a message to call, however, you left me your generic customer service phone number!!!! After going through all the nonsense to get to a human they inform me they don't know who you are. This is more proof of how horrible you customer service has become. read more

I am an Ambassador at Nordstrom . A year ago I was very happy customer but what happened recently I just can't understand. They try to steal your money in any way they can do it . Here are pictures as an example of what they are doing . I made a purchase of Hugo Boss jacket $89 at the moment of placing order it was a returnable item . When I placed an order in my orders it appeared as FINAL SALE . The jacket arrived and unfortunately it didn't fit , I contacted a customer service they said just bcz I am an Ambassador they will accept the jacket for return but it's unacceptable that I want to return . Like REALLY ???? I explained that it was returnable but they didn't want to listen . So anyway I payed the Shipping for the jacket and guess what !? They refunded me only $40 one month later !!! What a horrible business they do ! How cheap they became ! I am not even talking about items purchased on a super sale which were final sale and arrived all scratched - sunglasses , broken jewelry from Alexis Bittar, very used washed clothes from Cashmere 360 without labels and so on . Not sure why there are not more 5 star reviews at this location! I've been here so many times, it's always neat, clean and organized! The fitting rooms are always cleared out, and a friendly assistant willing to help find new sizes, or lend a hand! The selection of name brands, from jewelry, sunglasses, perfume, cosmetics, home goods, and an enormous selection of men's and woman's clothing, from sports clothing to suits and evening wear and pretty much everything in-between! I don't always find what I'm looking for, but it's ALWAYS my first stop before heading to the Nordstrom at Fashion Square. I love using my Nordstrom Rewards Card, and receiving my Notes$$$ Either the main Nordstrom or the Rack, you'll earn points if your a card holder, mine is a dinosaur, it's tied to my Visa Debt, sadly they don't offer that card anymore, but as long as you don't let it go inactive for 6 months, you're grandfathered in!
