This used to be my go-to store for shoes and clothes. The past dozen times that I have shopped here have been really disappointing. Not only is it very disorganized, the stock that they do have is very limited. I used to shop here weekly and started noticing all the same items week after week. In what world is it okay for young female children to be playing in the walkway in the men's dressing room? Keep the females out of the men's dressing room. It's not appropriate, and many are not comfortable with it. Those dressing rooms provide very little privacy with one inch gaps on the sides of the door, so it's also highly irresponsible for those parents to allow their child that exposure. This is long overdue. Last November, I was recovering from a serious illness while also shopping for an upcoming overseas trip. Not thinking clearly, I set my purse down to try on some shoes. I walked away without my purse. I realized my mistake about 15 minutes later & retraced my steps. Purse was gone & I imagined the worst (including how to get all my new ID & credit card stuff before my upcoming trip). I panicked and alerted a Rack associate. A short time later, I learned that an associate saw the abandoned purse & turned it in to his manager. To make a long story short, the Nordstrom Rack team impressed the hell out of me. I saw a jacket here yesterday that I absolutely loved, but decided against because of the price. Well, by this afternoon I couldn't get it out of my head and made the drive back here hoping it hadn't been bought! I looked and looked on the racks and couldn't find it, and as a last resort asked someone if they recognized the jacket in the picture I took of me wearing it (thank goodness I did that!) She asked around and when she asked Sawney, she told me she did and went searching for it for me. Turns out it had gotten misplaced with the pants! This is a great new Nordstrom Rack. It's very well stocked and super neat and clean. Even the dressing rooms are clean and well kept. This location loses two stars because of a serious, consistent problem: the checkout lines are really, really, really long. They never seem to have enough registers open. When the line backs up 4 or 5 people deep, it's time to open another register! I still love this store but I can't just pop in on a lunch break because it takes 15 minutes to check out. If you have lots of time then by all means stop in to shop. There are some particularly great values to be found on the clearance racks if you're willing to hunt. read more

How could I possibly go to this store and not write a review, right? Been going there for years. I notice that different locations of the same store in the valley have different merchandise. Can't beat the selection as well as the prices. I have gotten a $600+ purse for under $200. At least, that's what it said on the price tag. When I come into town to visit my family, I spend time at home, at restaurants here and there, at the yoga studio, but mostly at the rack. Not only do I find this to be the cleanest location in the "valley", it's my favorite. This trip, I went with my sister (in law) and was lucky enough to find a killer find in the designer section. Alongside some of my brothers favorite candles (paddy wax) at a super cheap price. Two days later, I stopped in with my mom and found some toms, a bathing suit top, undies, a bra, and Nike shorts for my man. One day after that I jumped in for my bi annual sneaker shopping experience with my dad. It would be extremely beneficial for the Rack to bring back free store pick up when shopping on line. If I'm going to spend my gas and time picking up why am I getting charged the 9.95 fee, the same as if it were getting shipped to my home. The stores already bear this cost when they bring in their inventory, you don't need to charge me, for this cost of doing business, and instead, it would be a great perk to your customers. So sad you did away with this. read more

Okay, I am NOT the shopper in our family, but I travel along with the shopper of our family often. This place wasn't half bad. I even recognized a lot of the brands in the store and saw what a great deal there was to be had. My wife was able to find Keen sandals for our little boys at half the regular price and little shoes for our two year old daughter for way less than I would have thought. We actually ended up leaving with a dress shirt for me and some clothes for her and the kids too. Ok, I have never been to this location or inside of a Nordstrom Rack. But my brunch buddy said we need walk off the food we inhaled that morning. LOL! I did see shoes but I need to find a dress prior to getting more shoes. We checked out at the express cart off to the side, so you don't need to wait to check out in the front. Buyer beware! Nordstrom Rack is a scam if you order online and the inventory in the stores is nothing like the real Nordstrom. If you order online they will fill your order then keep your money for a few weeks then cancel your order because they never had the item. I have read reviews just like mine online and hope people will read this post before ordering and having the same problem I am having. Yikes!! Torn & dirty merchandise that is sad. I've been to other NR where you can find some epic deals but this place is not the usual. We found a gorgeous red beaded gown but so many of the beads were coming off. They recommended their tailor, because I'm a card member, he was on break . We returned to find him on a personal call wanting to charge us additional $$ & that it would take a week for an inch on the back & an inch on the front. I knew I was in trouble when I saw they were opening up a Rack in Town and Country. I stopped in on Saturday and came out two hours later with enough to fill the trunk of my car. I couldn't get over how clean and well structured this store is. Perhaps because it has only been open for a few weeks, but it was well organized and not rifled through like most other Racks. Now I have yet another store within walking distance to fuel my shoe addiction. I found a pair of Vince Camuto's in the clearance section for $80! My man also had a lot of luck, he was able to find a pair of Seven Jeans, 2 sweaters and some CC undies (that fit his 6'6 frame). Being a man who just recently lost a ton of weight (and clothes sizes), I am in need of a new wardrobe. I am now in full "purchase mode" and procuring the best shirts, polos, pants, etc, all at the best price. I heard about Rack a couple times, and thought "Meh, if they have nothing, I only wasted about 10 minutes of my life." Well, lets just say this place is outstanding! Lets run our hands through the Pant aisle at full speed, and discuss Nordstrom Rack: ~What to do~ Buy buy buy clothes, shoes, perfumes, accessories, etc... ALL at significantly marked down prices. ~The Good~ THEY HAVE PENGUIN! I love....love...love this brand. I am not a clothes person persay, but holy God I love this brand. They have it marked way down, at prices which allow me to comfortably stock my closet. The prices for all the designer clothes, for that matter, are outstanding. I was giddy with excitement looking at all the magnificent deals. Everything I got was at least 50% the normal dollar rate in regular stores or online! I picked around and was able to come out of the store with everything my heart wanted. The selection is outstanding and they do not skimp on the name brands or styles. Everyone is accounted for, and the styles are not the slightest bit garish. Also, service is fast, even with long lines. They are efficient with your time spent in the store in mind. ~The Bad~ Although they are still marked down, the shoe selection is still pricey. I do not suggest buying the shoes, you can go online or to a shoe store to get better deals. Maybe try on the shoes you are looking for, but put them back and save your money. The jeans are also pretty expensive. I am not a jeans guy, so the dollar amounts for the jeans seemed excessive. I am pretty sure I can get the same quality jeans for a quarter of the price somewhere else. I obviously can't vouche for the womens side, they have a ton... so no comment there. That really covers it, not too bad if you ask me. ~The Down Low~ All this said, there are many places to get marked down clothes at. I did my homework, the prices here beat markdowns online and even on E-bay for my Penguin brand. The same goes for a lot of brands, I am sure. For designer styles at marked down prices, this is the perfect spot, and its so close to my place. As for my 4-star rating, the strong variety of options, good looking clothes, large list of designer brands, and the quick efficient service keeps this place with a high rating. I knew it was going to be bad when I heard they were putting a Nordstrom Rack literally right down the street from me but I had no idea it was going to be this bad for me & my bank account... First off, the place is immaculate..so well organized and it's beyond easy to find what you're looking for. Not only that but even the clearance racks are still organized where as most places, most people have picked over it in such a frenzy, it's usually impossible to keep it tidy..but NR does it! Secondly, the staff is awesome. So friendly without being in your face and when my mom had a tumble, they called me to the front, walked me over to her & really took the time to make sure she was OK. I can't tell you how much it helped that they were so nice as she was really embarrassed by the ordeal. The entire staff is friendly too..not just one or two people...specifically Stephanie, the girl who checked me out. She was so nice & really took the time to help me. The clothes are obviously great. Great selection and for great prices for the most part. Damn you, NR for exceeding my expectations..you're going to make it impossible for me to not come in more than probably necessary. read more

This is a spacious, clean and well organized Nordstrom Rack. There are many bargains to be had although a lot of the merchandise looks like it is direct to the Rack instead of merchandise that arrived via the Nordstrom stores. The entire back portion of the store is shoes and unlike some Racks which only have one shoe out and you have to go and ask a clerk for the mate, this Rack has both shoes out. Some of the discounts were not as deep as I would have liked on the higher end labels, but they were still a bargain. read more

What happened to Nordstrom's Rack? This store is now like a Ross Dress for Less on steroids. They have brands from other department stores, Amazon, and more junk than I've ever seen. The store used to carry high end items from Nordstroms, and their overstocks. You could always pick up a cute, mid-range designer purse. They now carry Calvin Klein and other cheaper brands. Sunglasses were always a hit. They did have RayBans, but the other sunglasses were brands Nordstrom never carries. Same deal with shoes, maybe a few good picks. They have bras and underwear galore in plastic bag packaging like at Walmart, or in three packs on a hanger like the usual discount stores. I found a few designer items. Two of interest were seriously flawed but not priced to accommodate defects. Found a cute pair of jeans; later found out they were from the brand's 2019 line. (Would have bought them anyway if they had my size. Just saying.). This store carried very few items that would have come from Nordstroms. I am so disappointed. I very rarely shop at Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack, but when I do it's normally the Fashion Square location (regular) or Chandler location (Rack). I got a gift card to here recently and randomly decided to come to this location and use it. In the future, on the rare occasion I decide to shop at a Nordstrom, this will probably be my location of choice. It's VERY clean & well-organized compared to the Rack location in Chandler. I've always liked the selection at Nordstrom Rack, and this one is no different (to be honest, I don't think this store is necessarily any "better" in terms of selection than other Rack's but because it's so well organized it almost comes across that way). The one thing about this location, and maybe it was just me, but it seems to have a lot more formal wear compared to other Rack locations. I guess that could be a good thing (or mean nothing to you) depending on what types of clothing you wear more/less often. read more
