Love how organized this place is. I like how they color coordinate, makes it so much easier to shop. The workers are friendly and let you shop in peace. I did not realize Nordstrom rack was affordable. I honestly thought they were gonna be expensive, but nope! Totally affordable. I bought Two pairs of pants for $19.99 and $23.00, shorts $15 each. Something really shady is going on at this store. I purchased a Michael Kors leather jacket on sale for $150 at the Nordstrom Rack in Ontario Mills. This was a large though and I wanted a medium, which was not in stock. The staff at Ontario Mills told me to purchase the large to lock in the one-day-only sales price, but that a medium was being held for me in Riverside. The next day, I went to Riverside and the medium was gone! Their computers said it was still in the store, but I talked to several people, including the weekend manager, who said it was "lost" and a common thing to happen in "such a big store". After half an hour of figuring out what was going on, I asked to order it from a different Rack and have it shipped to my house. I paid for a second jacket (in medium), but kept the original jacket (in large) just in case. Two weeks later, the medium arrives at my house and I go to return the large at my local Bay Area Rack. My cashier was super confused, because my receipt from Riverside indicated that I had returned the large and exchanged it for a medium (the missing one!). I had some trouble returning the large, since the receipt was for a medium! What I think really happened is that they have an issue with employee theft and processing this fake exchange accounted for this missing jacket in their store system. Practically, a random person is not going to steal a jacket with a huge anti-theft device attached so it only makes sense to me that the jacket being held for me "disappeared" with a store employee. read more

I have never shopped at Nordstroms. I think it is because I haven't won the lottery yet. I have few vices... one don't gamble your money unless you are for sure you are going to win, and two don't shop for things pricey clothes. I like clothes... but I want it to feel good on my skin too. If it is a pricey brand it sure better feel like something you want touching your skin for long periods of time. Actually this is like a rant... So.. the store. Nordstroms Rack is kind of a peek into a Nordstroms store. The prices from Nordstroms are still attached, but the discounted pricing from the Rack (tired of typing out the full name.) is included. It is always fun to get a good deal, and checking out discount percentages is a shoppers dream. I came here the 2nd week of the grand opening. Alot of people here, but not as crowded as what I read from previous posts. This is good, because I can't stand crowds. Purchased some Air Jordans in the fifty dollar price range. Bought the kiddies shoes and summer clothes. The one thing I would caution is that all these things will add up. Based on the name brands, you are getting a deal. read more

YAY!! We gotta 'Rack in Riverside!!! I know this place has been here for months, but I finally stepped inside for the first time this afternoon to do some Christmas shopping. So many purses! So many shoes! So many sale racks! :') It was beautiful! I really enjoyed shopping here. Sales assistants were friendly & not hover-y. Everything was very clean and organized (clearance rack was even color coded!) Tons of beautiful pieces to choose from, and plentiful in all sizes (I ain't a size 0, so this is helpful). All in all, very happy with my experience here. Bought a cute skirt, and they definitely had all hands on deck to keep the checkout line movin'. Thanks ya'll. Can't get enough of Nordstrom Rack! This location has it going on. It is located in the Riverside Plaza so there is plenty of parking on most days. During this holiday season you may have to make your rounds before you snag a good spot. The store is always clean and the beautiful items are all in their place ready to be picked up and lusted after. It is not the biggest store of the rack family but this store can hold its own with a wide variety of pretty things to fill your closets or cover your two feet. I do wish they had a bigger home section and kids section but let's face it, I'm there for clothes, bags and shoes so for those reasons, they good. The clearance rack is also pretty well stocked and kept neat by color and size. Once you get in line to hand over your pay check, the line moves quickly with the green flags calling you over. True to form for my expectations of customer service at Nordstrom. I was in line only trying to make a payment on my account. Long line. ...I was thinking this was gonna be a while. ...but to my delight ALL the checkout stands were open efficiently handling transactions with the highest standards of guest service. If this was all I saw it would be enough. ..but yet in true Nordstrom fashion they take it to the next level. I saw a sales associate speaking with some guests in sign language. She was great. Though some may not see this as a big deal, I think it's a huge deal to know they care about the community enough to have this type of customer service. Amazing job. Thank you. read more

A fairly nice and spacious Nordstrom Rack in a great location. They have all the usual brands/items that any Nordstrom Rack would carry. It is however one of the more organized and cleaner stores compared to other ones which is why I give it 4 stars (otherwise I would've given it only 3). I would definitely come back if I'm in the area to find any clothes to go out in or shoeeeeess... i love me some shoes! Also, they have a very nice and neat makeup section that wasn't gross to go through like some other Nordstrom Rack's I've been to where all the make up/glosses are smeared over the labels and whatnot. Gross! For the ladies, this one is nice, but as for men, I'd say their selection, both shoes and clothing are outnumbered greatly by the women's selection, so men if you're reading this skip out on this store and find somewhere else if you wan't more variety. read more

Horrible customer service, I bought a pair of pajamas pants for my wife that happened to have a joke in them, so we took them back to return them and they wouldn't give me the full amount back because they have a hole in them. Seriously??!! I thought Nordstroms was supposed to have great customer service. I spent $20.88 on these pants and they gave me $12.50 back. They even found the purchase on my credit card and it showed I bought them for $20.88. read more

And my husband finds shoes that are no longer available anywhere else (he's a shoe head & doesn't like to wear what's new out) Store is well organized for this type of store. I dropped by Nordstrom Rack Friday to look for a pair of shoes. As I entered the store, I noticed there was a sale on Ray-Ban sunglasses. I found a pair I liked and went to the checkout where Areen handled my purchase. She looked behind her register for the sunglasses case for my Ray-Bans. When she didn't see any, she took the time to leave her register, go over to sunglasses rack and returned with two different colored cases (one black, the other tan) from which to choose one or the other. When she saw me vacillating between the two cases, she suggested I take both. She really didn't have to do that since I already saved more than $100 on the sunglasses. She just went above and beyond with her customer service. And, in so doing, she has made me a loyal customer of Nordies going forward. read more

My daughter received $187.00 worth of baby clothes at her baby shower from one of her close friends. She received many items of one size and wanted to either get a merchandise card or exchange for a larger size. No can do when you order on-line even thought the receipt her friend provided clearly states "Returnable - Easy Returns to any US Nordstrom Rack store or by mail." These items were purchased in late December for an early February baby shower. According to the store and a call to the call center the items cannot be exchanged or returned for a merchandise card. Totally misleading statement on the receipt. read more

I've been to several NR's across so cal. This store is in my top 2. They have a great selection of ladies clothing, shoes and purses/accessories; I don't feel that way about kids and men's clothes but this is a selfish review ;) They always have plenty of shoes and tops I adore. Great brands at great prices. As for jeans, they have lots of choices of brands but not a great selection for us tall girls! Lemme just say not everyone is "short" or even "average" whatever that means. Today, I lucked out though. I scored a pair of 34 inch inseam jeans that look great! A FRIDAY MIRACLE! So I'm super happy. On the norm though, this is a great store. Always clean and organized (w/ exception of clearance section). The restrooms are always clean too. What I don't like about the store is the parking issue It can be a bear to find parking on weekends and during the holidays just don't bother. Perhaps a parking structure is warranted. I love this Nordstrom Rack! Im a huge fan of Nordstrom Rack in general, but this location in particular has a big selection of Size 5 shoes and rings. I do have one complaint--I wish they came out with more newer styles in their smaller sizes. I regularly come here almost every other week & definitely every month (even though I live in Vegas) and each time I've come back they still had the same selections that they always had. One for example was a pair of Uggs that were marked down to $10 plus an additional 50% off. This company has the most awful return policy. Tried to return an expensive wallet not worth what it was purchased for. I have the original receipt and all tags were intact but because I did not have the original debt card it was purchased by they will not return it on my new debit card. Does this company not understand my debit card was lost... I will never shop at this store!!!! I will tell all I know and All friends and family will not shop and purchase items here.
