I ordered a pair of shoes for curbside pick up. The link in the email said error and wouldn't load. So I went inside just to discover a line of 15-20 people waiting for one very slow cashier to check out. When I went up to another sales person and asked if I could just pick up the box she rudely said "no you have to wait in the line like everyone else". I stayed in line for over 30 mins. Would be nice if famous footwear took the time to update their hours. Especially during covid you would think they want to have their information updated since every business is in the unknown of being open and our damn governor is picking and choosing who can operate during this time of crazy. Here are their hours that is posted on the front door mon-Friday 10am-6pm Sunday 12pm-6pm. Hope this helps anyone who is wondering their hours. The store was not busy but the staff were organizing. I wanted new Colin K Nike's but wasn't finding anything I liked. The manager Robert approached and was so helpful. I am complaining about the Riverside CA location off Canyon Springs Pkwy. I needed to buy some shoes that I already had in mind and unfortunately walked up to the store 2 minutes before 9 pm (closing time). As I approached the store (which I parked right in front of the store) the male associate was already locking the door. I still continue to walk up to the door because it was not 9 pm, which are the hours listed on the main doors of the location. The male associate was standing right in front of the door facing us and just ignored me and my mother as we were waiting for him to open the door. Another male associate was finishing up ringing up a last customer. I immediately showed the employee that it was 8:59 pm (at that time) and raised my cellphone to him and he just nodded as if he was aware and about to open the door. So we waited. We waited for about 3 minute more until the last customer was walking outside. And I thought he was going to finally let us in and he responds to us asking us if we had any questions....I really thought to my self if he was serious...and I simply told him "no" I knew exactly what I needed and I just wanted to purchase something. He basically responds to me saying "we are closed". Obviously by then "duh" of course you are closed because you locked us out before closing hours. I told him this and even reminded him that I pulled the phone up to show him the time and he tells me "that doesn't count, and we go by our workstation computer hours". I just commented him telling him that cellphones go by satellite hours and I reminded him that I even showed him the time when I approached the store and even waited outside as he let more time go by. Honestly If all of your employees are trained to be so rude to customers and basically close down earlier than what the door states then I don't want to continue to shop here. I have worked retail before and every minute counts. No one is the boss of a store like this unless he was the CEO. I literally wanted to bring this up to your attention and what is even soo surreal is that there is a surveillance video recording the front doors of when he locked the doors before 9 pm and us there waiting for him to open the doors. Even the last customer that walked out witness this and told me that when she was being rung up and saw us approach it was 8:58 pm. She knew that was done was wrong and not only did this leave a impression to both my mom and I but this last customer. Worst experience ever, and word of mouth goes a long way and I am so going to let people know about this horrible experience. EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!!! But the good things about all of this is that this isn't the only shoe store in the city of Riverside, let alone Inland Empire. read more

We have not taken advantage of that opportunity yet, however I was pleased they cared enough to follow up and offer something in the midst of my frustration. Went in looking for black and white checkered Asher vans, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. The sales associate was very helpful and pulled up the shoe on his computer to show me where I could get them in store. He went above and beyond by helping me figure out where I could get them instead of just saying "no sorry we don't carry them in store". At the end he gave me a coupon to use in the future.
