Really enjoyed browsing here on a hot 99 degree day yesterday, while conversing with a good friend up north. So many good brands at 50% of or more from the retail prices at Nordstrom. The clearance racks are 70% off! Found a cashmere sweater for only $20 in a gorgeous burgundy color. Didn't buy it because it was too hot for me to think about buying a sweater no matter the bargain, but I did buy a cute green beaded bracelet and a pair of long dangly earrings with clear spherical and oblong beads for a total cost of $19 . The staff were kind and helpful--one gave me the bathroom code when I needed it, and another helped me sign up for the reward program and pay for my purchases. I think I'll have to go check out the Nordstrom rack in my area sometime, because there are good deals, for shoes too! read more

So I went because I received a gift card and needed to use it. I purchased two pair of shoes and a really nice sweater. Price was not bad a little over $100... after about two weeks one of the pair of shoes was a nightmare. I couldn't take the noise it made when I walked. I kept saying I was going to take them back and the. Finally I made the drive to return them. The young lady at the cash register was superb. Her service was excellent. I was able to return the shoes and get another gift card. Can't wait to see what I find next. read more

I ordered some pants from Nordstrom.com and the day I picked them up at Nordstrom Rack they were on sale for $18 less. I went to the front counter and the clerk called the Manager over and she told me that I had to return the pants, leave for a couple of hours and come back to the store and try to find the pants on the sales floor and then buy them again. Really??? I just called Nordstrom and they took care of it, but very unprofessional customer service at Nordstrom Rack. This occurred on 11-6-25. read more

The manager at this location is not helpful at all and lies. She told me I couldn't return my items and that I was just stuck with them. I asked her if customer service could help. She told me NO. She said..."they won't help you and they would give the same answer she did." Guess what, I called customer service and they couldn't have been more nice and helpful with my return. So don't always listen to what their employees or managers tell you. The manager here ha no power but try to act like they do. read more

I bought a purse, no one came to help me select my purse. 1) all of the Kate spade wallets had white finger prints on them. 2) instead of sending a sales associate to fix the problem, or to help me, they had security staff follow me around the store. 3) when I asked a simple question about blankets I was directed to Walmart. Now mind you I had about $300 in merchandise in my cart, and I was only half way through shopping, had I not found the perfect gifts, I would have left everything. 4) the sales associate wouldn't get me a gift bag even though I was unable to walk over to the nearby rack. 5) the same sales associate mumbles I'm surprised you can afford this?!? When I paid in cash. This awful experience of being typed cast in multiple ways was not comfortable, it made my shopping experience awful, to the point that I'll never shop at this store or any other Nordstrom rack . The service staff were very rude and entitled. Regardless if you're a cashier at McDonald's or a retail store. At least be nice and keep your rude comments to yourself. I'm still on the fence as to if I want to keep this stuff, I bet I can find it cheaper elsewhere...as was suggested by your very rude staff. read more

I have been shopping at this location for years. However, today, I was stereotyped, harassed and belittled by the staff to the point I would never return again. After treating my daughters and 4 friends to the new Barbie movie, I decided to check out what Nordstroms had in stock before heading to dinner. Upon walking into the store, I was not greeted. However, the security guard did deliver a stern stare towards us and alerted other employees we arrived. I walked about 15 steps into the store directly to the locked display of sunglasses. After waiting for help and being ignored, I approached an associate behind the checkout counter requesting assistance. I returned to the sunglass case and waited patiently. While waiting, a woman joined us at the sunglass display case. I assumed she was coming to assist us because she had a wristlet with case keys. The security guard immediately asked her if she needed assistance, and she replied with. No, I'm just looking. I was baffled. Finally, a young man shows up with the same wristlet of keys. I greeted him with hello and asked to see 2 pairs of sunglasses. He immediately demands us to step back away from the display case. Shocked and appalled, I responded with "I'm not even in the way." He tells me that due to store policy, he can't open the case unless we all back up. I've never heard of that. However, we all back away from the case. He reluctantly asked me which glasses I wanted to see. I pointed out the same 2 glasses I mentioned prior. He denied my request and told me I could only see one pair of glasses at a time, also due to store policy. At this point, I was highly annoyed considering I only asked to see 2 pairs. He could have easily taken the 2 pairs ,held one in his hand, and swapped them out. I told him that I definitely wanted the 1st pair. He quickly closed the case and walked the 1 pair of glasses to the checkout counter...as if I was done shopping. My daughter looked at my face because she knew I wanted to replace my favorite Gucci glasses that were damaged with a new identical pair that I'd been looking for and couldn't find. Just so happened to be there today. Instead of having the option to purchase a second pair, I saw the employees back walking away. At that moment, I realized the woman who had joined us at the counter was also an employee. She had a set of keys around her wrist, holding a few go backs. She only approached the sunglass case to supervise us. She went to convers with the security guard as we stood in line. I was extremely offended, However, the designer sunglasses I found were too good of a deal to walk away from. The last employee I encountered was the last straw. I had to ask for the original designer sunglass case that usually comes with the glasses. After I paid for my purchase. She lays the receipt under my new sunglasses and walks away waving "Next Customer" with her little blue flag. DOESN'T EVEN GIVE ME A BAG!!! read more

Years ago I was in New York when I got a call from a friend of mine who is in Riverside saying guess what Nordstrom rack has just open 5 minutes from you. I could not wait to get back to see. A favourite store gooup right next to me instead of having to go to the Tyler mall throughout the years I have enjoyed shopping at Nordstrom rack to get discounts on my favourites UGG and other name brands. Love the shoes the jackets and the dresses what's even better is that I can get the perfume that I can get at the regular high-end store is there for discount so thank you for putting a Nordstrom rack next to me Within walking distance, I will always continue to shop there because it saves me money and I love the products read more

BEWARE! They tag items at a clearance price and switch it at the register. This dress was tagged at $19.49, I get to the register and the girl rips off the red clearance tag and tosses it. Then she says "the manufacturer price doesn't match the dress" I ask her how it's possible that Calvin Klein can tag their dress at another price and she told me "well some people get crafty and switch them " wow !!! How is that possible? This is clearly an error from the distribution center! The worst part is that the red tag that they put clearly shows the dress being marked down. I asked her to check her cameras since she was indirectly accusing me of switching a permanent tag on the dress. I can't believe customer service treats their customers that way when it's clearly the store tagging the dress at a discount CLEARANCE PRICE! The sensor didn't get taken off the dress I purchased so I had to come back to get it removed the next day. Since I don't live in Riverside and am here for a work trip, I had to take Uber which added $20 to the cost of this dress. I asked if I could get compensated in some way for their mistake, but they couldn't think of anything to do. I guess they were nice about it. Sort of an upsetting experience when I requested the handicap dressing room and was told it's for disabled people only only to need to explain I have MS and need to sit down to try things on because my balance is poor. I tried explaining that not all disabilities are visible but seemed to be dismissed. Let's train all employees to understand ADA laws and regulations. Not all disabilities are clear and visible. I have come here a few times. Really, when the deals are lower than a limbo pole is when I show up. Found some great buys today and the staff was very helpful. Fitting room attendants always seem to be upbeat and on their game. But one person in particular brightened up my experience the most. And it was at check out. Her name was Arene(hope I spelled that right). She was wearing a stylish thin denim outfit/dress with dark hair and kind eyes. Such a pleasant person. While this is a large, new and very bright and clean store, the selection falls a bit flat. No big brand designer items to be found this trip. I had to take care of an online return here and they were very fast and polite and took care of my issue quickly. Not worth rushing back to, but descent and a good addition to the area. read more

I just been to Nordstromrack here in riverside trying to return or exchange the shoes that I bought before my trip to europe. Since I use a gift card for that purchases and receipts can't be found. They did not allow me to return or exchange or any store credit to me. I was disappointed because I thought that I can be able to exchange or do the store credit. I just drive down here to do this transaction but only dismay on my part. Since I always go here.......... A few hours after I been to the store and called and spoke the assistant Manager. She approached me, get the information of the items that I bought and she initiated to check my transactions before and she found the information and gave me a chance to returned or exchange the shoes. Now i am so happy and thankful that they even give their time to me for this return and at the same time i learned my lesson to keep the receipts. Kudos to the assistant Manager and rest assured that I will always patronize your store since you have a reasonable prices and branded products. read more

Would definitely agree with previous review. Now that they have switched to long racks of clothes it makes it harder to find what I want. And more tedious. The very reasons I don't shop at Ross Or Burlington because you are also confined in these rows. before they were sectioned off by brand like department stores and had cute outfit setups. Now I walk in and walk out without spending much time there because I hate the look and feel of the store. It's just daunting with all those racks. You can find good deals here. However, it now looks and feels like a thrift store. The layout is the same as a thrift store and they have carts. Carts at a department store? Who do they think they are? Walmart? I see that multiple people have complained about that and instead of caring about the customers Nordstrom has responded by suggesting that someone shop online. How about fixing the problem instead. Online shopping for clothes nearly always leads to me making returns. Being able to try things on is important. I don't understand why they did this. Although the line to pay took a couple of hours the staff had positive attitudes and helped me if I needed something. As far as nordstrom racks go, I'm not a fan of this one. The men's section is very small. And after a conversation with a sales girl, I caught the drift that this location got other nordstrom rack leftovers. I really don't want to waste too much time writing about this place to be honest. Something really shady is going on at this store. I purchased a Michael Kors leather jacket on sale for $150 at the Nordstrom Rack in Ontario Mills. This was a large though and I wanted a medium, which was not in stock. The staff at Ontario Mills told me to purchase the large to lock in the one-day-only sales price, but that a medium was being held for me in Riverside. The next day, I went to Riverside and the medium was gone! Their computers said it was still in the store, but I talked to several people, including the weekend manager, who said it was "lost" and a common thing to happen in "such a big store". After half an hour of figuring out what was going on, I asked to order it from a different Rack and have it shipped to my house. I paid for a second jacket (in medium), but kept the original jacket (in large) just in case. Two weeks later, the medium arrives at my house and I go to return the large at my local Bay Area Rack. My cashier was super confused, because my receipt from Riverside indicated that I had returned the large and exchanged it for a medium (the missing one!). I had some trouble returning the large, since the receipt was for a medium! What I think really happened is that they have an issue with employee theft and processing this fake exchange accounted for this missing jacket in their store system. Practically, a random person is not going to steal a jacket with a huge anti-theft device attached so it only makes sense to me that the jacket being held for me "disappeared" with a store employee. read more
