My daughters; ages 10 & 4, needed outfits for a special event today. We went in with high hopes to find dresses, shoes and purses for them. The Kids Department lacks and is poorly organized. It took over 30 mins to find only TWO dresses in a kids size 4T. The dresses were far too casual for the event we were attending. Also, no purses other than a zippered dog on a collar thing. Needless to say, we left disappointed, especially when we couldn't find one associate to help us. read more

Good selection cant complain about that. what i will say is their line gets real long sometimes with only 2 people at the register. i do notice now when paying with card you can find employees around the store and check out with them also. but even then the line can get long regardless. read more

My husband I love this store that's so close to our new home in riverside. They keep every area clean and presentable. The staff is very friendly and open to helping you in any way. Good selections of high end clothing, purses, shoes, accessories, etc. We will be coming back again soon. read more

We've been coming here since it opened, and let me say I'm very thankful that we haven't crossed paths with manager Areen until today. You would think that a reputable company such as Nordstrom would have some strict criteria for their management positions, but this woman needs a refresher course in hospitality. Not only is she very coarse in her tone, she spends her time at the register looking over her employees shoulders instead of giving good service to the customer in front of her. I could bore you to death explaining in detail today's experience, so I'll just say avoid her register at all costs. Actually, just avoid being in her presence altogether. I haven't been in here in awhile. It used to be if you were paying with a card a member in green could help you. Maybe it's because of the holidays, but that was not the case. They had one person helping everybody in the middle of the store and all the registers open up front. I had asked several other members in green and they said the one in the middle or the front were the options. Whomp whomp! read more

The customer service at this store is absolutely horrible! I cannot believe this store is representing the Nordstrom name. I love love love this place! You can come here and get brand names items for cheap. I did buy a pair of nikes for $25 and a pair of Toms for $15. They are a very clean store and very friendly employees. I walked past about 4 employees and all of them asked me if I need assistance to please don't hesitate and ask. I do also love the location of the store. It is around other stores and restaurants. So after you are done, you can easily continue shopping or go eat somewhere. read more

Love shopping at this place, all your locations are pretty great especially the regular Nordstrom, and yes everything is priced at 2 million and more lol, they are expensive, but that's because it's quality items. I'll say this, if you can't afford it don't go, its as simple as that. The shoe's are great especially the gucci and prada sneakers. Call me crazy for spending thousands of dollars on gucci sneakers, but they just have a gleam to them, and besides I can afford it. Every time I shop here I have a great experience. Sometimes the lines are a lil crazy but it gets made up for with the customer service from the employees. I bought a pair of Hudson jeans a few weeks ago and didn't try them on but went to wear them last week and for some strange reason they smelled like gasoline or burnt plastic, can't really explain the smell but it wasn't pleasant. I work a lot of hours and haven't had time to return but I went today and Marquis helped me and was very nice and was more then happy to help me exchange without any hassle. He did an excellent job. I left feeling like he actually cares about his customers and enjoys his job. And I give him credit cause the lines were pretty long and he kept cool under pressure. The other two girls working at the checkout were extremely nice also. Just thought he should get some recognition for his superior service. Thanks Marquis! Appreciate the kind service. It's hard to get good service these days but Nordstrom rack at plaza is always on point. Great job. I will never ever shop here ever again! The STAFF is unprofessional an will racial profile you the minute you walk into the store. Immediately they started following me. It was so noticeable they were watching me shop the whole entire time by one of the workers watching my every move! She was so close to me, you would have thought we went there together to shop, the way she was following me. Like if your going to watch someone an make sure they aren't going to steal at least do it from a distance instead of basically breathing on their neck! I felt very uncomfortable there. The STAFF was rude! I could hear them talking to one another on my location and where I was headed. One of the workers stood behind me in line pretending to "PURCHASE" merchandise, I guess to make sure I was going to pay for the items that I had. As soon as I PAID FOR MY BELONGINGS, an walked out the store, one of the male employees is standing out front waiting for me to exit, and loudly and clearly over his walkie talkie says, "she's leaving now." So I look around to see who he is talking about and I'm the only person who has exited the store. So now I'm Furious an want to know why they were watching my every move. So I approach him and ask him does he know me? He says no. Then I see the two employee shoppers that were following me the entire time looking out the window watching me talk to him. I told him I would be filing a complaint because that's not right how the three of you were watching me the entire time. While I tried to shop peacefully, but instead you three made it very uncomfortable for me. This store lost a customer I will never return and the only reason I gave this racial profiling store a one star is because that's the only way I am able to write a review! read more

I was shopping here last week and I was very displeased how the lady with short blonde hair treats the employees, I am assuming she is a manager since she isn't in uniform. The young girls who work here are always sweet and have great customer service, yet I watched as she did not ask but demanded one of the girls to check me out, I felt awful because I could see the girls spirit breaking. This wasn't the first time I've witnessed this, my husband pointed out that she talks at them not to them. I as a succesful business owner highly recommend that she realizes that those polite young ladies are the reason she stays in business and shouldn't treat them so poorly. I guess in their company they don't need people skills to promote. I would call corporate but I don't want her to take it out on the girls. read more

Sadly my daughter (who is going through a lot of problems) got caught shop lifting at this store. The items were NOT damaged and they did put the items back on the rack to be sold as usual. We receive a notice saying we owe them $475 for the items. This is clearly a way for Nordstroms to make a profit. Not only do they get to keep the items that were not damaged but they also get to make $475 off of it. read more

Good selection of clothes and line moves pretty quickly. You can find good deals and most clothes are good quality. Found a couple of shirts slightly damaged, but otherwise good stuff. This location is probably the best in Southern California. Try it! read more
