I dont do review but this office is so unorganized and unprofessional…read more I was refer here by my dentise as my daughter needed to be put to sleep. I called and ask to make an apt first would not make one tell i sent them then paperwork whichbwas fine. This office is an hour 30 mins from my house the day of the apt I get a call at 8am my apt was at 830 the call said I was late I told them I have an email with the time on it and that I was not. I get there at 8:15 and office was closed. I called and they said I was at wrong office again email conform I was not. I drove extra 20 mins and got there. The Dentis himself was very nice and look at my daughter and made a plan for end of Feb. The dentist said need a physical 30days before she went under. I called got an apt early in month which was fine. The Dentist said just needed to bring paperwork with me day of apt. I then get an email saying my apt was on monday Feb 23 I told then that apt was Tues 24. Then got a text saying apt was at 12pm on 24th the Dentist told me I would not get tiĺl day before the apt. Then I get an email saying they need the information from the Doctor office. Thank God I made an early apt because Dentist himself told me not to do tell middle of month and know saying if dont have paperwork tomorrow they will cancel my daughter apt. This offer so bad. I will never go back. I am kinda scared to even have them touch my daughters month.

I have a terrible phobia of the dentist from a previous dental trauma as a young child. I am specifically afraid of Novocain. I walked in the office and was greeted by the wonderful front desk who put me at ease with their kindness. I was in the exam room and when it was time for me to get numb I started to panic and began to cry. Dr Kevin Truong was incredible. He immediately put me at ease reassuring me that I was okay and did not judge my fear at all. The Novocain was virtually pain free. I did hold my husband's hand and his dental assistant was amazing! I also held her hand as she spoke gently to me to ease my fear. The procedure was far less scary than I had anticipated and I was able to make it through the entire procedure with very little anxiety. I am so blessed to have found an excellent dental office with the kindest and most gentle staff. I cannot recommend them enough!

I was with this practice for quite some time and eventually got my spouse to go with them too…read more But, at some point, I began to notice a kind of "upselling" and "switcharoo" tactics that made me begin questioning things. For me, it started during an extraction when during the procedure they began to pitch me on different options that were never discussed prior. Not knowing anything, I blindly agreed to one option which cost me $1200 out of pocket. I blame myself for not stopping right there and getting the details, but when you're already anxious and in the middle of a procedure, there's little time to think and respond thoughtfully. Both my spouse and I got the whole "night guard" pitch which was, again, during our procedures. It's not prudent, to me, to be stuck in a chair with people's faces staring down at you being pitched an upsell! Now, it may be coincidence, but when I arrived for one visit I noticed a beautiful, expensive Porsche in front. While sitting in the chair, Dr. H was talking about a new boat. It was uncomfortable, especially knowing how much I was paying even with good insurance. The last straw for both of us was when we went in on separate dates for routine cleanings. This was covered by insurance and should have been in and out business. However, we were BOTH denied our cleanings and told we needed new X rays, which we did - because they told us we needed them. Once they did the x rays, they told us that they could not do the cleanings because we each needed deep scaling. Again, we were denied basic cleanings and told we "needed" deep scaling. That meant 4 separate appointments, one for each quadrant. The cost? $350 out of pocket PER SESSION. This was after the insurance cut. Both my spouse and I had the exact same pitch that we needed deep scaling despite going at different times. Later, I spoke to others who had the same experiences. Well, we went to another practice down the road. They asked us to get our x rays from Dr. H who told us it would be $70 each. I was flummoxed. Our new practice said that was ridiculous and got the x rays themselves from Dr. H without any fee - practice to practice. The new practice examined both my spouse and I and said that deep scaling was unnecessary and our teeth were in actually in great shape. We are very happy and have never once been upsold on alternative options for procedures, night guards, or deep scaling. It was clear that they would have made a lot more from that deep scaling than the basic routine cleaning and that is the reason for this review: $$$$ I gave two stars because the staff they have are very friendly and the doctors, themselves, are a lovely couple. They care about their customers and I respect that. However, they are also a business looking to make money in ways that I don't particular find comfortable. I hope things have changed there, but if you go, be smart about what you need and how much things cost. Get quotes before you have any work done!!
