This cleaners does an amazing time and there turnaround is unbelievable. Their staff is super friendly and their quality is unmatched. P.S. I will not be going back to Norgetown, which is unfortunate. I am upset that the customer service person did not, nor attempt to use a mask or social distance. I can understand those working with hot steam, but the person helping customers at a thin counter should be wearing a mask to protect their customers. It's essential we all do our parts to help stop the spread of COVID until a vaccine is developed. I hope this gets to those at this business and doesn't fall on deaf ears. read more

Great local drycleaners! I have been going to Norgetown for many years now. The service is outstanding and friendly. Everyone who waits on me is so great. And in all the years I have gone there, I have never had a garment ruined, nor have they failed to get out a stain. They on-site tailor is wonderful. She is affordable and her work is just terrific. Recently they started using eco-friendly products and I really appreciate that. I have also never had a problem with my clothing being ready on the promised date. Highly recommended! read more

I called Norgetown Cleaners last week on Wednesday to see if they could alter a bridesmaid dress that day after I got off work at 4:30PM. It was short notice but I was running out of time before the wedding date. They said that the seamstress leaves for the day at 4:00PM so this arrangement could not be made but that I could come in next Tuesday and she'd stay until 5:00PM for me. Her staying late was offered to me, and I did not ask for this as it was obviously not their standard process. I asked if an appointment was needed and they said no - just swing by. I was extremely happy with their customer service and was amazed that they would go the extra mile for a new customer. I arrived today at about 4:45PM, which is earlier than they asked and the guy working told me that the seamstress had already left for the day. I explained that when I called last week they had told me to stop by at this time and that the seamstress would stay late for me, I had held off on getting my dress altered as they told me that today would be an OK day to come by. I was offered no explanation or apology for wasting my time and just left after being told, again, that the seamstress had already left. I do not plan on rescheduling with this cleaners and will not return for any other services, this experience was enough for me. read more

Very poor quality. I bought couple of my uniform pants here to alter for shorter length. After couple washed, the threads came off. I had to fix it myself. As it is a uniform and I need to use it, don't have time to bring it in and wait for couple days for her to fix. Later, the other pants happened the same, I got so upset and still need to fix it myself again. Never want to come back here. read more

My husband and I have been going to Norgetown for quite some time now, and always recommend it to our family/friends. Every time I go in, their service is personable and quick. They also have an on-site seamstress which makes it easy to get items repaired or altered when dropping off my dry cleaning items. 5 stars!!! read more

I've had clothing mended and tailored and it's always exceeded expectations. Most times I walk in and they have my clothes on the rack ready for me because they saw me walking up. Let me be honest, you really get what you pay for here. They cater to you in terms of service, and their quality is excellent. Some of the other dry cleaners I've been to hand back clothes that stink of chemicals, but you don't get any of that here. Hands down the best dry cleaners I've ever used! They are fast and I've never had a problem with how they've cleaned our clothes. No weird smell, not too much starch - just right! Not to mention that they are super friendly. The owner knows me by name and always takes time to have a personal conversation with me. I have tried different dry cleaners around bloomingdale area and I can say this cleaners does a great job and has very nice staff. I especially recommend this place for alterations. This is the worst place I have ever gone to! I had a wedding to go to and I bought this beautiful designer dress that cost me about $400. It was long so I just needed it hemmed. I brought it in here for them to just hem it and the seamstress (if you can even call her that) suggested that she put in a built in bra in the dress. I wasn't able to wear one because the way the dress is designed so I thought that was a good idea. Guess what, it wasn't! She completely ruined the dress! The cups she put in the dress were way too small and made my boobs look lumpy! I was so mad, and they even snagged the fabric and said it would cost extra for them to fix it. They took the cups out and completely hacked up the sewing job where the cups once were. I had to take the dress elsewhere obviously to get it fixed and it's still not the same as when I bought it. If you need alterations done on anything, do yourself a favor and DON'T bring it here. This was the worst experience of my life! Just pay the extra money at the store you bought your clothes from. It's not worth the mess and frustration of bringing it here. read more

I love the people who work here. Everyone has a smile, they remember you, and their services are reasonably priced. My clothes always come back well-pressed and without the nasty dry cleaning smell I've experienced at other places. They've removed sewing machine oil from a new dress I needed to wear in two days (and talked me out of a heart attack) and cupcake frosting from a silk dress (that's what I get for helping carry leftovers after a wedding!). It's conveniently located in a nice little shopping center a few doors down from Caputo's and across the street from Walgreen's, so it's a short stop while running errands. read more

My wife tried Norgetown Cleaners because the location was convenient and we continued to use them because the prices and quality were good. My wife also liked the staff and the fact there was a tailor on staff. So, I agreed to change from the cleaner I had been using for years. One day she brought our clothes home and I noticed a man's shirt that was not mine. I then noticed that one of my shirts was missing. It appeared to be a simple mistake that was hopefully easily rectified. So, we bring the shirt back and asked if anyone else returned a shirt that didn't belong to them. We described it perfectly as it was a short sleeve summer shirt with green vertical stripes. Very obvious if someone returned it. They said no and somehow didn't seem to be too concerned they made a mistake. The good part of all my shirts was that my last name was written in marker on the tail by another cleaner so it would be easily identified. We left the shirt we returned and checked every time we dropped off another load of laundry to see if my shirt was returned. They said it wasn't. What bothered me was that we paid for the wrong shirt to be cleaned and they never gave us a credit or reimbursed us for the cleaning of that shirt. They also never offered to pay for the shirt they lost. It's not the cost of the shirt or the cleaning of the wrong shirt that we paid for that bothered me. It was that they didn't offer anything for their mistake or didn't seem to care they made a mistake. I bet someone came in to claim the shirt that we returned and probably weren't asked if they received a shirt that wasn't theirs (with my name on the tail). Very unprofessional. So, guess what ... we went back to the cleaners I was using previously. read more
