amazing energy from the waiter, clean restaurant, cute interior…read more and most importantly BOMB ASS SUSHI!!!! ngl i was a bit skeptical since they serve both japanese and korean food (usually places like this are either bad at both cuisines or are only good at doing one) but they shocked me!!! im so happy to know theres an amazing sushi spot near me now!! my roll was crunchy but still soft enough where i could bite it in half with ease. PERFECTION!! the spicy edamame was soooo good and that's coming from someone that doesn't really care for edamame. the spicy garlic sauce made it taste so much better. their pork bulgogi is also soft and the sauce has good flavor as well. i was blown awayyy. totally recommend trying!!

Looking around, they have K-POP (not demon hunters) music playing on a tv and another playing sports. The tables have a glossy marble finish. Some of the walls are bare rock, the others are a smooth finish. When I had gotten my Sashimi and Nigiri it was put on a fancy plate with little white thingys and lemon, ginger, and a flower. Eating the sashimi was amazing; it was cold and soft. It had a nice pink-red color and was very nice to eat. When I had tried the Nigiri, the salmon and rice was warm, with the salmon being soft, like the sashimi. TL;DR: Service was great, Ambience was great, and the food was served with glory and deliciousness. Overall a 5 star Japanese/Korean restaurant. Would recommend.

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

We came in late on a weekend night (perhaps arrived around 9PM) and the place was mostly empty. Food came out fast. Our family really liking the taste and the variety.

We filled up the table but I figured it wouldn't be a big deal because there was barely anyone else in there on. Monday. Our waiter was clearly not interested in working last night. It was all in his attitude. It started with our drink orders. I tried to order the drink I normally order. His response was a disgusted face and "What?" before finally telling me they didn't have the key ingredient. Next, half the party got salad and half got soup. We waited another 20 minutes for everyone to get either their other soup or salad. My sushi comes but I have nothing to drink. Not water or the lemon drop I ordered when I arrived. By the time I finished my sushi and drank my child's water, my watered down lemon drop came. It was clear it had been sitting in the ice for a minute. Now, let's talk about the hibachi. After the rice and vegetables were cooked, the stove went out. They spent another 15-20 minutes trying to fix that instead of just moving us. There was really no show because all the time was spent fixing the cooktop. Lastly, it took exactly 45 minutes to get the checks after we finished eating. He never even came back to let us know what was going on. We just saw other people paying their checks and leaving. Once we got up to stop waiting and leave, then someone ran over with some checks. Of course there was mandatory gratuity already included for that horrible service.

This is not your typical sushi restaurant as evident from its long sushi bar to its upstairs private booths. We were one of the first to arrive for a weekday happy hour and enjoyed trying various sushi, miso cod, and cold Japanese beer. We wish that frenetic Lily's was not the next sushi exploration stop on our progressive activity as we were spoiled by Edo's tranquil environment and quality food at Edo. The hamachi kama yaki was a lovely presentation of a very large grilled collar. Our request to modify the orange blossom roll for regular tuna instead of spicy tuna and no mayo was not a problem either. The jalapeno yellow tail roll was generous portion and again- hold the mayo please! Very pleasant and non rushed service. Only odd note were the photos on the menu- guess that was needed before diners became more familiar with the cuisine. Plenty of parking in its private parking lot in the N. Point shopping area. Looking forward to our next visit!

The sushi rolls were made with rice that looked more like brown rice than traditional white sushi rice. When we asked our server about it, he explained that it was "caramelized rice" prepared with vinegar. Whatever the process was, it completely distorted the flavor of the rolls. The food also looked nothing like the photos, and the portions were surprisingly small. My lychee martini tasted like a lemon-drop martini and had to be returned and remade twice. Overall, the food and drinks simply were not good. For a Japanese restaurant, the quality and flavor of the sushi were especially disappointing. We would not return.
