I tried this place via delivery today and I'll say it's not for me but it's not bad, reason being is I don't like the cuts of meat. I am so picky so this is most likely on me. Thigh meat is not usually my go to unless it's bone on. Fire Chicken Mini Plate - this was not really spicy in any sense. I didn't like the meat texture it feels a bit undercooked but that could just be me, this is on top of a bed of cabbage and broccoli Portions are very good for both plates Bbq Plate with Beef & Chicken - the flavors were great on the chicken bbq and beef bbq but again the chicken thigh meat throws me off but this is not as bad as the texture on the fire chicken, this is also on a bed of cabbage and broccoli This is my first time trying the Mac Salad, not bad! Rice is plain rice it was as plain rice tastes. Again this is on me, flavors are there and tasty but the cuts of meat would deter me to try it again unless they offered chicken breasts then I think I'd rate this place high! read more

I can't leave 2025 behind without leaving a review for this business. I have ordered multiple times from here since I had heard of them opening. I have been down to the store inside for pickup at least twice while in the area and delivered countless other times. The staff were super nice the times I did go down. The layout inside was pretty chill when I went in and looked like a good place to sit down and eat if you wanted to. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking in front usually. Having been born and raised in Hawaii, nothing is gonna compare to certain favorite spots from home when it comes to quality, flavor, and authenticity just due to having certain ingredients available right there as well (especially fresh local fish/seafood and produce). That being said, I have actually really enjoyed the plates for the most part from here. No offense to Waikikie in DeKalb, but this place definitely is a step up. Yes, I've been to the L&L in Cobb which was great also (have not been to the Mulberry/Dacula one yet). I was raised on L&L, so I expected them to be good, but as a standalone restaurant (to my knowledge) this is a satisfying establishment. When I first got to ATL there were not a lot of places offering regional dishes from Hawaii. I had to learn how to make all my favorites pretty quickly, aside from the dishes I already knew how to make. Hawaiian Kitchen in Duluth was pretty great, but I was sad that they had to rebrand after the pandemic. I was happy when this place popped up within the past couple years. They do a pretty good job! The portions are in line with what I grew up on. The mac salad is actually one of the better ones I've had - reminds me of some places on Maui and Oahu. It's just the right amount of creaminess and it's smooth. There's a hint of acidity and sweetness typical to plate lunch mac salad I grew up on and I think they add in just a little but of tuna for umami flavor but not too much to overpower it. I like it too because unlike some places there are no harshly grated carrots crunching in the mac salad when you eat it. The BBQ beef is probably my favorite dish here. It's always tender and flavorful. I prefer their house salad over the steamed cabbage and broccoli that is served here. Honestly for a bed underneath the meat I would love to see some shredded cabbage like they do in Asian restaurants back home, but that's just what I prefer and am used to. The katsu is good here but it's been hit or miss sometimes as to whether the katsu sauce gets packed which always makes me a little sad, because it's then missing some flavor. I know it's not hard to whip up katsu sauce but it's also nice to get what you order in entirety. I would like to see maybe tartar sauce and fresh lemon slices added to the fish plates also. It's traditional back home and just adds some extra flavor of course. Overall, I like their combos. I've had the kalua pig with and without cabbage, BBQ chicken, musubis, and other items. I would like to try more items but I usually stick to the beef and mac salad or kalua pig. Yes, I know it's probably not coming out of an imu, but honestly it's just a great place to grab a filling lunch or dinner. When you're so far from home, sometimes it's nice to just grab a familiar favorite on the nights you can't or don't feel like cooking. I will definitely continue to support this business in 2026 and I hope they stay around for a long while! read more

This place is tucked in a corner by trees that blocked the sign from multiple angles. I had to call and ask for directions from the parking lot and the guy was nice. The Hawaiian BBQ was pretty salty, but everything else was great! The cabbage, rice, broccoli, and macaroni salad balanced it into a great-tasting plate. I wish there were more Hawaiian places here but am kind of content with the Hawaiian restaurants in GA so far. read more

You can miss the restaurant as they currently are in the process of changing their sign over but it is the old Sweet Fresh location. Seating is fairly limited and not great for large parties but we noticed that a lot of the business was to-go orders (they are on DoorDash ). Food portion was perfect for the price. read more

Stumbled across this Hawaiian BBQ spot in Snellville (Webb Gin) and decided to roll the dice. I ordered the chicken katsu, BBQ chicken, and crab rangoon to get a little taste of everything. The katsu was crispy and pretty good but the BBQ chicken stole the show. On top of that, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

The customer serve was very nice, the atmosphere is cute. It was kinda misleading because the pictures on its page are vibrant and delicious looking. So I decided to try it, it wasn't too tasty. The food tastes like it's all frozen food. Meaning it tasted air fried and cheat. Not a good taste to me. The drinks looked beautiful too but they are very watery. The food is decent, good at times but what really sucks about this place is the staff's attitude. Ive been to this location twice, first time the service was extremely dry and they seemed almost bothered that we were in the restaurant ordering food mind you they were busy and the staff is younger, the female seemed overwhelmed so i thought maybe shes having a rough day like most humans have, however my second time at this location started strong and promising. I ordered on the little kiosk because they have a register just for looks, you don't order at the counter you ordered at the glorified computer screen on the wall I put in my orders printed the receipt asked the guy if it was for carry out since it said dine in he very rudely said yes like i was already supposed to know and I went on about my waiting. When I received my food, I smelled fish. I don't eat fish and I'm allergic to fish so I know I wouldn't have chosen fish on the screen however, I go up to the front till and tell the irritated looking man that there was an accident, a mistake. This is not what I wanted nor what I clicked on the screen the seafood category and salad are pretty spaced out. He then said well that's not my problem and thats what you ordered, just like that off rip. I never came up saying they made the mistake, he keeps saying "You're the one that ordered on the screen" I said I understand however i dont eat fish so to go from the salad category to seafood is a jump I would just like a refund and it just went bad from there. It was his goal to keep rudely going back and forth with me until i told him he doesn't have to be rude about it and how previously the staff was also rude, his response was "I've never seen you a day in my life and i don't work for you" I have never met a sassier man in my entire life with the worst attitude I've ever seen. First time I've ever had food from this restaurant and it was delicious!!! Perfect amount of shrimp and fish. I love their macaroni salad too. I first had this style of fish and macaroni salad in Denver while visiting my son. It is now one of our favorite places to eat when I visit. I always miss the food and have been wishing there would be a similar restaurant near me. Well--wishes do come true! The dishes all come with sticky rice which I also love--just know it's plain rice with no sauces or anything. I love rice this way but felt lots of people might not so wanted to make that clear. I had the food delivered so cannot speak to restaurant itself but the main reason to go to a restaurant is the food--so go here or get a delivery or do a take out because this is fabulous food!!! read more
