At 5 years old with a life jacket, my daughter had a great opportunity to go in the deep end starting at 7 feet to 13 feet on the pool. The 2 lifeguards were in the pool to help any swimmers for eggs or any assistance in the water. The staff to exchange the eggs for prizes were also attentive to the guests and answer any questions i have. Swimmers are allowed to collect 15 eggs total. I didnt mind my daughter wanted to leave in 15 minutes of starting this eveny because we live about 16 miles away and we were there earlier for open swim for 2 1/2 hours. Defintely Facebook picture worthy, of course not for helicopter parents. The indoor pool and restroom were a bit drafty and i may have left this facility with a cold in the works. There's a ice rink for hockey and a track upstairs to exercise and people view down below. Small parking lot. Place is kempt. Employees are friendly.

All she did was talk about herself during yoga exercise classes, which detracted from any good energy. This went on in every session. At the "V" we consider ourselves more than a pool; it is really a place in the neighborhood where our member families can enjoy the summer! Just like any organization, we have some things that require maintenance like the pool, the grounds and our clubhouse. Over the past 2 years, we needed to put in place a "special assessment" that would allow us not only to improve the pool facilities, but to enhance the experience of our club through a renovated pool house, improved landscaping to our grounds and a clean and safe pool. I would encourage any existing, new or future members to come and see the architectural plans we will be executing on our pool house this year, they are remarkable! I think that you will find as although we have a focused improvement plan on the above areas, we also continue to focus on improving the overall experience for our member families. The "V" has a long standing reputation as a positive environment in our community and for our member families, we will continue to grow and foster this reputation. The have an elevator too if you don't want to walk two flights of stairs. In the first floor are the weight machines and free weights the one on one training is an open space on the first floor. The staff is friendly, they also have a lounge area with a tv and outlets if you need to charge your phone or work on your laptop rest chill. They also have vending machines, prices kinda high but you're paying for convenience. Overall nice gym I go back to... and close to Mariano's and Starbucks that i also go to.

Back in the day there used to be 3 slides but they took those out. The hours are slightly ridiculous as they are never open....only 2 hours during the week which is very inconvenient for adults who work and would like to swim after 5. Prices aren't that cheap either...$7 for residents on the weekends. They also take 15 min breaks every hour where everyone needs to exit the pool. During swim, they have lifeguard/safety drills where they rescue a drowning dummy and go through the regular protocol. They will announce on the speaker that it is a test so you aren't left wondering. Oh, and the concession stand appeared to be closed, for good.

Pools are high maintenance and really do call for an experienced professional not someone who wants to do a poor installation and take advantage of a first time pool owner as myself.
