The front desk checks your bags to make sure there are no improper items. Unopened bottles of nonalcoholic drinks are allowed. Besides the fact that it's super fun to have a pool filled only with people you know, it's even better when the lifeguards rock. The staff was so much fun. My friend's husband and I were having a very ridiculous diving board competition (more like who-could-land-the-worst competition) and the guards were all about joining in our laughter. The manager, Brad, has many years experience on the premise and knows how to make it a comfortable experience for most everyone who visits. The board has done a great job of spending limited funds where they are most effective. The end result is just a nice place to spend a couple hours, or more, a couple of days, or more, a week. One of the new additions this year is D'Cappos providing food from the "snack" deck. The everyday provisions are fine and the add ons during the weekend are fantastic!! Jerry brings high end restaurant food to the little shack on the snack deck. Tonight I took Cavatelli with a light white garlic and fresh squash sauce and a delicious Bruchetta home. Can't do that at any other pool I've ever been to. Where did that come from?? The board made another good decision from my point of view.
