Great service with good food. The cafe is a grab and go so you need to eat somewhere else.

I was getting my car fixed and came In here to wait yesterday. Nice find. Extremely friendly staff…read more The brunette barista yesterday morning is excellent at her job. She was taking and making all the orders by herself with waves of people coming in. Excellent multi tasking skills while maintaining her friendly upbeat composure. I had the ham Serrano sandwich with arugula and cilantro dressing and a drip coffee. Wow. Very tasty. I'm not sure where they get their bread from but it just melts in your mouth. Coffee was great. The very nice thing to see was the employee was wearing gloves while making my food. Thank you for that! And also the sandwich was $7.99!! The only thing I'd say is to get a storage pod. Boxes and clutter everywhere in the back of restaurant. Kind of an eye soar. The bathrooms and restaurant are clean otherwise. I look forward to coming back when my car is in the shop next door. I want to try the horchata frappe. Keep up the good work! Five stars for the excellent employee yesterday morning.

There have been multiple occasions where I come in order and he is very rude. But today was the last straw for me. (Literally) I placed a online order through DoorDash for pick up and I arrive to the shop with nobody inside not a single customer or employee to greet me. I waited a few minutes to see if anyone would come out and nobody did. It was a ghost town until 15 minutes later after I kept asking hello out loud and squeaking my shoes to see if I could summon anyone that he finally came out and I told him hello. I have a DoorDash order and he said name? Ticket.? nothing?? and started walking off and I told them my name and he just got my drink and I told him can. I at least get my straw and threw it at me. I don't know what this dude's problem is, but this café really needs new ownership

The café itself has a decent atmosphere, but it didn't really stand out to me compared to other coffee spots I've visited. I tried the Halo-Halo latte and the Bibingka latte. Both drinks were interesting and drinkable, but neither left a lasting impression. The flavors were unique and inspired by Filipino desserts, which I appreciated, but I found them more "good" than "great." I also ordered the Nutella Croissant, which was enjoyable but nothing particularly memorable. One thing that stood out was the pricing. The drinks and pastries felt a bit expensive for what they were, especially coming from Orange County where I feel like similar cafés offer comparable quality at lower prices. Since I was just visiting the area, the price difference was pretty noticeable. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit by any means. The drinks were okay, the food was okay, and the service was fine. I'm glad I gave it a try, but it's probably not a café I'd go out of my way to recommend or revisit. If you're nearby and curious about Filipino-inspired coffee drinks, it may be worth checking out once, but I wouldn't consider it a must-visit spot.

There were parking spots readily open in the small plaza, but I can see how this parking lot can fill up incredibly fast. The ambiance is cute, creating a modern aesthetic coffee shop. They do have restrooms, and they also have citrus water for pour and grab near the entrance. I ended up ordering a standard iced hazelnut latte. And boy was it sweet. I honestly tasted 0 hazelnut. & that's that I had swirled and mixed the coffee soooooo much to ensure it was mixed right. It tasted like simple syrup, milk and espresso, and for $8, I was disappointed. Unfortunately, the hard truth is after the first 4 sips I told my friend how I did not like the coffee. I order hazelnut lattes readily often to know what a good one tastes like, it's sad to see hojas fall short. Customer service was subpar, the lady at the register felt unwelcoming, and it almost felt like a dirty look, could've been in my head, but I was taken back for sure. I was like dang girl what I do?? Needless to say, I use to keep this place bookmarked a few years ago, but I'm taking it off for now. Ambrosia definitely keeps a more welcoming environment, better coffee and it's not too far away.
