When I arrived, there was no one in the store, I made my selection, but since it was a little cold inside, I went outside to sit in the sun, I sat for some time when I walked in to check my order I was not greeted, and I waited for a while to then have someone from the back then Let me know that my açai bowl was ready and had already been just sitting out on a shelf. One would think, since I was the only person there they would have alerted me, knocked on the window, or said something that my order was ready. I was not far away, but just sitting on their patio. My açai bowl was already melted. When I grabbed it, it was absolutely disgusting. The fruit tasted old. The best thing were the blueberries, but that was not worth me keeping it, instead I just threw it away, it was a waste of money and experience that no one should ever endure. Wanted something fresh and delicious after an afternoon at the beach and was not disappointed! There are quite a few menu items, and I ultimately decided on the punkish pitaya. It wasn't too busy when I came in on a late Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't super loud inside (except for when things were being blended). There's not too much seating inside, but there was plenty of space to wait for my order. After a short wait, the staff called out my order. The large was...large! The top was stacked with a bunch of sliced fruit, all of which tasted really fresh and delicious. There was a good amount of the blended base under it. I wish I had maybe mixed the fruit into the base before digging in, because by the time I was halfway through the base, I was pretty much out of the toppings! I don't think the proportions were off by any means, just something I would have done differently to help the fruit last through the entire bowl. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. I would definitely stop by again when I'm in the area! read more

The shop is clean with cute art painted on the walls and outside. It can be a bit noisy if you're trying to sit and visit on the outdoor patio. I recommend taking a 5 min drive down to Paseo Del Mar to enjoy your drink, a view, and time with a friend (it can often be windy so dress accordingly). I haven't had an açaí bowl from the shop yet. Be very aware about this business all of there employees are in this side hustle to charge you tip without your consent what they do is have you swipe your card then your supposed to sign on their screen but instead they tell you, your drink will be ready they complete your transaction with a added tip and a signature this has happened to me three times. I called my credit card company. This place has quickly gone down hill. As one of the only places in San Pedro to sell juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls, I would highly suggest the owners take more consideration when hiring their staff. In the last couple of months, I've had nothing but bad experiences at this location. The staff is rude and dismissive and the quality of the food prep has been unacceptable. Today was the last straw. I came in to order an açaí bowl. Girl was rude from the start. I sat outside to eat it and noticed it's really runny. Like I need a straw to drink it'. Asked the worker if she can remake it to a thicker consistency and she rolled her eyes and walked away from me. I watched her make it and she made it with water from the faucet instead of juice as listed in the menu. Then she barely cut the fruit just slapped big pieces of banana on top and put the honey in one spot instead of the usual drizzle. Then she slams it on the counter and walked away. But overall uncomfortable environment and rude behavior. Owners, PLEASE consider who you hire to provide customer service. Rockin' Roadside Juice spot was a interesting and tasty treat today. We ordered açaí bowls & they were yummers. Ingredients fresh and proper. Good curb appeal on all the bowls, great tasting. What I found so interesting is the triumvirate of themes developing at this spot. 1) Pedro vibes skulls, tattoos, and rock n roll music & rock n roll menu themes. 2) Health nut sayings on the wall, healthy offerings, healthy menu & ingredients. 3) Garage sale decor including an old trunk with some Holly Hobby pillows and sewing projects by a grandma crew. Tables were clean enough as long as you didn't plan on licking them. Parking lot behind spot was pure lost boys shabby, with cigarettes discarded and odd trash items (there's a liquor store back there)... Staff friendly, food great, expensive modern pricing.
