I'll never go back here again based of the customer service alone. When I walked in no one greeted me, half the staff didn't even look up and the other half looked at me lost like they forgot their manners so I had to say hi first. Then got treated very nonchalantly by one of the workers. My glasses are only 4 months old and I was told I should've came sooner to do anything about my issues. I have a full-time job and they're open during work hours, and I can't see any other Dr besides the one who did my first check up, and she doesn't work weekends so... I walk out with no one telling me to have a nice day or anything, just crickets. I was very respectful, just inquiring about my glasses situation, and I was met with nothing but rude energy. The staff is pretty quick and efficient! Everyone was nice and knowledgeable. My exam was quicker than what I'm used to back in Seattle, but the Dr seemed thorough. Horrible. As a follow up to my review, they sent me a letter in the mail to harass me because they wanted to "have the last word". Despite me telling them I would never come back to a place that lacked such compassion for people and neither would my son, they sent me a letter. I saw the ENVELOPE & I was curious. I thought don't even tell me they're sending a bill. I opened it to see that it was a letter. My son and I, before reading it, thought it must be an apology letter. NOPE!!!! It was a letter informing me I wouldn't be accepted into their practice and that my record (even though I haven't been there in 10 years) would be erased. Huh?!?! Lololol!!! You wasted your stamp just because you're that petty and you wanted the last word? How beneath me would it be to go there after what you did to me and my elderly mom on Saturday? Shame on me if I go there again. You disgust me. You should have sent me an apology letter after the way you treated me and my mother. Don't you dare contact me in any way, shape, form again! Even my son's contacts you couldn't get right and when they came in no one bothered to call us. My son even asked "why did we change this year and go there? I liked our old place better?". I said "don't worry, we're going back, I just thought it'd be closer". Boy, it's worth the gas for better more honest care! It's not so much how evil they were to me by refusing me despite me being in the office within the 10 min grace period, the girl just kept talking until 12:31pm and said you're one minute late. It's the fact that they all saw the next person arriving, because she said the next customer is here, that means she saw me and my mom arrive. She saw my struggle, getting the walker out, helping my elderly sick mom out, walking from Hayes to the office which is far. They saw that and they were so evil, they didn't have the compassion to understand we're all human, kindness should prevail in this world. They had no kindness. They sent no apology letter. Mark at the Shelby Township location, who I now found out is the office manager helped me with my order. I just had my eyes dilated so I was counting on him for help. The one request I had was NO tint. I received Anti-glare glasses with blue light blocking which puts a blue cast on your face and reflects magenta on your lenses. Spoke to Mark on 3/29/2023 at 4:38 pm and he tells me that this was not ordered, and he would reach out to the lab to see if there was a mistake. Asked me to drop off the glasses to get new lenses. I stopped in the office on 3/30/2023 at approximately 3:45 pm, had other people helped that came in after me while I waited for Mark. He took my glasses and I asked if I could see my invoice and prescriptions, since all I received was the debit card payments for $651.00. Yes, I did pay for the Anti-glare glasses with blue light blocking. I was then told I had to reach out to Davis Vision to receive back the $100 (+) I was charged. I disputed that as I paid them, he insisted they don't get any on the money insurance takes it all. I leave unhappy and go home call Davis, they call the office while I am on hold and Mark tells them I ordered it. This is so wrong in so many ways. After I pick up my glasses, I will NEVER go back here! read more

Wow oh wow! Amazing here! I forgot my doctors name but he and the staff was friendly, funny, and helpful. I came in with smiles and giggle and I left with more. They probably thought I was on something haha. My cousin came with me and she was even shocked with the service. Super grateful to find this place. I am impressed. The doctor was excellent. The exam was extremely quick and yet very thorough. The office is very nice and well organized. They have plenty of staff and I have not had to wait more the 5 minutes for assistance during a visit. My eyeglasses were ready exactly in the time promised. This use to be my favorite place to go for my eye examination. After having an appointment and being told they're over book for my appointment and me needing to cancel after sitting in the car for almost an hour. The service has been going down for a couple of years. I wouldn't recommend this place to my family or friends again. read more

Best Eye doctor I've ever been to! The staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful! Dr. Gerald Blazius did a very thorough exam and has a great sense of humor! Very knowledgeable too! Yolanda, who helped me choose my new frames, was super sweet! I love my new frames and can't wait to get them! What impressed me the most was that they accept ALL insurances!! Dr. Jay Blazius is an outstanding optometrist and a down-to-earth nice guy. He's been my eye doctor for more than a decade. My prescription was royally fouled up by ophthalmologists when my insurance company required me to see them because of diabetes. Dr. Blazius got it right and he follows up yearly with my diabetes eye exams. You'll also find him throughout Macomb County at civic, community and school events, always looking out for others in a caring way. They don't make them any better! read more

My family has been to 2 of the Normandy locations. Drs at both have been excellent. Very knowledgeable. Staff at both were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I both ordered the same lenses, however my lenses were $45.00 more. When I questioned my bill nobody could explain why there was a price difference. The woman who helped us up charged me for no reason, except to make me pay more. There was absolutely no reason for my lenses to cost more. Nobody there could give me a reason why she did that. Check your bill carefully! Will probably look elsewhere for an eye doctor. read more
