Beware of the best price VS finance rate scam. I bought my first car, a civic here. I am from india. The sales rep was friendly and after some haggling I thought I got a very good price. Then came the financing part. I was given a 2% rate more than normal for an almost excellent credit score. I just assumed that, those are the rates for excellent credit scores. My mistake was, I did not shop around for the loan. So, it looked like they gave me a great price, but took back more than that via interest rate. I may buy here again, but now I am a more informed customer. read more

I LOVE the service center here. They are always courteous and efficient and I've never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes (tip: it always helps to call ahead to see if they have room in their schedule, but this should be a given). They give a complimentary car wash on every visit and their waiting area is clean and offers free wifi. I normally come here to get my oil changed but my last visit was a result of a terrible time trying to find a battery for my Honda Fit. Sears didn't carry the battery I needed and Autozone only had the battery at a select location for $150. I had been trying to avoid going to the dealership on the advice of others who claim that I would pay more but I finally decided to bite the bullet and go to a place that could definitely help me. I rushed in 15 minutes before the service department closed and was completely prepared to leave the car overnight and get a rental car. However, the service department was able to change my battery in 10 minutes and it only cost $114! I was in and out in 20 minutes and paid much less than I expected. This is the only dealership I've been to that has consistently offered good service and has not tried to rip me off. I refuse to take my car anywhere else. read more

Took my car to pep boys since my AC was running warm. They told me that they didn't have the Freon needed for my 2016 civic, so I called Norris Honda and was able to take it right over (right down the street, so less than five minutes after) with no appointment. My service advisor Will Barnes was super great on the phone and in person. He explained what could potentially be wrong with the car (without being judgemental since I had never dealt with this situation before!), kept me updated via voicemail multiple times, and was able to refill the car with no cost since it was under warranty. It's rare to find good customer service with genuine people like that these days. He was very straightforward, nice, and made the experience great. They figured out and fixed my issue I was having with my "tpms" light. After having pep boys change 3 tire sensors and having the light still come on for days after I finally took it to my dealer, they gave me new Honda certified sensors and told me how my blue tooth adapter by be interfering with my signal. Now I have to fight with Peo boys to get my money back. Only getting 4 stars because of the wait and because I had to come back twice in one day. Went to wash my car at their car wash late on a fall day. No one came the whole time I was there. My wife and I were drying my car . When two employees came out of the dealer ship and I didn't know what they were up to I soon found out one of the ladies got in the silver dodge truck and proceeded to back it very close to my brand new CRV. Either trying to block me in or disrupt my wife and I from drying off my vehicle. I was only their a few minutes. And pulled around her truck. I call the Manger that night. He left a message on my answering machine. My wife erased the message by mistake. When I tried to call back for a solid week not one would call me back. Really good customer service. Good price, but the APR was jumped on me. I will provide specific details in order to avoid slandering and to provide people with information if you wanted to seek out this dealership. The customer service was initially very good. I was looking for a Honda 2019 Insight. Everyone was polite and treated me as if I was someone who was signing up. The person I had spoken to seemed honest and personable. As I sat down and had the papers finalized, the APR that was agreed upon was jumped up. I knew that the insight had no special promotions on the APR, so I was expecting it to be decently high. Based off Honda's own website, financing the vehicle with them would have given me a 3.5% (which is still quite high). I had a hefty $7000 down payment and a good credit score to boot. I was thinking this was going to be smooth sailing. When I got the papers, the APR was jacked up by approximately 1.4%. Mathematically, the vehicle was $25,000 rounded up, so I would be paying an extra $1,750 over the 5 years. I'm not going to lie, the price they gave me was within Kelley Blue Book's range, and the customer service was quite good, but I did not appreciate the discrepancy between what was agreed upon and what was on the final paperwork. In the end, the APR I was getting was blamed on the "new" dealer, but I believe that his APR was honest. It matched the Honda website finance calculator. The manager's APR was not. I had done my research and with a good down payment, I knew exactly what to expect. TLDR: Good customer service, but APR was problematic and different from what was discussed. read more

My brother has a Honda Accord that's burning oil and caused the catalytic converter to become defective. Honda put a warranty on this problem due to the high failure rate. His car fell under the warranty guidelines. The service writer told him he would have to purchase the converter for $1000 before they would consider any warranty repairs. We got the service manager involved. This guy didn't care and was very unprofessional. Told us the same thing. We called Honda direct to file a claim in progress. We'll see what happens. What I can say is this dealership does not stand behind there factory warranty. They try to charge us for a converter that is supposed to be covered under there oil consumption warranty. I bought a new Honda CRV at Norris Honda. I had an ok experience buying the car, and the purchase included two years of basic service. I came in for a oil change about a year later. Despite having an appointment and only needing a basic oil change, it took the service department nearly two hours to finish. I spent that time in the waiting room listening to offensive evangelical television (the "700 club"). My time is way more valuable than a "free" oil change; I won't be back! read more

Went there for a general check up/topoff/ and to get a tire patched. I explained that I wanted the multi point inspection and everything topped off because I was coming up on 36,000 miles and the end of my warranty and they said they would check everything. I was the first customer there (I had just gotten off of night shift 7p-7a so I was very early, and tired), and it still took 1.5 hours and they didn't do anything except patch the tire. I asked them why they didn't do the Inspection and they said they didn't know I wanted it done (after they told me they would check everything). And then I just got a bunch of lame excuses how it wouldn't change anything because my check engine light wasn't on. I know my check engine light wasn't on. I just drove 3000 miles across the country and don't live close to a Honda dealership so I thought I would knock out a top off/check up while I was there for the tire, but apparently they don't listen and don't care. Normally I am very happy with Honda and their customer service, but this place was terrible. They do not offer anything for their customers whether it's in the customer Lounge or the normal courtesies like putting paper down on the floor mats, complimentary wash, etc. I will not be returning. read more

I love this place. John was my salesman in March. He was so accommodating. Let's just say the night I walked in with less than an hour before closing... I was in a horrible situation. He didn't try to get me to do something I couldn't afford. In fact he tested out each car for comfort for my children for me. I love that guy. Went in looking for Becky and found that to my dismay she's gone. Bought 3 Honda's off her. Anyway, went in today looking to buy a new CR-V. Got my trade in appraised ($10,000) which was about $500 too low. The salesman asked "how much were you asking for the trade in" I told him I wanted $11,000 and he sat there for a minute and said nothing. I waited about another minute and when he still didn't say anything I said "well, I don't wanna waste any more of your time" and he let me walk out the door without asking if I'd be willing to negotiate on the trade in. Never even got to the negotiation over the new car I wanted. I'm 60 yrs old and have never had a salesman let me walk out of a dealership so easily. I went in to get my car serviced this morning. They told me that it would take about 45 min-1 hour, and directed me to the waiting area and free coffee. The waiting area was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Service members were coming out consistently to give other customers updates on their vehicles and were very nice and accommodating to everyone I saw them interact with. I normally only come to the dealership for oil changes because the prices are just so expensive for labor on things. What I do like is they tell what's wrong with my car when I get the oil change and give me the price points and recommendations. I have been using this dealership for about a 2 years now and I always pull up to the same service guy name who I thought was Carl but my receipt say Walter. He's always so nice and understands what I'm wanting. Today he overdid the experience which I loved. I had to get a key replacement which he told me about online coupons because it was going to be expensive. This location itself is never awfully crowded like others I been to with 5 hour waits. They have a play area for children while waiting for service. They have a car wash attached which I didn't use before just thought I mention it. 3 things to know about this place 1. The people at the auto service are either just out of school or just straight lazy. They do not do proper work on vehicles. I recommend just oil changes, its the most simple job, i think its what they are best for. 2. Customer service is either put too strong on you, as you walk in you will be showed what they think you should buy, not what you want to buy. Or it can be too poor. As today i went just to get my wheel locks removed, 45 mins prior to closing and they said to come back Monday because they are about to close soon. Its a 5 minute job, and the bay was empty... sounds like lazy employees wanting to sit and do nothing to me. 3. The parts are EXTREMELY overpriced. I would actually recommend any other part store, or even buy online. The parts they sell are original yes. But other places sell original parts too, just not that high. Also, they will lie if you bring up the fact. I work on cars, parts and labor procedures is nothing new to me. They really tried telling me a story to make they're price sound reasonable. As a newcomer in Baltimore, and with serious trepidation, I took our long-owned 2003 Honda CR-V in to Norris Honda for the CR-V's 120,000 mile service. I was prompted to do this after I had the car inspected for re-registration purposes at a local inspection station. That station pointed out that many service items were needed and provided a list of service items totaling an estimated cost of $792. Expecting a Honda service organization to be even more expensive but wanting true Honda repair parts, I wouldn't have been surprised by a bill approaching or exceeding $1,000. Adding to my trepidation was the many bad reviews for service at all of the Baltimore area Honda dealers. Fortunately for me, Will Barnes was my service advisor, and he thoroughly reviewed the history of earlier services done on our CR-V over the last 3-4 years. I hadn't expected anyone to spend the time Will did to possibly identify service items not needed. As a result of his thoroughness and honesty, my bill came out to be only $110. I went to Norris Honda because, as I was researching deals in the area, I noticed they were havng an Employee Sales Event. I met with JB whom, up front, seemed very charismatic about helping me find the car I wanted. I stated up front that I was very interested in purchasing, but was really just looking for a quote at the time. He took me for a test drive and told me about some of the features of the car, which was great. However, when it came down to pricing, I specifically stated what I felt comfortable paying and one of their financial officers made several phone calls to get me a quote that was NEAR my suggested price range. When I told them that I was thankful for their service, but needed to go over my financials to make sure that I was comfortable with the payments, they both looked at me (and my gf who was with me) like we had wasted their entire day and it was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and AWKWARD. I had to shake their hands and thank them for their time in order to make my escape. I was definitely upset about how I was treated on the way home. I did end up buying a car from them as they had the model and color I wanted for what seemed like a reasonable price because of the Employee Sales Event (even though I think they overcharge for standard add-ons like wheel locks). Nevertheless, I would absolutely have gone somewhere else to purchase my vehicle if I'd have known someone else offered a comparable price. I scheduled to have my Honda airbags repaired due to the recall. At the appointment, we learned that they did not have the parts to complete the recall. We were never called ahead of time to bump the appointment. When I called to reschedule I spoke with Will Barnes. He assured me that he would call me when the airbags have arrived. It has now been almost a month and I have called Will 3x, all with the same attitude/response that he will call me. Took my 2004 Honda Accord in for a check engine diagnosis. Normally don't ever go to the dealer, but I was told by 2 different mechanics that this was a gas tank pressure issue that only Honda could fix. I took it in and asked them to please only do the diagnostic as I wasn't sure if i wanted to put anymore money into the car or if I wanted to get something different. After being there for an hour, they informed me that my car would not start at all and it would cost $845 to replace the starter... I felt as if i had no choice but to let them fix it since they said it couldn't be started. They claimed they did an evap test after the starter was fixed and told me my gas cap was just loose (this had already been checked and was not the case). They also put on my invoice that they replaced both airbags that were on recall. This was miraculous considering the service tech told me the parts wouldn't be in for a few weeks. And more amazing than that, as part of their courtesy inspection, they rated the tread on my spare as good, yet nothing in my trunk was moved. At the end of the day, they treated me like I was an idiot, made me feel inadequate for being a woman and got me for every red cent they could. I will NEVER go to Norris Honda again. read more
