    I would give them zero stars if I could. I was talking to Jose via text and set up an appointment with him. I get there, they ask me if I have an appointment, then just stuck me with a random salesman who had no knowledge of why I was there. The two cars that I talked to Jose about wanting to test drive were completely snowed in. It took them around 30 minutes to shovel out the one vehicle. They didn't even bother to try with the second one while I was on my test drive, so I just took a look at it and left. I received a rude text from Walid, my salesman. It is extremely unprofessional for a salesman to speak to a customer this way. I told him during my visit that I may be back, but that I wasn't sure when and that I'd reach out. It's been four days since my visit, three of which were the weekend. I have never been spoken to like this by a salesman. To add to this, he made no effort to sell me the Toyota Corolla Cross while I was there. He was dead silent our entire test drive, unless it was to talk about the snow. I had to ask him for directions and suggestions on where to drive, he made no effort to provide directions or any information about the car. I had to pull it out of him. He was not great at selling me the car in the first place, then proceeded to be rude over text message afterwards. I was considering coming back to the dealership, but not anymore.

    I bought a jeep there and b4 I purchased, I was getting calls and texts, looking to get me there ASAP I noticed a few issues like the jeep was used by a heavy smoker, my rearview mirror was cracked, and the sunvisor was constantly falling out of socket, and it would dangle in front of your face as you drive. I had it put in writing that they would detail my jeep and fix the two other issues. The first problem was the detail was canceled the day it was scheduled and they never got back to me for another appointment. I had to call corporate and then get a forced appointment . The rearview mirror was a complete disaster. They sent me to another dealership to pick up the part then back to Easterns and had me wait hour and half in the waiting room and tell me that they did not have the proper tools to fix. I had to go back to the dealership where I got the part and get it fixed which Eastern paid for. The third problem is my sunvisor. It's a hardwired sunvisor, and it constantly falls out of socket and dangles in my face as I'm driving on the road when I hit bumps. The management asked me to take pictures and video and send to them. This was almost 2 weeks ago, and I still have not received a call nor email . I called the main office and they asked me to forward that email over to them with my issues. It has been three days and still no response from them either. The only time they call you back or email you is to buy a vehicle from them . Once you buy a vehicle, you're dead to them.

    I was buying a new car a few days ago and saw that this dealership had a car I'd like to view/test drive. I called and a man named Jason Walcott answered the phone. He was very pushy over the phone and was annoyed that I wasn't making any commitments. I just wanted to see if I could stop by anytime to check it out. He asked if I'm buying the car that day and I said no, I still have questions. He said ask your questions and I said "well I have a list". He found this a little annoying and said "wow you have a list" in a sarcastic tone. He asked me when I would be by I said maybe 2, but that I was visiting another dealership prior to this. As I was trying to get off the phone, he repeated THREE times to ask for him when he gets there. I said okay/all right each time and he just kept repeating it in such a weird, pushy tone. This morning, I saw that he gave a "thumbs down" on his business card via text. I guess he's annoyed that I never came by. I actually would have if anyone else answered the phone. His tone, poor customer service, and forcefulness made it very clear I'd be better off at DARCARS. Overall, this Jason Walcott is very unprofessional and I am breathing a sigh of relief that I only had to deal with him over the phone. *went to DARCARS Temple Hills and got the deal of a lifetime on a new 2020 Kia Optima LX (Lifetime Maintenance + Gap Insurance) with Luis. Even got a complimentary set of extra keys ($300 value). It's worth the drive and every single person in the building was a major help and not pushy at all*

Our sales person Sam Gottfried at DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring, MD., was nothing short of amazing! The real reason my wife and I went in was solely because of him. His fun energetic personality and easy going demeanor was impressive to say the least over the phone. Yes I said over the PHONE! This is where most sales associates drop the ball. When we got the referral I called him and left him a message. Within 20 minutes or less he called back and we began to have a fun humorous banter that we fell in love with. We took the hour and some change drive if for nothing else to just meet Sam. He even sent us a video of the vehicle as we were stuck in traffic just to let us know he was serious about making sure we didn't drive up there for nothing. We get there and one of his coworkers took us right to him. He stood up immediately and knew who we were and shook our hands and gave hugs like we were family. Sam had the car ready for us to test drive. Then the negotiating started. My wife had a set price in hand. The management delivered their pricing first. We countered. Didn't take long for the management to agree to our price. Period. Since it was my wife making the purchase for herself she felt the negotiating was quick and simple enough. Sam sent the car to detail while she went to finance. Sam and I even went looking at trucks for when I'm ready to trade my vehicle in. We get back to finance and all that was left was to put the tag on the car, take a few photos and come home. If you are looking for a Toyota and want the deal that's fair for both the customer and the dealership as well as to the sales person go see Sam at DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring. Tell him Deanna and José sent you, because I can't sing enough praises about this young man who fought to make sure we were satisfied.

Being in and out in about 2.5 hours is unheard of at a dealership--they really respect your time. ​Right off the bat, they gave me a great deal on my RAV4 trade-in. I was worried about being low-balled, but they were fair from the start, which settled my nerves and made me realize this car was meant for me. Outside of the interest rates (which the dealer doesn't control), the 2024 Corolla was very reasonably priced. ​I also appreciated that when I gave a firm "no" to a pitch for a newer model with a different rate, they respected my decision and didn't mention it again. If you want a smooth, transparent process without the all-day headache, I highly recommend this location!

After short wait in customer lounge area I was called by service depot that my oil change was completed. On May 26, 2026 my check engine light came on. I contacted Onstar to run diagnostic check. Onstage provided codes to maintenance issue. I took the vehicle to another mechanic and advised him of my problem. He checked my vehicle and advised my oil was almost dry. Also my coolant and washer fluids needed more fluids. He replaced needed fluids,check engine light issue resolved. I contacted Bob Bell and they refunded my money for ghost oil change. I am satisfied on refund but disappointed on amount of my time,energy,and angst on dealing with this issue and level of service from Bob Bell with whom I have been doing business for years.

Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one. Siwan ensured to explain every step and why certain things were required/recommended. Additionally, he ensured to show me how the cost was calculated (we all know car repairs can be pricey but he also makes sure that you know where your money is going!) I even received videos explaining the work being done on my car as it was done. Finally, the waiting area was very well-designed and comfortable. These added details were the cherry on top of an already amazing experience! Honestly one of the best experiences I have had. I will definitely be taking my car back when additional services are needed!
