I called them to let them know that it seemed the package was delayed and not able to be accurately tracked by USPS. The business manager was very rude and said they had sent the package out and the rest was on me. No assistance with reaching the carrier or concern that I hadn't gotten it in a timely manner. She hung up on me. As far as she was concerned her part was done. I will be putting in a dispute with my credit card, but wanted to spare someone else the same issue. read more

I've been a patient at this clinic for some time and I have nothing bad to say when it comes to treatment. But I will say i did get some passive aggressive comments from the doctor because I hadn't been back to the clinic in 2 years. The first time I came here, it was a very positive experience. That was six months ago. Since then, I do not know what have occurred. The employees were basically in pajamas. It was very disorganized. My appointment in total took two hours to get in and out. When I went into the room, the nurse brought in a man with her. I was not informed of who this was or if I was even comfortable having him in the room with us. I was not. I saw Dr. Orleans and she did not have much insight into my questions. She even told me to "let her know how it goes and to tell her what she should recommend in the future". That is not my responsibility frankly. I went in for issues with acne and I asked for a solution. They were not going to prescribe anything until I requested. I waited two hours and the entire visit was about five minutes. You will wait months and you will not be able to contact anyone with any ability to provide restitution. The doctors are good. Their new company are liars and cheats. I needed to get Cigna involved. Before I left the office, they said I owe another $233 dollars, which I paid. When I reviewed my EOB, it said I didn't owe anything. I had to get Cigna involved to get me my refund. Three weeks later, the "refund department" denied the refund. I called and got the run around. Now, again I am working with Cigna to get my money back. Find another doctor group and save the troubles. read more

My wife and I have been patients here for over 20 years. The Doctors are fantastic. Jasmine the scheduling lady is super sweet. The rest of the office staff and check-in, and communications is pathetic. We are leaving. I'd rather have a colonoscopy and a root canal on the same day with pleasant people than deal with this office staff. read more

I have used this practice for many years. However, this last visit was much different. It was super crowded I felt like a cow being herded. I did not see any personal care and things were very rushed. It was for the yearly check up. I am blonde and fair and the examination I got was so rushed, I am not sure it was thorough. On top of that, they charged me more than they should. (My partner goes to them also, and he said he felt like they over charged for everything as well). They took my $60 co pay and then charged me a $90 office visit fee. I have NEVER been charged both in any practice I have ever been too. They are more interested in getting my money than giving me good care. I will find a new Derm next year. read more

North Atlanta Dermatology is a large practice that is heavily price gouging their patients. I simple 30 second swab resulted in a bill of $460.00 plus over $1300.00 in lab charges for a simple rash. Fortunately, my insurance covered the lab fee, however the charge from NAD is not covered due to the billing code used. This appears to be incompetence of the billing office or something worse. Beware of this practice at North Atlanta Dermatology!! Also planning to create a case with insurance commissioner of Georgia. The doctors appear to be okay but the practice they work for is of concern. Going back to a single doctor office versus a large corporation ripping off patients. read more

Very disappointed with the new owners. This used to be a great practice. But since the new owners came in two years ago, it has become an inefficient and impersonal factory. The doctors are great but the rest of the experience is dismal. They overbook on purpose and everything runs behind schedule. I once had to wait in the waiting room for over 20 minutes to then sit in the exam room in a gown for another 35 minutes just waiting to be seen for 5 minutes. I guess my time is not as valuable as theirs. The phone tree is frustrating. "We are currently experiencing a high call volume as we transition to a new system. Please bear with us and listen carefully..." has been in place for over two years. Apparently two years is still not enough time to transition to a new system, and no matter what time you call, it's always a high call volume. Scheduling is a nightmare. You might have to wait a very long time for follow ups (several months) so you might be better off going to another provider if you can't wait that long. They have too many patients. But they don't want to refer patients to other providers, which would be the right thing to do. My doctor wrote a script for me but it never made it to the pharmacy. I kept waiting and waiting. Finally I had to wade through a ton of calls to get it filled. Who has time for this? Then I had a question on a bill and it was frustrating to get it resolved. This is not the place it used to be. I'm looking for a better place, even though I really like my doctor and hate to leave. Dealing with the rest of this is just too stressful because you know you won't be able to get in within a reasonable time, if you need to be seen about something. Not everyone can wait 4 months, if something serious is going on. I do not think the new owners know what they are doing or care, since it has been more than two years and I don't see any improvement in their processes. I was willing to give them a chance in the beginning. But now I think this is just how they run a practice. read more

This practice does not follow up with their critical patients. I was prescribed to a medication that needed to be heavily monitored with monthly blood tests, monthly urine tests, monthly appointments with a doctor, and a monthly questionnaire. This is the third time this practice has failed to follow up with me and I have had to interrupt my treatment plan because of this. They did not administer any of the above monthly necessary requirements, and therefore I was locked out from accessing my medication and care. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have called multiple times and no response. I am changing practices. read more

I will continue to tell anyone who will listen how awful this place is. They do not know what they are doing! They did a botched biopsy on me a year ago and now I have 2 hideous scars under my arm. This is so heartbreaking. I literally cry all of the time. When I tried to go back to them for a solution for this botched biopsy, they just extend the amount of time that my arm will take to heal and dismiss me. Nikki Nikki Nikki Dr. Nikki is amazing. I am her patient as well as my teen age daughter. She is very nice and always listens to my options. But she really listens to my daughter and takes her perspective as her patient more. But the way she responds to us both and handles the obstacles is amazing. Me daughter is on a monthly plan so they seem to always work with me on getting her in the office. The medical assistants have very good bedside manners. There is one young lady in particular that we always get that I love seeing. There are a bunch of amazing ppl who treat this place and there patients so well. I recommend to all!!! read more

Trash. Don't spend your money or your time there. They messed up my biopsy to where I now have a big scar on my face in a location that didn't need one. They have trash assistants and dermatologists that just don't care what you want then to do instead they only do what will make them the most money like always making you pay for biopsy tests when you clearly told them to do something cosmetic. Easy to schedule and loved being able to fill out new patient forms online rather than having to show up early and fill them out there. Waited in lobby less than 5 minutes and was called back, gave symptoms to nurse. She left and less than 5 minutes later the P.A. came in, addressed my concerns, told nurse the prescriptions, and it was all handled on a tablet and immediately sent to my pharmacy. The entire visit was less than 20 minutes!! Made a follow up appointment easily at a time super convenient. Everyone was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've been to plenty of dermatologists. Dr. Douchy is my favorite. I've had Dysport, Sclerotherapy, annual body checks, suspicious spots analyzed, prescribed meds for retinol, and all of them at a great price. Staff is awesome. PA's and assistants great. I have a lot of friends who go to med spas, I can see a difference in how Dysport is administered. Go to a doctor, not an esthetician. Also, the doctor talked me out of a costly cosmetic procedure that would have made them money but he said it was a waste of mine and not necessary at my age. I'll provide my story and you judge for yourself. I've been a customer for about seven years. I've had chemo therapy for skin cancer, and many other procedures. Today, as I headed to my appointment I realized due to traffic on GA400 I'd be about 10 min late. So I tried to do the right thing by calling to let them know this. Though, they don't provide a direct number anymore, you have to call a call center. So I did call the call center. I asked for the number to the actual office so I could let them know I'd be a few minutes late. She snapped back that that wasn't possible and only she could call the office. She also threw in that they'd had a meeting yesterday and decided that any patients showing up late would be denied their appointment and would have to reschedule. (Never mind the handful of times I waited up to an hour and a half on "them" to be seen, or waited on them to "recalibrate" the machine, etc, etc, without complaining). So I asked her to please call them and I will hold for an answer. Well, I arrived before the rude lady ever got back to me. So I walked in and signed in and sat down. A few minutes later the receptionist called me up and told me that the doctor would not be able to see me since I was late. I told her "don't bother, because I will NEVER come back to your practice again, ever." That's the whole story. No hidden drama. You decide if they did the right thing or not. As for me, I expect a little more loyalty than was shown to me today. I have serious skin cancer issues and need to know my providers have my back. Clearly this one did not. Having contracted poison ivy & had been to an urgent care center already 3 times for relief, I went to North Atlanta Dermatology for an appt. with Nicole Black, NP. Nicole & her Medical Assistant did a great pf helping me during my 2 appts. Came up with the perfect plan of care very quickly & was so inviting & accommodating to me as a brand new patient. Great job to all including appt. Person, front desk, & checkout personnel. Truly a great experience. Thank you! my only issue is the use of the text message system for communication via a secure website. While I appreciate the security measures taken, I could have handled getting an appt in a relatively short time (10-15 minutes) versus a 1/2 - 3/4 day affair. Having to enter my personal date of birth to verify identity took me, as my impatient self, way too long to navigate & too many conversations needed to pin point my need. I love this office for so many reasons. First, the PA properly diagnosed and treated my problem right away. I though I had a wart, but it's actually a cyst related to a finger joint. Second, the staff is very friendly and professional, and everything ran on time. Finally, I was able to enter my health history on an iPad they provided. So much better than filling out 10 pages! I had my first visit here today. I had a bad experience with a previous dermatologist that resulted in a large scar from a basal removal. They took care of it today and also evaluated all my other skin issues. I felt very comfortable here and I actually saw the dermatologist! Last place I went had a PA performing surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Ismail was very through in her examination. She took time to listen to my concerns and was very friendly. I have found my new dermatologist!! read more

The purpose of my visit was to have a full body exam. Once a year it is important to be checked for suspicious looking moles or other skin problems. Thankfully nothing was found by Dr. Sabini so I am good for another year. The office staff was helpful and my insurance covers the cost of the exam. I am greatful that this exam is available. I tried to pay my bill on their online system and it kept coming back as Declined for a total of $8.71. I should note that I travel for a living and had to remember to do this four times in two months. Each time my card was declined. I then got an Email stating that they were sending me to collections for the $8.71. The irony is that North Atlanta Dermatology owed ME $20 that they kept for over a year without contacting me that they was an over payment. On top of this, I noticed something on my skin that the dermatologist did not see in his examination and it was on my face. Now I have to go back. Funny how these folks want to send their customers to collections for 8 bucks, but keep their customers money for over a year when they owe us. Bad service. read more

Took over an hour to check in. Staff is rude. When you call, very rarely do they answer so you leave a detailed message and they return your call only to give you the front desk number to call. They don't address the question asked on the voicemail. You can text them and they respond but sometimes you just need to talk to a human to schedule an appt. Went on their website to schedule appt.
