She came in with her own financing and was ready to purchase. With multiple sales people mulling around inside the dealership, her sales person bounced around between my daughter and others arriving. It took so long, she left and went to lunch and when returning the purchase agreement still wasn't ready. After 3.5 hours of waiting it still wasn't done. I wonder if you don't finance through this dealership you are placed at the bottom of the waitlist. I spoke to the sales manager and all they could say was sorry I guess we were busy. We purchased our vehicle here a few years ago and had a great experience. Things have obviously changed and customer service excellence seems to be less of a priority. My daughter is seriously thinking about going back to another Nissan dealer because her experience there was very high.

Bought a 5yr old used truck from Hayford. Reasonably priced. I came in an hour before they closed…read moreand offered to come back the next day. Sales was dead set on a sale that night. The finance department was very unhappy to still be there. I requested to use a loan through my credit union. They never even contacted my credit union. The loan they gave me was based off a credit score that was nearly 120 points below my actual score. My credit union verified my credit score when I refinanced pretty much immediately for almost a 4.5% interest drop. I had to go through the whole refinancing process less than two weeks after I bought the vehicle because Hayford automatically enrolled me in a loan with Wells Fargo with a credit score they got from Equifax. I opened a credit card with my credit union two weeks later and they used Equifax as well and found my score to be way higher. Furthermore a wire for the block heater was clearly identified broken prior to me purchasing the vehicle. Hayford claimed they would fix it. They said they'd call me once the part was in. Two weeks later still no contact by them so I call them and tell them if they are lying about their intentions to fix it to let me know and I'll fix it myself. They then say there must have been a communication error because the part was in stock when my truck was purchased. Their manager Furthermore told me I had no right to question their character because he's a man of his words. I told him to just mail me the part and I'll do it myself. Guaranteed they haven't mailed it and never will. I wish I had a better experience with Hayford and could recommend them to others, but I really can't. Worst expierence I've ever had with a dealership. Their sales team is pleasant and have some good employees, but their finance guy was extremely short and rude, and their manager was more concerned with his pride than he was resolving the issue. They also do not care about how they treat you once you sign the paperwork. I try to keep business local when I can, but I won't be back and won't be recommending them to anyone I know. In a small community reputation and integrity is everything. Not once was it offered to me for them to follow up on how my credit score was found to be 120pts below what it actually is. Nor did anyone apologize for the absolute cluster of a process they have.

Bought a car from them less than 6 months ago that should have NEVER been on the lot. I was told…read morewhen I had hesitations on keeping it when there were issues with it on day 1 that they would make it right, and when the SAME issue was still persisting after 3 months I was told they weren't willing to help me any more beyond recommending a mechanic an hour from where I live. This is after bringing it to their mechanic 40 minutes from where I live at least 3 times, costing me time and money and causing me to go weeks without a car, having to borrow a car from relatives or with a loaner car that I had to do almost daily maintenance on (which by the way, was immediately put up for sale on the lot when I dropped it off- my condolences to whoever ended up buying it). After spending $2600 on repairs one month ago, I'm now looking at another $4500 in crucial repairs. After giving them the benefit of the doubt for months and ignoring my gut feelings, I no longer for a second believe the dealership did not know about these issues. I know there is always a risk when buying a cheaper used car, but this is unreal. Everything about this experience from the moment I drove off the lot has been an absolute nightmare and has not only left me in debt that is going to take years to get out of, but with a vehicle that is unreliable and untrustworthy and has already cost me more money to fix than it did to buy. By law, a dealer must have and transfer a valid title at the time of sale--yet more than 75 days later I still did not receive the title or proper plates. My temporary plate expired after 60 days, leaving me unable to legally drive the car. I called Brad multiple times and even visited the dealership in person. Instead of resolving the problem, he was dismissive and even threatened to call the police on me when I complained. This behavior was unprofessional, intimidating, and deeply disappointing. This business engaged in dishonest and unacceptable practices. I am pursuing all legal remedies and reporting this matter to the Minnesota Attorney General's Office and Driver and Vehicle Services. Save yourself the headache--do not trust this dealer.

Let me start by saying that I worked at this dealership for two years as a mechanic. About six…read moremonths into my career as a lube tech, I was promoted to a Semi-Skilled Technician. Around that time, a lot of shop drama started because I consistently produced high labor hours and became well known for it. As a result, I was treated poorly by multiple technicians, especially some of the journeymen. About a year and a half into my career, I was promised a promotion to Light Duty Technician after completing a training course in Chicago. After returning from the course, I was never promoted and was instead given only lube tech work, with little to no opportunity for growth. This became a recurring issue throughout my time as a Semi-Skilled Technician. Over time, I realized there was a lot of toxicity directed toward me in the shop. Eventually, that attitude seemed to spread to management, and I began feeling unfairly treated by them as well. After reaching my limit with the poor treatment, I submitted my two weeks notice. I specifically asked both the Shop Manager and the General Manager to keep my resignation confidential because I had been given a promising opportunity elsewhere. I later found out that the GM, immediately told people despite assuring me otherwise. When he claimed that a coworker had spread the news, I confronted that coworker, who confirmed he had no idea I was leaving. Then, the day before my last scheduled day, I was fired over an issue involving a customer's vehicle I had worked on. I was told the engine had seized due to a lack of oil from an open oil cover. I do not believe that claim is accurate, as I always double-check my work, especially oil changes. Considering that oil changes were primarily all I ever did, and I performed a large percentage of them for the shop, I was far from inexperienced. I was told not to return and that I was no longer welcome. After leaving with only part of my belongings, I later learned that the GM and two journeymen went through my personal items for reasons I still don't understand. I also found out there had been discussions about "escorting" me out of the building. I worked extremely hard for this company and was well known throughout the dealership, including by upper management. Despite that, I felt I was consistently treated poorly and denied opportunities for advancement. For anyone considering employment here, I would STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, the workplace culture was toxic and extremely unprofessional. As for the vehicles themselves, after working on Hyundai products daily, I'd recommend literally anything else. I saw constant recalls, frequent engine and transmission issues, and recurring suspension problems. They are horrible cars I'm glad to have moved on from what was, in my experience, a very negative work environment.
