We scheduled a transportation from the Holiday Inn in Holtsville to East Wind for Friday, September 20, 2024. Our driver was initially meant to be Joseph, but he was replaced at the last minute with a man named George. Our driver, George, stole from us and then told a false story about it! when waiting for the bridesmaids to descend, someone in the party paid him in cash when we were at the hotel (to my understanding, they're not even supposed to take payment beforehand, and he even angrily counted the money in front of him). We then had to go around the entire arena after he dropped us off at the incorrect entrance, which presented another problem. Unaware that someone in the party had already paid him, the matron of honor and bride gave him another cash gratuity. Without uttering a word, he accepted the packet. When the bride's family and I realized the next day that we had paid him twice, we called the firm. However, the driver insisted that our party member had never paid him, despite the fact that several witnesses had seen the money! As long as this dishonest driver continues to operate, we will NEVER suggest this company to anyone. They were really difficult to work with in attempting to make things right, and they never offered us an apology or a refund. If I could, I would rate something with a negative star. Very dissatisfied with the service we got on this important day. read more

Update: The owner and manager did try to do everything they could but since there is no video proof, would not hold George responsible to his actions. They refunded one of the 2 payments but we never got an apology for what happened + fake reviews promoting George are still up. Flew into LGA 2 days before Thanksgiving ON our WAY TO LONG ISLAND. Looked at Ubers and $$ was astronomical, so on a whim tried NCL Service. They were EXTREMELY nice on the phone... (got to talk to a real person, Steve) and 2/3 the price of Uber. They picked us up at the terminal and we were off. Our driver was Thomas , who was very professional and friendly, along with/being safe and knowledgeable about the area. We had a great trip and used them again on Saturday to return to the airport. This time we had Nathalia, who also was also a delight. We will definitely be using this service for future trips to Long Island! read more

I was part of the bridal party for my friend's wedding on 9/20 when the company switched out the original driver the morning of for a driver named George. George was paid in cash by the brother in law before the ride to the venue as the company only takes cash payment and dropped us off at the wrong entrance. However due to miscommunication, the matron of honor paid George again in cash thinking that he hadn't received payment yet. Instead of being honest and letting her know that he already was paid, he took the payment and denied receiving both when we reached out to the company to try and get one payment back. Also the behavior of the staff when confronted about this was unprofessional and rude. They just kept jerking around whoever contacted them just to not rectify the situation in the end. This company's driver lied about double payment. Once made by the bride's BIL before the ride took place and another time after being dropped off by the bride and matron of honor PLUS TIP. This service was used by my best friend for her wedding day on 9/20. Was dropped off on the opposite side of where the wedding was taking place. Me, not knowing that the driver had already been paid by the brother-in-law provided the envelope with the payment to the driver, George, who was not even supposed to be the driver and was swapped in LITERALLY THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING. As I was giving George the payment, there was ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION that he already got paid and looked straight at me and said, "greatly appreciated." Meaning that he knew this was his 2nd payment. This is my second time using North Country and I couldn't be more pleased with the company, especially their chauffeur Sam! The first time I used them to go to a concert at the Brooklyn Bowl for my birthday. Yesterday I gave them another shot and couldn't of been happier! I took my 7 nieces and nephews to The Vessel at Hudson Yards, followed by dinner and the Post Malone concert at MSG. The Mercedes sprinter limo is always clean and kept in top shape. Airport service is 100% reliable, on time, outstanding communication. Our drivers both kept in touch with us as we waited to get our luggage and as traffic in the airport was a little crazy. Do not use this company. They left us stranded at the airport in Oct 2022. They did not call us or text us, they just did not show up. When we finally got a hold of someone, it was around midnight, we were told to call an Uber. We left a review on Yelp as to what happened and after about a day the owner called us and asked us to take our review down and she will give us free transportation the next time we travel. We told her we would be traveling in Jan 2023, she said no problem. We called her directly, as she suggested, in the beginning of January to make arrangements. We left three voicemails and she never called us back. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and they simply do not care about their customers. The only Limo service I'll trust to get me back and forth to the airports. Drivers are professional and always go through the check list of key essentials when picking me up (wallet, phone, charger, passport etc etc). They know the roads better than a Nuvi, which is important when crappy LI traffic is getting in the way of your flight and you need some backroad magic. We used NCL for our wedding recently, and I am pleased with the service. We had 2 cars, I can only comment on mine, as I haven't heard anything good/bad regarding the other ride. My car was on time (actually a little early, so that's a good thing) and he was polite & helpful. The car itself was clean for the most part. There was a few napkins left from a previous trip, but nothing major. The radio or music situation in this car was an issue - probably the only issue - I was trying to connect my iphone via USB but it never connected, like it was searching for the connection forever, until I, finally, gave up. The radio was weird too, but ultimately we were gonna talk anyway, so it didn't matter. It was just annoying, like I am on my way to my wedding, I wanna start the party!! Overall - good. I am not sure how comfortable driving in lower Manh. my driver was, as this was a tight block, and it got a bit awkward when we were blocking traffic etc., but again - I got where I was going and on-time. We used this company for our wedding in October. Ashley was very helpful, responsive, and friendly in all correspondence regarding the transportation for the wedding! We ultimately rented out a sprinter van, party bus, and coach bus through North Country. Each driver was cordial, on-time, and helpful with each of the guests. The vehicles were clean and comfortable. There were only 2 minor inconveniences of the day: there was an issue connecting the radio to any phone for particular music selections and the driver at the end of the night told guests they had to leave 20 minutes earlier than they actually were scheduled to. I'm not surprised to see all the high marks and happy reviews here. We hired North Country to take my then fiancé and her family to our wedding in Brooklyn. I wasn't on the bus but got to see some pictures of what it looked like inside and it pretty much looked like rock-star treatment. From my end, as the man who wanted everything for my bride on her wedding, the thing I appreciated the most was their attention to our needs and their sincere consideration for our logistics. When I reserved the bus, I had told them that I needed the driver to be willing to stay parked outside the Brooklyn restaurant where the wedding was to take place because the bride-to-be would need to use it as a sort of 'staging area' where she could stay and get ready as the space inside was small and she didn't want me to see her until she was walked down the aisle. They said hat they would do this but I was still concerned there would be a disconnect between the dispatcher who said the driver would accommodate and the actual driver who may not want to have to deal with standing idle in a 36-person party bus on a narrow Brooklyn street. But my concerns were completely allayed. When traffic had to get by, he simply took my fiancé around the block. They were very helpful and friendly. One other note worth mentioning, and this might be too much information, but I'm sure it's an important note to consider... The bathroom on the bus was big enough for a woman in a wedding dress to use comfortably. read more
