I had a back injury that was acting up. I could barely move my head so I purchased a Groupon and attempted to make an appt with this establishment on a Friday morning. He didn't answer so I left a message. I didn't hear back and due to the urgency of my situation I scheduled with another Massage place. More than 48 hours had passed so I request a Groupon refund. Hours later he texted to schedule. I replied with "I already requested a refund after not hearing from you on Friday. I went to another Masseuse. Take care!" He then went NUTS on me. Calling me "impatient, entitled, that I am what is wrong with the world and that he's happy he disappointed me." It was absolutely absurd! I have attached screenshots of his assault on me if you would like to see who he "really is". I am in the business of taking care of people as well. This was a disgusting unnecessary response. Anyone can be great at their practice but when they cannot control themselves I feel that it negates their talent. I am ecstatic to never have to meet this man. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a therapeutic therapy massage. I read the reviews and thought it would be great. Well I arrived 25 minutes early to complete paperwork. My appointment was at 10:30. Johnny finally called me in about 10:45. Then he spoke to me for an additional 20 minutes. He asked a lot of personal information. I did tell him I like firm but did not want to get hurt. I changed and the massage session began. At some point he asked about cupping and later mentioned an additional 10.00 fee above the Groupon I purchased. The massage was not rhythmic nor a full bodied massage as one is used to. It definitely was NOT therapeutic in nature. I don't know what you call it but this definitely was not a massage. It was the worst I have ever had and I've had massages at schools with students who were barely learning. The massage from Johnny was choppy, he spoke to me during the entire session even after I told him I wanted to get the massage to relax. He placed minimal to zero massage oil. He continued to ask questions and I kept hoping it would get better but it didn't. At some point it hurt and I had to ask him to reduce it because it was hurting. He cracked my wrists and bent my legs so I had to say ouch because it was pretty rough and I can usually handle a lot. Then he twisted my ankle even after I told him I had 1 rod and 2 pins on the left one. Before I knew it it was 1200 noon and I was still tense. I did excuse myself to get the money from my car because I hate owing anyone. The receptionist was taking pictures with her cell phone and i felt like she took it if me. Then Johnny met with me privately and wanted to charge me 750 for 6 session with a discount of 250 then called it a deal for a total of 500. I admit I gave him a 20.00 bill and did pay the 10.00 but he never gave me my change. Before i left I asked her about the photo and told her to erase it if she did but she denied that she took a photo of me so I dropped it. In any case taking photos at the front desk with cabinet files is a Hippa violation waiting to happen. I do not recommend him EVER. It was very unsatisfactory. read more

Johnny rocks at giving sports therapy massages. I really needed a step above the standard deep tissue for my rib / scapula which were popped out of place. He knew exactly where to go, wasn't afraid to dig in there and when I left I felt like a pile of jelly. He got into some of my thicker muscles too such as my hamstrings and glutes, which were built up from years of running, surfing, swimming etc and improper stretching. As Johnny said to me,... I was looking for a cupping and deep tissue/sports massage for a while. I sit a lot at work so my back and neck feel achy from time to time. When I called in, Jon was very kind in asking what I was looking to have help with, what to expect, and any additional questions before coming in. The day I arrived, he texted me to make sure we were on the same schedule. His office is inside a chiropractic office so his name wasn't posted on the building, but was quickly helped once I walked inside the chiropractic office. I arrived, he was very kind, we discussed in more detail about why I was coming in, he asked for me to let him know if I felt any pain during the massage that was uncomfortable or if I wanted him to stop at any time. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and asked him specifically get any tension out of my back and shoulders even if there might be some pain involved. I'm a no pain no gain kind of person. I was very happy with the massage and the cupping. He recommended that I get deep tissue work to help with relieving pain, and to help the adjustments hold better and longer.
